The former Multan franchise has revealed following roaster to lay claim on the trophy of PSL 11.

Mohammed Rizwan and Amir in same team.
On top of that 2 of their overseas picks are keepers!!!

Best XI

1. Rizwan (WK)
2. Shahzaib (E)
3. Yasir
4. Mitchell *
5. Billings *
6. Ghulam
7. Forrester *
8. Rishad *
9. Naseem
10. Amir
11. Zaman

There is nothing Pindi in this squad. No fire or paindu pana. All the pathans got together and made up a team. Added 4 goras just for the sake of it.

This team looks like a Peshawar team. Rizwan added his friends, and his staff was made up of all the PZ molvi group.

Don’t like their bald owner

A guy who ropes in Rashid Latif for whatever reason isn’t a guy who can be trusted.

The squad is seeemingly much of a muchness. As always, I’m interested in which new young players emerge from this lot. Can anybody speak to how good Abdullah Fazal is as a bat?

And Fawad Ali, did he stand out?

best signings, mitchell, amir, rishad, zaman, thats a strong core of players but batting is light. worst part is rizwan being captain and lack of power hitters. i really wanted to support a pindi team, but apart form amir i dont even see many pindiwalas. someone like zeeshan malik, would have been cheap, and would have at least had some pindi flavour to the team.

i wanted to support the pindi team, but this team just looks boring.

Wait. Is their whole name just Rawalpindi. Nothing at the end?

How boring if the case. Especially since whatever you can think about Multan Sultans, I thought the name was rather good, it rhymed 😄.

They just bought the team two days earlier.
Will probably work on their kits and team name in the coming weeks.

Strong bowling attack.
Astute captain, but Rizwan's lack of power hitting will hurt them in the powerplays.

Rizwan should come as the last recognised batsman like Sarfraz used to do and pack top order with more aggressive players for them to go ahead

Bowling looks lit but their batting is non-serious... Not threatening TBH

Their best XI then would be;

1. Rizwan (WK)
2. McGurk *
3. Shahzaib (E)
4. Mitchell *
5. Billings *
6. Ghulam
7. Ammad
8. Rishad *
9. Naseem
10. Amir
11. Zaman

They lack 6th bowler if Ghulam isn't considered one

Don’t think the guy adds any value coaching or mentorship wise

Compromised selector too.
Abey, who else will make the team prays on time. If the molvi groups coach is not a molvi than thats hypocrisy.

I think they are deliberately doing this because they tried to spread a fake narrative against Hesson earlier that he removed Rizwan because of the over-Islamic culture he was trying to establish in the team.

Who made this claim? It was Rashid Latif wasn’t it? Is it no coincidence that Rashid Latif was picking the team with Rizwan at the draft? Then they bring in at least 3-4 other guys who are quite strongly religious as a part of their set up

Rashid (he shows off his forehead marks)
Rizwan
Inzimam
Abdul Rehman
Rishad Hossein

So the aim is to make that kind of culture and promote Rizwan as the leader who can lead with the culture that is apparently not in line with the culture Hesson wants to establish

Rashid is an idiot and does more damage to pakistan cricket. But i have respext for abdul rehman. He worked his way up to the position. He was just a school teacher. Peshawar cricket rose because of him

He’s an average coach who can work with a certain set of domestic players

As for RL, as I said…any person who wants to hire his services for whatever is questionable. This Bald owner at Pindi doesn’t seem to be on the right track

None of the three new owners are on track. The Sialkot guys are focussed on looking like Australia and bringing Australians, they might copy their kits color and go for australians sponsors. Hyderabad walay uncle is suffering from a mid life crises and an identity crises. Meanwhile pindi has been taken over by mullah brigade.

They wont be able to pay the renewal fees and the team will switch hands

Samin Rana:

"I regret not picking Daryl Mitchell. Mitchell messaged me at night saying one team was offering him 3 lakh dollars. I rejected it because I wanted to play for Lahore. I told him I can only go up to 230 or 240, don’t take a financial loss for yourself. He said no, I will take the risk, and even if I have to play for Lahore for less money, I will still play."

--------------

This is important information (if true)

Mitchell only wanted to play for LQ. Now he’s been signed up by probably the most boring guys in the league

I have a strong feeling he’s going to pull out before the tournament.

Fawad Ali was super fast but seemed inexperienced. Almost was clocking 90 miles and above but played for a very brief moment.

Paid a lot for Naseem....didn't try to sign a proper t20 batsman likely they will struggle as Lahore Quetta and Islamabad look like solid contenders for playoff qualification.

Forget the name, let's hope they remain professional in other important aspects

That Abdullah Fazal kid from Karachi is a very good batsman. Genuinely excited to see him and Shahzaib get a go

Some beautiful shots here. Kudos to the management for picking young openers to try and give them a fair chance

Jake Fraser Mc Gurk is a solid option too, probably one of the most exciting young openers in world cricket, batting suddenly looks much better with him and Mitchell there

Forrestor a very good big hitting batting allrounder too

Anyone calling this team boring are going to get a seriously rude awakening.

He fell quicker down the pecking order for Aus than he rose.
Short and Owen are better atm than him.

