Batting is strong. Wahab and Junaid know how to bowl on uae pitches, don't rule out Zalmi out of this competition. Need Tamim to fire can't relay Kamran. Never know which Kamran will turn up.

Deep batting line up and they can play Shakib in place of one of the batmen, to strength their spin department even further.

Definitely the strongest team in the competition and their chances are greatly enhanced by not having Afridi as their captain. I expect them to at least be in the final.

They are a much better team than last year, partially because of Sammy being Captain & that trade off for Sakib. Without bowling, MoHa was missing as the all-rounder in the team, but now they have a solid team. PZ's best draft was that they picked both Hasan & Asghar under emerging players - which makes a genuine starter un der emerging category, while other teams will have to use a compromise player. This is is tremendous side - might pick Jordan over Tamim & MoHa opening with Kamran, but I think, instead of all-rounder, they'll go for a top order, because Morgan also is struggling with bat. With so many quality all-rounders already in the team - Sakib, Kamran, Afridi, Sammy, they have 16 solid overs from Wahab, JK/Hasan, Asghar & Sakib - that's a very good team for one of the finalists (other one is Lahore).

EASILY the strongest squad on paper. Some people in the Qalandars thread were calling that squad as the best, (and I support Qalandars myself). It isn't . Zalmi've literally got every base covered. Super strong. Would be surprised if they don't win.

Marketing, my friend. Marketing. The fact is, Pathans love Afridi and that pose of his has become trademark all around the world. I expect Peshawar to get the biggest crowds simply because Afridi is there and his pose being the logo is going to make Peshawar even more famous.

WI needed a man manager and he is very good at that, hence his success with them.

However, this team needs a tactician.

This is the first game, so let's see how he does in the upcoming games and whether he has plans or not.
