Babar Azamโs chest in that yellow shirtโฆ
Maybe they it with the 8 teams next season.I feel bad for Saim Ayub, Muhammad Haris, Sufiyan Moqim, Mehran Mumtaz. They deserve to play for a better team.
Fingers crossed.Maybe they it with the 8 teams next season.
But but Babar Azam is their mentor??I feel bad for Saim Ayub, Muhammad Haris, Sufiyan Moqim, Mehran Mumtaz. They deserve to play for a better team.
It's not even about just Babar. It's just a garbage team. It has no balance, and I honestly don't know what they were thinking with their overseas picks. But but Babar Azam is their mentor??
Mitchell Owen kind of makes them competitiveIt's not even about just Babar. It's just a garbage team. It has no balance, and I honestly don't know what they were thinking with their overseas picks.
Considering the players available and the ones they picked...it feels like such a waste. TKC? Max Bryant? (whoever that is). Nahid Rana has potential but he's very untested in white-ball and not someone they can rely on. Not opening with Saim and Haris would also be a brainless decision.Mitchell Owen kind of makes them competitive
They know they messed up in the draft. They have an all their eggs in one basket policy, and thatโs to make Babar open.
These kind of howlers in the draft will happen naturally when your main playing strategy is flawed.
Multan Sultans have messed up too this season.
Forget Saim and HarrisConsidering the players available and the ones they picked...it feels like such a waste. TKC? Max Bryant (whoever that is)? Nahid Rana has potential but he's very untested in white-ball and not someone they can rely on. Not opening with Saim and Haris will also be a brainless decision.
That's a weird looking top. Not sure having a hypnotic circle focussing on their bellies is a good idea. Especially with so many being overweight...
He might get a chance if Saim is unavailable for the first half of the tournament.Need to play maaz sadaqat in xi somehow, this is how lad's going to be developed.
I'm going with this.1. Saim
2. Haris
3. Babar
4. TKC (no other choice)
5. Max Bryant
6. Abdul Samad
7. Linde
8. Ahmed Daniyal
9. Nahid Rana/Joseph
10. Arif Yaqoob
11. Ali Raza (E)
The best they can put out
Middle/lower order is very weak and missing a proper pace bowling A/R, but not their fault because corbin bosch ran off to the ipl
Didn't realise they ropped in Mitchell OwenI'm going with this.
1. Haris (wk)
2. Saim / Maaz (e)
3. Babar (c)
4. Tom Cohler ยฐ
5. Samad
6. Najib ยฐ / Bryant ยฐ
7. Ahmed
8. Sufyan
9. Raza (e) / Joseph ยฐ
10. Rana ยฐ
11. Ali
Bosch is a huge miss. He was the perfect no. 7 and 5th bowler for them. They have named the Owens but I don't know how good he is in that role.
How good is he as a bowler? Can he be relied to bowl 4 overs in every game?Didn't realise they ropped in Mitchell Owen
That guy hit a hundred in the BBL final as an opener
Probably should replace TKC with him at no. 4
No idea about his bowlingHow good is he as a bowler? Can he be relied to bowl 4 overs in every game?
I was surprised when they left Aamer Jamal. The inclusion of Linde and Owen has given them good middle order heft to add to their already formidable opening pair. The bowling might not look remarkable but Ali, Muqeem, Rana, Linde and Joseph is a solid lineup. I think much will depend on how their middle order of Talat, Samad Bryant/Owen fares.
Local players, especially, those with potential and time on their side should be retained. Although Jamal's recent bowling form hasn't helped his cause. In retrospect Jamal might have been a better pick than Mehran/Yaqoob given how Corbin's exit has forced them to pick another spinner in Linde. I don't think retaining three spinners was wise in any case.I was surprised when they left Aamer Jamal.
I thought he was that perfect no. 7 batter and 5th bowler. They would've and he could've improved for seasons to come. These kind of pace bowling all rounder are hard to come by let alone a local one.
Whatโs Hussain Talat done wrong now?Maaz sadaqat is a good prospect. Give him chance in middle if top order is stacked. I think he's better option than Hussain talat since he can bowl left arm spin as well.
