I wonder if the ECB is annoyed with the PCB because of Shaheen, Naseem, Rauf and Mir getting picked for Hundred but couldn’t get a proper NOC to participate last year. Naseem didn’t play at all and Usama Mir had that issue with Usman Wahla not giving him an NOC for his county season.

This has to be something that is causing the unnecessary delay.

That might be playing a part and why not having them signed up by sides in the Hundred and then not giving them the NOC's really will put any sensible board off.

Event time – The event will start at 1.10pm PKT. Studio broadcast will start at 12.30pm PKT with the guests expected to arrive from 12pm PKT on the venue.

With the expected increase in IPL rejects because of the IPL and PSL happening together, PSL definately needs an additional two teams to accomodate an increase in foreign and diamond registrations.

PCB have pissed off a lot a boards behind the scenes with their shenanigans. It's not a surprise that nobody wants to build bridges with us

From what I understand with the English or gorey in general, they are very fair and reasonable dealing in most cases. There is no logical reason to allow a group of players to play IPL but not allow the rest to also play cricket abroad in the same time period.

It must have been because of PCB’s NOC policies post T20 World Cup and also how Usman Wahla was messing some of the other players around. Naseem picked up for £125k (top bracket) but wasn’t allowed to play in the Hundred. That’s got to have left a bad taste in the mouths of the organisers. They probably want to get their own back. This is fair I guess.
