Having won consecutive matches, Islamabad has boosted its chances of qualifying for the next stage. In contrast, Lahore Qalandars are yet to taste victory in this PSL season, with a record of six defeats and one match abandoned due to weather conditions. The prospects of Lahore Qalandars progressing to the next phase of the tournament seem highly unlikely, although mathematically, they could still reach the playoffs if they win all their remaining matches and other results go in their favor.

That’s great but Rizwan and Babar have also dominated as openers and now Saim is emerging too.

Meanwhile Fakhar continues to struggle in that position.

I don’t see what the big deal is. Opening doesn’t suit Fakhar’s game in t20’s because he needs time to get set but is poor at strike rotation.

Adapting to play at number 4 will only prolong his career in t20 and be good for Pakistan.

What was that all about?

Asif accused Alex of trying to rough up the ball.

Hales threw the ball from long off (or long on), the ball bounced and went to the keeper
Hales was confused because it's usual for the ball to go on the bounce from that position to the keeper. The umpire was being dumb. It was also in the 2nd last over, so really would not make a difference even if he was trying to scruff it up.
