He is an all-rounder and check his pace!

I don’t think any other all-rounder is bowling at such speed currently in the cricket world.

South Africa v Pakistan, 1st Test, Day 1

See what good seaming pitches that offer bounce does?

It creates such bowlers. SA reaping the rewards.

Best Bowling Figures for South Africa in a Debut Match of the Boxing Day Test:

7/81 - Marchant de Lange vs SL, 2011
4/33 - Nandre Burger vs IND, 2023
4/55 - Marco Jansen vs IND, 2021
4/63 - Corbin Bosch vs PAK, 2024
4/76 - Lutho Sipamla vs SL, 2020

He was pretty rubbish on a very helpful pitch. No idea how he ended up with four wickets. Only against Pakistan I guess. Even to the No. 11 Abbas, he was bowling wide outswingers. Lot of pace but not much skill. I'd take Mulder any day of the week.

What a day he is having with the bat now. Absolutely smashing naseem and co here..

Not a tailender by any means

He is playing a match-changing and defining innings on Day 2 of the First Test between South Africa and Pakistan.

Corbin Bosch became the first South African to achieve the remarkable feat of a four-wicket haul and a 50+ score on Test debut. In the First Test between South Africa and Pakistan, he played an unbeaten knock of 81* (93 balls) and took 4/63 in 15 overs with the ball in the first innings.

His batting was more impressive to me than bowling

That high back lift strokeplay is an astonishing treat to watch

Corbin Bosch has been named in the 15-member squad for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan later this month

The 30-year-old, who made his One-Day International debut against Pakistan in December, replaces the injured Anrich Nortje.

As they say for fresh graduate just land a job and start your journey with practical experience , Corbin got hefty $$ in IPL but is only warming bench. What is better sitting on bench at Real or playing for Arsenal

Mohan Bagan may be a better comparison. Sitting on bench at Real is way better.

Only handful of countries play cricket and even out if them there are 8-9 t20 leagues who are in relevenancy. But the hate from your side is evident. Can Mohan Bagan and Real Madrid sign a quality player at the same time ?? Enlighten us

Sitting on Bench... relaxing.. and getting more pay... Nice paid vacation :abbas

Proteas all-rounder penalised for ICC Code of Conduct breach

The incident involving the South African all-rounder occurred during the second T20I against Australia in Darwin.

All-rounder Corbin Bosch has been sanctioned for a Level 1 breach of the ICC Code of Conduct during South Africa’s second T20I against Australia on Tuesday.

Bosch breached Article 2.5 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to “using language, actions or gestures which disparage or which could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batter upon his/her dismissal during an International Match.”

The incident took place in the 17th over of Australia’s innings when, after dismissing Ben Dwarshuis, Bosch gestured towards the player’s dugout in a send-off that could have provoked an aggressive reaction from the batter.

For the offence, one demerit point has been added to Bosch’s disciplinary record. He accepted the sanction proposed by the ICC Match Officials, eliminating the need for a formal hearing.

There was plenty at stake for South Africa, who came in 1-0 down and aiming to take the series to a decider.

After a shaky start, the visitors were lifted by a brilliant knock from young Dewald Brevis, whose unbeaten 125 off just 56 balls powered them to 218/7.

The 22-year-old, who reached his century in just 41 balls, became the youngest Men’s T20I centurion for South Africa and recorded the second-fastest T20I ton for his country.

In response, Tim David’s 24-ball fifty kept Australia’s hopes alive, but three wickets apiece from Bosch and Kwena Maphaka bowled the hosts out for 165, handing South Africa a 53-run win.

The series decider will take place in Cairns on Saturday, 16 August, ahead of the ODI leg starting on 19 August.
