We do need another pacer, only at two right now. Our home conditions are also pacer friendly. We have two left arm pacer with another left arm all rounder. Only one lefti so best if we pick up another left hander.

I'm thinking of changing ArsalanPro (pure all rounder) to an offspinner and KhanNn to a left handed wk in emerging categories. An all rounder is simply not good enough in either of the departments unless diamond or platinum.

Oh shoot I totally forgot about this, this is my first time on the site in over a month. I was originally supposed to be a captain sorry about not being available [MENTION=23911]Moh@n[/MENTION] it was just with Exams and new classes starting I had no time, will try to help Lahore as much as possible as player though.

Drafts are over, and today is the deadline for submission of squads. Tournament will begin after [MENTION=53377]jeetu[/MENTION] bhai is done with preparing his database.
 
It might help your captain if you could go through the rules and give some inputs on squad formation to your captain before the deadline tonight [MENTION=141804]QalandarFan[/MENTION] :)

It's all good. I'm glad you're in time for the tournament. I'll post the squad in probably around 10 hours or so. Let me know if you think there should be any tweaks or such.
 
Will this team become the bashing bag of PCL PSL as well?

Some Suggestions, you don't have to take them I just thought I'd give my view on the squad.

  • Do not put give a WK a high end contract.
  • Opt for specialist in the intl players list I would change the 2 WK's to batsman or maybe even one to a batting AR if possible.
  • Change Ellipsism from a RF to RFM or RMF the fast bowlers if the conditions are bowling friendly the fast bowlers will not get as much purchase out of it, whereas the medium pacer will get a lot more.
  • In my experience Pure AR's have not been very effective at all, so if we are going to pick an AR I suggest making him a batting or bowling AR.
  • Change ArslanPro to a batting/bowling AR and change him to a ROS


That's all I can think of right now sorry if anything seems a bit off I am in a bit of rush and was doing this extremely quick so yeah.

1. KhanNn has been changed to a WK in the emerging category.

2. Unfortunately international players cannot be modified or else one of the wks would have been dropped but it's not a biggie.

3. Again, player changes are not longer possible, date passed yesterday and I didn't know medium pacers get more purchase in sim than faster bowlers.

4. We don't have an all rounder in the final squad, ArsalanPro is now a ROS as you mentioned.

Yes on flat wickets the faster bowlers are handy but on the spicier pitches the medium pacers do the damage usually the faster bowlers have gotten hammered even on bowling friendly wickets. However there is not much more I can think of if player changes can not be made.

If you are going to put 2 batsman in the top 3 contracts make (a bowler) either Ellispsim or AhmadHaris1 a Platinum.

Platinum - Bowler

Diamond - Batsman

Gold - Batsman

Or the opposite as it is right now.

I'll keep it the way it was then, I was thinking that since our home ground is pace friendly, batsman may need more assistance nvm.

All right, after a winning start, we are looking at the Karachi Ducklings. I'm thinking about going with a flat pitch again and chase. The sim seems to favor our bowlers so let's keep 'em below par again.

A solid start to the season with two wins. We are now facing Islamabad and they choose a spicy. I haven’t had time to think about the line up for this match so if anyone wants to go ahead and put forward something, go ahead.

We don't have a FM at the moment. That's something we have to do in the mid season break. For the next match, I'm thinking of going for the tried and tested method, flat pitch.
 
The only game where I had somewhat respectable figures (2-17) and we end up loosing :(( :((