He too is explosive if we go by champions cup record, maybe zalmi can find a way to slot both maaz and talat in xiWhatโs Hussain Talat done wrong now?
Who is too explosive? Why is that an issue in T20?He too is explosive if we go by champions cup record, maybe zalmi can find a way to slot both maaz and talat in xi
I meant it as a good thing, both are good SR batsmen. Both should playWho is too explosive? Why is that an issue in T20?
Extremely underrated player. Always delivers.I forgot they signed George Linde. That's a good pick...probably an even better pick than Corbin Bosch. Linde has been in monster form for South Africa and MI Cape Town.
They should be playing this lineup with Mitchell Owen taking tkc place at 41. Saim
2. Haris
3. Babar
4. TKC (no other choice)
5. Max Bryant
6. Abdul Samad
7. Linde
8. Ahmed Daniyal
9. Nahid Rana/Joseph
10. Arif Yaqoob
11. Ali Raza (E)

Love it when these little wholesome videos come out when the team wins a game and not when they are all at sea.Babar Azam on Zalmiโs Team Spirit: Itโs All About Unity and Energy
In a recent video, Peshawar Zalmiโs Babar Azam shared that the team has addressed the weaknesses from last season, strengthening their bowling and further boosting an already strong batting lineup.
He praised the foreign players for bringing the game-changing spark that Zalmi needed and emphasized the importance of utilizing local players smartly, saying the better the locals, the better the cricket.
Speaking about emerging players, Babar called them "product" and stressed the team's commitment to supporting and nurturing them. He also highlighted the experienced coaching staffโs role in passing on knowledge to the youngsters, describing the team's and dressing room's environment as friendly, united, and focused on growth.
Watch the video:
He's their only player who's worth a damn and their mismanaging him beyond belief. Stupid babar.Love it when these little wholesome videos come out when the team wins a game and not when they are all at sea.
The guy who they need to film is Mitchell Owen. He spoke positively and told everyone not to write them off just yet. Heโs their inspirational player, not Babar.
Finn Allen smashed Zalmi twice in 2 games.11 Finn Allens can't match a single Babar. Such is Babar's stature.
He probably believes it's a joke league. Don't worry, Australia isn't stupid enough to drop owens based of him batting at no 7 in PSL due to babar's incompetence.
At least give the guy a fair chance in his position!
Why would I care about Aussie player?@gazza619 what do you think of this Australian Kachra batting at 7 whereas Pakistan beauty Babar opens?
We are all witness to you having issues with Micheal Bracewell for MS. You wanted to pin all the blame on him and Usman Khan. Why would I care about Aussie player?
I can easily turn this around on you and ask you again whilst sticking to my original argumentโฆ.PSL is for Pakistan and local players should get more exposure.
I have issues with Bracewell because he is taking spot of a better Pakistani player. Therefore back to my original point I couldnโt care less about foreign players. We are all witness to you having issues with Micheal Bracewell for MS. You wanted to pin all the blame on him and Usman Khan.
Why canโt you just simply be honest and fair? Whatโs the point of picking foreign players in the league if they are not going to be utilised correctly for the team? Itโs a simple matter of honesty. This is the PSL. Itโs a mixture of foreign and local players. Itโs not the National T20 where you only have national players. The dynamic of the tournament is dependent on the utilisation of the foreign players.
Well what if the opposition is playing overseas bowler who end up bowling mostly to Owen and get him out!. What happens to your theory then?I can easily turn this around on you and ask you again whilst sticking to my original argumentโฆ.
What exposure are the local bowlers of Pakistan getting when Bowling to Babar Azam in the powerplay and not to Mitchell Owen instead?
A bowlerโฆโif I pitch it up or give width to Babar, he will drive me through the covers or run me down to 3rd man. This is my learning from thisโ
But if you bowl the same to a proper striker like Owen, he will deposit you into the stands and force you to reevaluate your plan. Because he wonโt stop looking to maximise once heโs got you under the pump! So what fair exposure are the Pakistan players getting from bowling to below par T20 batsmen?!
Still looking out for themโฆMax Bryant and Borsh the players to watch out
