[PICTURES # 383] KPK beat Punjab by a slender margin of 2 runs

Yasir looks so impotent in limited overs games, specially in LOI.
 
Asghar is 10 times the bowler that is Yasir in LOI.

It's safe to say our performance in the Asia Cup/WT20 would have been substantially better if we had Ashgar..

I heard Wahab has gone for Umra (or is taking it easy).

Zafar might not have been picked by any side.

Which is a shame, because hes much better bowler than other playing this tournament.

In proper selection is hurting Pakistan cricket big time :facepalm:

There are at the least 10 talented players missing in this tournament which makes it only more difficult for Inzi.

And this is why I was talking with [MENTION=138980]TalentSpotterPk[/MENTION] yesterday and proposed that we all should send names of these deserving playing on Inzy's official FB and tweeter account.

I'm certain it's not him who's managing those accounts, but if same words will come in every tweet/FB post, then he will get the message by whoever is taking care of him accounts.

At least call them in NCA to have a look.

For record, I already mentioned Saud Shakeel and Ahsan Ali names on this FB and tweeter yesterday. At least I did my part.

This is the Pakistan way of chasing. Why reach the target in 40th over when you can reach it in 49th.

No taking game by the scruff of the neck, no grinding your opponent into dust. Take actual victory but leave any dominance untouched.

Salman Butt playing an Azhar like innings. He needs to push on instead of waiting till the 40th over. They should keep scoring at 7 an over.

I reckon the biggest difference it that, Butt is keeping the strike and keep on making runs. If play one bad over then make runs in next over. Thus keep Punjab well in this chase.

On contrary, Azhar innings yesterday, had no momentum, never tried to keep strike and only attacked impotent bowlers, which game was done and dusted for him 100.

Azhar was playing faster than Butt. However, RRR was 7.5 for Balochistan. Punjab's RRR was 5.25. I highly doubt that Butt would've been able to chase 229 in 31 overs. Let's not make him out to be something he isn't.

He is batting well here, no doubt, but he has played way too many dot balls. I'd be interested in seeing how he bats in a very high-scoring match like the one yesterday.

That's because Butt has more shots thus more options against spinners for example.

But in the end both bat at a strike rate of 75 in this modern era which has been an issue for Pakistan.

True that Butt is playing dot ball but even one will be naive to compare Butts batting skill with Azhar, who is not naturally a batsmen.

Butt is only playing according to the asking run rate. I would also love to see how he would response is a high scoring game when chasing but lets see if situation arise.

Till then take it easy sugar and laylo. No need to get offended.
