Does he have real potentialAbdul Sammad is a superior version of Asif Ali. He must develop ramp shots otherwise good yorker bowlers will trap him.
AmeenBoth are our brothers and we wish both of them success in this life and the hereafter.
Every batsman alive that can play a delivery around chest height is a superior version of Asif “Can I suggest as captain..?” AliAbdul Sammad is a superior version of Asif Ali. He must develop ramp shots otherwise good yorker bowlers will trap him.
Yes. He has power and is not leg side focused like Asif Ali. Decent against short ball as well. Good for Asian conditions as number 6-7.Does he have real potential
Let's hope so. Our batting stocks are lower Southamptons point tallyYes. He has power and is not leg side focused like Asif Ali. Decent against short ball as well. Good for Asian conditions as number 6-7.
Won BBL for Hobart Hurricanes.I am just watching thr highlights. Who the hell is this Auusie?
Wow. What power? 1st time seeing him. This guy will go placesWon BBL for Hobart Hurricanes.
He's a gifted player. Don't expect to see too of much in PSL going forward. Probably going to get an IPL contract sooner rather than later.Wow. What power? 1st time seeing him. This guy will go places
Watched in the big bash bash. Ridiculous power. Will destroy many attacks.I am just watching thr highlights. Who the hell is this Auusie?
But this is the reason I was adamant that the PSL gains from using the IPL window- we get the up and coming guys and the next tierHe's a gifted player. Don't expect to see too of much in PSL going forward. Probably going to get an IPL contract sooner rather than later.
Tbh, PSL has always given a spotlight to up-and-coming foreign talents; Malan, Livingstone, Salt, Tim David, Harry Brook...and many others I can't remember. I think you could argue that PSL has been far more fruitful for overseas talent than it has been for local talent. But this is the reason I was adamant that the PSL gains from using the IPL window- we get the up and coming guys and the next tier
Hopefully the local talent will come through. We need a strong domestic setup and lots of real competition. As Fawad Ali showed, real talent does exist but it's missed by an awful, self serving and corrupt system.Tbh, PSL has always given a spotlight to up-and-coming foreign talents; Malan, Livingstone, Salt, Tim David, Harry Brook...and many others I can't remember. Abdul Samad from J&K is a proper player not a tape ball player like Pakistani Samad.Look at FC stats
Indian samad - 40 Avg , 96 strike rate with 6 century and 6 fifty , Highest score - 128
Pakistani Samad - 12 Avg, 38 strike rate ,0 century and 2 fifty , Highest score - 59

Yes Indian Samad is through the systemAbdul Samad from J&K is a proper player not a tape ball player like Pakistani Samad.
He was pretty popular tennis ball player along with umran malik but i think he was also playing club cricket as well.Abdul Samad from J&K is a proper player not a tape ball player like Pakistani Samad.
But his competition is with Usman khan , Hasan Nawaz ,Niazi type players .Indian samad has a great domestic record. Just look at his strike rates. Boy likes to go big.
I don't rate local smad highly becuase he looks like a tulla player infront of indians.

Very few players are good against high pace quality bowling. These guys are bashers in t20s and likely won't be around to face more than 20 balls because of their batting position. For their specific role in the T20 format they don't need to have too much ability for high quality pace. There are probably only a handful of high quality pace bowlers around anyway. He is trash
Both Samads are rubbish vs any high pace quality bowling.
Hey man can you make a pace bowling thread for all quicks from psl or domestic Pakistan quetta league?I like the thread title only being, Abdul Samad vs Abdul Samad.
The other details ruins the whole title.
Sir, my threads get removed usually. You will have to ask someone.Hey man can you make a pace bowling thread for all quicks from psl or domestic Pakistan quetta league?

This is itGiven the fact that one is going through the Pakistan cricket structure and the other through the Indian cricket structure it’s obvious the Indian one will excel further.
PCB ruins players, BCCI grooms them. At this stage India can field 2 playing XIs that could compete well against any opposition with the amount of depth that have.
Pak Abdul is four years older than Indian oneHind Abdul is a decent hitter but might not play for India ever. May be if India plays two or three T20 series simultaneously then yes he has a chance. Don't forget he also has the K pass with him.
Pak Abdul is a real monster hitter. The ease with which he is clearing those big PSL boundaries is not matched by many. He's sure to become the core of Pak batting lineup for many years. He also has age on his side. Being a Pak Abdul, he's obviously good 5-6 years younger than the Hind Abdul.
Good luck to both of them.![]()
But they are not going to play test cricket. Pakistan needs a finisher for T20 cricket and Samad could be that player. Indian samad is never going to play for national team because India has better options available than himJust check the difference in FC record.
End of thread.
