the problem is that even if it was background noise that does not mean that the noise in the frame the ball went past the bat is background noise too.

snicko has been terrible this tournament. eventually itll cause an issue, its only a matter of time.

the problem is that even if it was background noise that does not mean that the noise in the frame the ball went past the bat is background noise too.

If the background noise is pretty consistent and there's no noticeable increase/spike in the frames when the ball passes the bat then it's fairly safe to assume there was no edge.

The producer is doing a poor job. These two incidents, then on Shami's no ball to Rizwan it didn't show the side angle to see if it was a no ball or not.

The problem is snicko should account for the background noise already meaning there should be a flatline until ball hits bat or body or whatever, definitely something wrong with broadcast as a whole, some of the camera angles they cut to prematurely , some angles don’t seem hd, replays take an age for 3rd umpire, interesting to know whether it is the same broadcasters as before

He wasn't a cheat. When he was playing the rules to specific degrees to which the arm can straighten/bend weren't as strict as they became soon after.

No need accusing someone of cheating.

He absolutely cheated, he on record said he cant bowl with straight arm bcs of an accident and when ICC strengthen the rule he somehow magically able to bowl with straight arm..
