If they are unable to beat Bangladesh at home then certainly they are there among the worst Test teams at home. But are they the worst one bearing in mind horrible record of West Indies, Ireland and others

Pakistan got hammered by England, ridiculed by Aussies and are now being toyed by Bangladesh team. So is it because of dead and flat pitches or is it because of the inability of our bowlers to take wickets.

So Pakistan are back to their infancy days, stunned 9 seasons of PSL has led us to stage 1 in Test cricket, the end is nigh
 
Yes, they were able to beat SA because it was a transitional SA test team having lost all the great players and were short of quality test batters.
 
They are better than Windies at home.

In home conditions, the order is :-

India > Aus > Eng > SA> NZ > SL> BD > Pak >WI

In away conditions, Pakistan are competing with NZ for #5 spot. They are not really bad away.
 
Yes, they are mediocore at home since 90s and got worse over the years.
 
They are worst team anywhere full stop..currently 5th and soon to be 8th

I think pitch is to be blamed. Pakistan need to stop dishing out flat pitches.

If pitch has more spice, I expect Pakistani bowlers to do much better.

On a side note, I don’t even think Mushfiq rates his 191 against Naseem, Shaheen, Khurram and Ali on this track. But Rizwan’s 171* has placed him in the league of Dhoni, Gilchrist, Boucher and Alec Stewart according to his fans

The "new management" is just a bunch of re-branded old cronies. As the statistics above show, this is a problem that goes back decades and is becoming more pronounced under the current crop of shooperstaaars and the concrete roads they're playing on.

Brother people don't understand how much of a clown he is.

He was telling NZ C team last year that he has different bats for t20 and odi, as both are different batting positions so he takes extra care on making special bats designed for him. Even NZ players were like "Okay? Why are you talking to us bro?"

Arshad nadeem found him so annoying and his fans had to clarify clearly that Arshad nadeem on twitter is not Muhammad rizwan because rizwan decided to make his pfp arshad nadeem.

Now he's claiming his 171 was to help and pray for Bangladesh and deal with the flood?

This is my issue, Umar Akmal was scrutinised left and right for his drama bazi antics. He just like rizwan at one point was hyped to the moon by ramiz raja but even when UA was perceived in a positive light, Everyone mocked him for his dancer antics, or his fake photoshops etc.

But everyone praises Rizwan left and right for things that are 100x more clown worthy.

Seriously why can't he just congratulate Arshad Nadeem like a normal person? What was the need to pose and pretend that he was him? Why can't he just either stay quiet or post a small message addressing the floods, What's the need to tell the world that he is their for Bangladesh?

I wouldn't be suprised if his next tweet is "Don't worry my Bangladeshi brothers, I will drink all the water for you, No more flood, only Famine"

However he said it as soon as the test day ended, and bangladeshi people are calling him out for it mainly because all of his replies don't talk about the flood itself.

His head tweet is him talking about the flood only to gloat about his 171 in following replies.

And once again some of his fans are talking about how humble he is, but most people from bamgaldesh are mocking his tweet and calling it insulting.

But it's not like he cares.

In a nutshell his tweet was basically: I pray for my Bangladeshi brothers.

And his reply was I scored 171, praise to Almighty Allah.

This is actually a decent comment from him.

Some parts of Bangladesh got hit hard by flood (which was primarily caused by India's openings of their dams).

Appreciate Rizwan's gesture here.

I don't think you knew that Bangladesh was hit by a flood, as evidenced by your first comment. And no this is not the same at all. Because in only one case actual people died and families and homes were devastated.

And "actions speak louder than words?" what is he supposed to do? Go to Bangladesh and hand out rations in the middle of a test match? It seems to me like sometimes people here are reaching really hard and crutching at straws to criticize someone. Give it a rest because this sounds quite childish.

Players send out their thoughts and prayers all the time when tragedies like these occur in the world. Considering their large following on social media, it helps create more awareness, if nothing else. Let's stop trying to criticize or bring down every little thing.

So I just went back and saw his Twitter, and he didn't say anything about "I may have scored 171." You completely fabricated that line by yourself.

If you don't like someone, just go ahead and say it. Instead of making things up.

If you are criticizing him for expressing his thoughts for a country that just got hit by devastating floods then maybe there's something wrong with you.

Azhar is someone I've always had respect for and he's a highly underrated odi opener and test player, I think people took me saying Misbah and Azhar ensured a win wasn't possible and only a draw was while yk did his magic negatively.

It doesn't take any cresit away from those 2 who essentially were a pure fortress. Ontop of which azhar scored a 200 against prime Australia something this lot can never do.

Misbah in test is just that, A fortress.

All these 4 guys complimented each other perfectly. YK being the match winner, Sarfi and shafoq being the contributer, Misbah and azhar being the fortress.

It was the perfect combo and that's why the team gelled and was damn unbeatable at home, at best you could draw cause if all else fails, Misbah and azhar ain't going nowhere.

This lot is a bunch of overrated rubbish?

What's happening right now has nothing to do with the fact that you fabricated something that he did not say.

I also think that its quite laughable that you are mad at him for expressing sympathy for a real-life tragedy, while at the same time thinking that "To be fair" is an okay alternative for "I made a mistake and attributed something to him that he did not say." Clearly self-introspection is not your strong suit.

Look at the domination of Australia, India, and England and here we are. Losing to Bangladesh at home and making excuses like the pitch did not behave like we expected it to do. No wonder why this team will never be able to match the big 3 in terms of performance.

Pakistan's decline started at home like a binary switch in mid 90s. Went from W/L of 6 at home( mid 80s to mid 90s) to W/L of 1 at home. 1995 was a huge turning point. Now it has reached a new low for sure, but Pakistan has been below average team at home for 30 years now.

even anything close to / greater than 2 is quite good to be honest.
 
They are pathetic everywhere with overhyped batsman like babar and bowlers like of Shaheen , Naseem .

I have to say Pakistan are the worst home team currently (among top 9 nations). They haven't won a home Test since 2021.
 
The series against England will prove once again that Pakistan is probably the worst team at home. Much worse than any other minnow nation.
 
Batting paradise for visiting batters is Pakistan, thanks to substandard pitches and subpar Pakistani bowlers
