In total they have about 5 openers including Shahzaib Khan and Abdullah Fazal, and one all-rounder. How is that a balanced squad? You can't expect them to play with four proper bowling combinations, so Ammad Butt will play. And if his performances are not up to the mark then they will really struggle. Because you need atleast one player at 7 who can bowl and bat, and I don't think he is that.
Forrestor is a batting allrounder, he bowls pace, so if the management know this there is no reason for Ammad to play because his batting is awful.
I saw alot of in the last season of SA20. Highly talented player who can add alot of firepower down the order. Probably their smartest pick of the entire auction. I didn't see him bowl even once in the entire season. Which tells me that even if he can bowl, he's not particularly good at it.

Well many young players who have had excellent seasons with Multan and Khyber have always praised him for the faith he has had in them so I don't see that changing. You may hate him as a cricketer, but the guy as a person is a saint.
As I said, the proof will be in the pudding. If these young players have some kind of Stockholm syndrome to support him, that’s their choice. I will observe closely like a Hawk.

I hope he does, there is no logical reason for him to open ahead of JFM and Yasir Khan. One of Abdullah Fazal and Shahzaib will play too and I will assume that it is going to be the one who performs better in the final.
