Odd choices. There are some better players in the reserves than the main squad....

Pathetic why do PCB arrange multiple T20 tournaments with Zilch quality, any Tom Dick & Harry scoring a couple of 50s here will vouch for T20 squad, look at the prize money Rs.5 Million. Person on tik-tok are earning more than this, 16 teams sums up the quality of product being offered. Then we want to compete with Australia & India.

Lots of young unknown players hopefully we might find couple of good players for national team , I agreed some of the deserving players are in the reserve squad for unknown reason with prime example being Azan and A.Fasih and Usman Khan the U19 kid.

If the Maaz Khan is that 15 year old leggie who can turn the ball even on marble surface then I am super excited to see him bowl , he is been in the talks for 2 years now.

PCB clearly promoting young talent in this tournament, lots of these names are unheard before and the regular domestic veterans have sit out for this tournament.

Lost count of how many competitions they have ... still cant compete at any level.
Yep. The other issue is with the addition of departments and Champions Cups to the existing regional structure, the cost of staging domestic cricket has surged.

Under Ehsan Mani there was an attempt to create self-financing regional associations - some of them actually got sponsored. Unfortunately Sethi tore it up and reverted to the old failed setup.

Look we have 3 FC tournaments in 2025 alone along with multiple white-ball competitions. We have the worst of all worlds now - quantity over quality and massive financial burden for PCB.

I just don't get it Pak cricket has always been chaotic but they somehow could find a way to compete, now its TOXIC!

Current players, former players, coaches, board members, journos, even US supporters at each other's throats like hyenas.

I just think they've burnt their boats too many times, way too many. I don't think they can find their way back now.

And, its so sad.

Haider Ali is missing out because of a hand injury. Supposedly, he was in the T20 squad for NZ but got replaced because of the injury.
