This thread may not be the epitome of health, but my childhood friends and I have upheld a decades-old tradition of indulging in this 'Kebab in pita bread' on the final Iftaar of Ramadan. In my opinion, no fast food dish can rival this one. I have even endeavored to find it in the UK, but to no avail.

What is your favorite indulgent dish? The picture is without hot spicy sauce, which is a given.

Some of my favorite fast food dishes:

Chaat
Beef burger with onion rings
Fish & chips
Fish taco
Poutine
Hot-dog
Super-spicy Nashville chicken burger
Jhalmuri (it is popular in BD; puffed rice mixed with various spices).

Every food related post of yours makes it seem like you’re heading out to Mr Olympia stage straight after Eid prayer.

My meals tend to be heavy because I do intermittent fasting regularly. I often do 2MAD (2 meals a day). :yk

To answer the question of the title, it has to be a paratha kebab roll from hot n spicy in Clifton, but apparently they closed down so I will settle for any place from Tariq road or a nice broast with fries.

Pepes rice box, extra hot with garlic sauce.

Their mild is hot enough for me lol & I do the garlic sauce thing as well, I don’t know why they are disliked, maybe it’s the price.

Best thing about Pepe’s is all the local places who compete with them and bring out their own chicken & rice, and sometimes being even better and cheaper!

My favourite at the minute is the Indian Hot Pizza, they deliver it quick & it’s always all hot & fuzzy

Price is expensive man for what you get. 11-12 quid for peri peri, the world's gone mad.

And you are quite right about the local places too. They are usually decent but Pepes is still number 1.

I miss Nandos yaar, used to be my go to in the M.E. 2nd highest spice level, even got a bottle of their sauce cuz it was that good. Chicken Skewer with yellow rice and those beautifully made fries and grilled veggies.

Healthy and tastes good and you don’t feel as much of a fattie as you walk out the establishment

There is another franchise called Rio’s Peri Peri & for a long stretch I found their rice/chicken to be better, and now some obscure Pizza place is doing a bowl for like 5-6 quid & it’s a massive portion, I will share if I order from there again and that beats Pepe’s for me as well, Pepe’s I find are very inconsistent across the city, some are decent & others awful, you are right though, the prices are mental, no wonder I don’t order like I use to!

They had branches in Pakistan. Never liked it due to small portions and poor quality.

Wonder if UK is better.

But i like nandoes better compared to them.

Really, Nandoes is like a way milder version of Pepe’s. Even for me, I find them too bland. Yeah can’t imagine Pepes being a hit when the street food is so good

Hmm. I love nandoes, especially their sauce.

I think pepes in pakistan had no quality control than. Like it was too simple here.

Did you ever go to Kins Crunchy Chicken in Pakistan?

Hmm different to here in UK.

Here Nandos is more of a restaurant environment you are probably gonna pay £25 per person and go with missus kids etc.

Pepes 12-13£ fast food you either bring home, eat in car, or if sit in it's usually with friends for a quick meal after a game of cricket.

I don't think Pepes rollout was really controlled in Pakistan, but Nandos managed the brand better and had a country manager whereas Pepes was left up to individual franchise owners .

its not that good.

No one really beats KFC when its comes to fried chicken. There is a Rayyans in Islamabad, but apart from that in Pindi/Islamabad, KFC is better. Not the best though as even KFC here uses poor qaulity meat and cooking process, but the taste is where they win here.

All the foriegn UK restaurants that exists here like Dixy, Pepes, and few more lack the quality. So was bit suprise when @DeadlyVenom mention Pepe, but i assume it must be very good quality there in UK

KFC in Pakistan, Malaysia and Middle East is far ahead of KFC anywhere else in the world- including any western country.
