Since cricket returned to Pakistan, player performances have, for some reason, been worse than they were in the UAE. Interestingly, the pitches in the UAE seemed to suit Pakistani players more than those in Pakistan, and it's unclear why this is the case.

When they lost a few initial matches, it could have been attributed to adjusting to playing at home again against big teams. Initially, there might have been no real advantage, as neither team was accustomed to these pitches. However, it's been a while now, and the results haven't improved.