McGurk is a complete hack, even for T20. Guy has zero footwork and not enough power like a Finn Allen to make up for that flaw. Might hack his way to some good scores in the PSL but he's not a good player.

Forrester is super talented and a fantastic signing. Could be a big name for South Africa in white-ball some day.

He will be fine, got a lot of talent, the Pindi Flat Tracks might be the saving grace he needs to find crazy form. Forrestor actually one I am more excited for

Hacks tend to do very well in the PSL

If he can smoke Bumrah with ease he can tonk our garbage bowlers around for days
Agree on Forrester

The reason why he’s jumping on the JFM bandwagon is because he knows that Fraser has to fire for this lot or they are toast with their Test/ODI style batting line up.

He's not really the most talented of his generation. But yes he may succeed in Rawalpindi pitches.

KG - SR - 129
Yasir Khan - SR 137
Abdullah Fazal - SR 150
Dian Forrester - SR 141.21
Sam Billings - SR 133.33
Laurie Evans - SR 139
Daryl Mitchell - SR 137
JFM - SR 149
Ammad Butt - SR 144
Asif Afridi - SR 130
Rishad Hossain - SR 134

You are just a proven hater dude

These are all healthy strike rates for T20, there are not many teams in this contest with multiple 130+ SR

Rizwan and KG are the lowest at 125 and 129 but I think everyone knows atleast Rizwan has that second and third gear he can go to when he is in the mood, same with KG.

Beautiful opening match

One of the two lallus will suffer defeat on the opening day.

Can’t get behind any team that is captained by Rizwan.

A flop T20 player
This!

Enough is enough of this crap! He destroys the careers of all Pakistani batters playing alongside him in this tournament too. This guy will shift proper openers either on to the bench or out of position to play his crappy anchor role opening the innings. He will also make it very difficult for lower order batters to recover the damage he does at the top and during the middle with his selfish play!

Him and McGurk will wreck havoc together. Like they did in Renegades

Pindiz Player Batting Watch T20

Shahzaib Khan 75 (38) & 52 (42)
Kamran Ghulam 81 (42) & 95 (48)
Abdullah Fazal 25 (21) & 76 (51)

What’s your batting order for this Pindiz side? You are their new fanboy

To get the most out of players like Mc Gurk and Yasir Khan they would need to open the batting, only issue with this team is that nearly everyone in the team is an opener

Rizwan,Shahzaib,Abdullah, McGurk, Yasir Khan

in terms of hitting ability Mc Gurk and Yasir are the most superior

Rizwan would personally use him as a floater in that lineup

Only one of Abdullah and Shahzaib likely to get a game

You have Billings, Kamran and Forrestor in there too for some middle over power

Justin Kemp joins the Pindiz as Head Coach

Pindiz are pleased to announce Proteas great Justin Kemp as the head coach - Kemp carries a wealth of experience as a cricketer having featured in over 500+ competitive games with South Africa and different franchises all over the world

Courtney Walsh as bowling coach...

Pindiz Announce Coaching Staff for Upcoming Season

Pindiz have officially unveiled their coaching and management staff ahead of the upcoming season, bringing together a highly experienced group of cricketing minds to guide the franchise.

Pakistan legend Inzamam-ul-Haq will serve as President and Mentor, providing strategic direction and leadership to the team. Former South Africa all-rounder Justin Kemp has been appointed Head Coach, bringing valuable international and T20 franchise experience.

Former Pakistan spinner Abdur Rehman joins as Head of Competitive Strategy and Assistant Coach, while West Indies legend Courtney Walsh will lead the bowling unit as Bowling Coach.

The staff also includes Shahid Aslam as Performance Coach and Rafatullah Mohmand as Fielding Coach.

The experienced lineup reflects Pindiz’s ambition to build a strong, competitive setup and establish a solid foundation for success.

Imagine being a player and ending up with this lot as your coaching staff

I would withdraw my participation and join the local fishing club.

Not only does their logo look like the Gatorade logo but somehow they have also managed to copy the brand color scheme.

Are these guys seriously going to act like they don't know about Gatorade? - one of the biggest sport drink brands in the world

Abdullah or Shahzaib will have to play because of emerging quota

Imagine criticising Kemp, Walsh and someone who changed the entire infrastructure of cricket in KP, turning them from eternal minnows to one of the most dominant domestic regions in Pakistan cricket circuit.

As usual no logic or practicality. Opinions fueled by pure hated for one individual.

Guaranteed you had nothing bad to say about Rafatullah when he was in the United coaching set up

Why Abdur Rehman is not the Head Coach? Who is Justin Kemp?

Shahid Aslam as "Performance Coach"? :ROFLMAO:

Same guy who practices Babar on tile slab with bowling sticks.

We are Pindiz,

Let’s go

Never forget who you are,
Cuz that’s all you got, dear!

Justin Kemp was a good player during his playing days for South Africa in ODI. I didn't know he had gone into coaching.
Exactly, I’m looking for his coaching history.

If this guy is head coach, his only real mate in the panel is Walsh.

They will struggle with a guy like Rizwan as their skipper.
