Teams need such players that know how to bat properly.
Now when it comes to choosing babar or him, even if Babar is better, lane would be opted because he can inspire a dressing room, give his input. While someone like babar would just in the corner.
Plut being a proper athelete helps in the field aswell.
Williamson has demand
so 50 players go unsold and the blame is on rizbabar???? HOW????Credit goes to RizBar
They are the leaders of Pakistan Cricket and failed to develop a team which would play an exciting brand of cricket. The poor performances under them affected the brand of Pakistan Cricket. Right now, Afghanistan players are more on demand on leagues than the Pakistan players.so 50 players go unsold and the blame is on rizbabar???? HOW????
Who stopped Shaheen, haris or other bowlers to not getting selected??? They are performing like a minnow as well.. it is not just rizbabar. The whole core group has been mediocre. They are the leaders of Pakistan Cricket and failed to develop a team which would play an exciting brand of cricket. The poor performances under them affected the brand of Pakistan Cricket. Right now, Afghanistan players are more on demand on leagues than the Pakistan players.
They forgot that this is exactly what happened in IPL.Chickens coming home to roost after the Naseem Shah incident last year. PCB lack of professionalism will always come back to the bite them.
I will ask you once again, what exactly is Naseem's numbers and performance in T20? A 35 averaging T20 bowler? There are 300 better T20 bowlers than him.Bit weird, was it cause of some racist Indians?
Saim Ayub and Fakhar are good enough for this format and in the bowling department there is Naseem.
Anyways its there loss as there is a decent subcontinent market in UK that goes to watch these games so if they are not catered to well than.
Howevrr Moeen Ali was very brutally honest about Pakistani pacers being over rated
Because he is the youngest fastest bowler ever to play cricket.I will ask you once again, what exactly is Naseem's numbers and performance in T20? A 35 averaging T20 bowler? There are 300 better T20 bowlers than him.
Why is he there in the bowling department according to yo?
I love quoting Naseem's actual numbers any time his fans hype him. Heck even indian bad bowlers of the 90s didn't have this bad numbers. How long can someone be hyped based on just potential?Because he is the youngest fastest bowler ever to play cricket.

Have to get in here.I love quoting Naseem's actual numbers any time his fans hype him. Heck even indian bad bowlers of the 90s didn't have this bad numbers. How long can someone be hyped based on just potential?
He was been exactly same since debut, reminds me of Sami who was hyped up and then oohs and aahs when he beat the bat couple of times. Then his numbers remained the same throughout.
Naseem's T20 bowling economy is 8.02 in T20s which is also among the worst among international bowlersHave to get in here.
Sami was a freak talent - bowling 95mph plus is no joke. The issue with Sami was he like many Pak players was mentally not strong enough. Shortening his run up didn't help either. He could and should have achieved much more in white ball cricket/ODI cricket.
Naseem can be very economically which is crucial in T20 cricket, but again several issues here. after so many injuries and rushing back has resulted in where he is today. Unfit and even slightly overweight. These guys are amateurs, have no idea how to build fitness/stamina and ease back into International cricket.
Bit off topic here but for all of them, Babar, SSA, Naseem, Fakhar they should be playing 4 day cricket. Playing regular 4 day cricket will already solve many issues.
Naseem in the T20 WCs (the only T20s that actual matter) was very economical and gave Pak control with the new ball. Its unfortunate that for a long time now - he is not fit for Int cricket. his ODI numbers pre and post injury show that.Naseem's T20 bowling economy is 8.02 in T20s which is also among the worst among international bowlers
Afridi (7.7) is more economical than him despite being a better wicket taker with 21 average in T20s compared to Naseem's 35 average.
Those were on US pitches where average scores were 120. Even then US bowlers were more economical let alone indian bowlers.Naseem in the T20 WCs (the only T20s that actual matter) was very economical and gave Pak control with the new ball. Its unfortunate that for a long time now - he is not fit for Int cricket. his ODI numbers pre and post injury show that.
I am not comparing a bowler like Bumrah with Naseem, there is a difference there. I am saying when fit Naseem is very economical. In both WCs he has played (T20) his eco rate is around 6, which is good. Those were on US pitches where average scores were 120. Even then US bowlers were more economical let alone indian bowlers.
Bumrah had an economy of 4.1 despite bowling also on flat west indies pitches unlike Naseem. Amir had economy of 4.5. Naseem had an economy of 5.9.
Yeah Babar and Rizwan were overlooked 3 years in the Hundred because of Indian owners? The fact that last year Pakistan players played 100 and now ignored sums up Indian animosity.
What about other 48 players.... are they also babar and rizwan???Yeah Babar and Rizwan were overlooked 3 years in the Hundred because of Indian owners?
Lets stop this bro - blaming India 24/7The fact that last year Pakistan players played 100 and now ignored sums up Indian animosity.
Are the other 48 earning 6.5m rupees per month and allowed to have the team built around them???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????What about other 48 players.... are they also babar and rizwan???
Talk about hundred brother... what the other 48 players did not get selected??? Haris?? Shaheen, naseemAre the other 48 earning 6.5m rupees per month and allowed to have the team built around them???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Why were your top stars getting overlooked when Pakistan players did feature in the hundred in the previous years? Admit the truth!Talk about hundred brother... what the other 48 players did not get selected??? Haris?? Shaheen, naseem
Next step is to buy all the PSL franchises by Indian owners and not let a single Pakistani player play in it.
found this on X lol.
@Bhaijaan @cricketjoshila @Rajdeep @RyanRyan10 found this one on X lol..

Jee Bhaijaan.. Ap lage raho.. Hamein apna karne do.We should help make a better world. Remember greatness is in giving and not taking.
Jee Bhaijaan.. Ap lage raho.. Hamein apna karne do.
And @cricketjoshila can confirm but I don’t think any IPL owners have invested in Birmingham Phoenix
Looks like somebody is still in pain. That somebody being you.@RedwoodOriginal @Bhaag Viru Bhaag shouldn't this is good news for pakistan cricket. Directly or indirectly pakistan player's have chose Country over league cricket

The league has been burnt by player withdrawals before. Last season, Pakistan pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi pulled out, saying he wanted to spend more time with his family – before agreeing a deal to play in Canada's Global T20 which overlapped with The Hundred. As it happened, he was eventually denied a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) by the PCB, to participate there.![]()

Explained: Why no Pakistan players were signed in the Hundred 2025 draft
Is privatisation of The Hundred why Pakistan players weren't picked?
This season of The Hundred has seen a shift in the landscape, with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) inviting outside investment into the franchises. All eight franchises have been invested in – four of them by IPL owners.
The IPL has had a fractious relationship with Pakistan's players. After the Mumbai terror attacks of 2008, players from Pakistan have not been allowed to play in the league, although the likes of Wasim Akram and Ramiz Raja have taken up coaching and commentary roles respectively over the years.
All six teams in South Africa's SA20, which kicked off in 2023, are co-owned by IPL franchises, and not a single Pakistan player has been part of a squad in the league so far.
With IPL investment coming into The Hundred, there had been fears that an official or unofficial ban could be imposed on Pakistan's players here as well, leading ECB chair Richard Gould to assert last month that the participation of Pakistan players would not be affected. Suggestions of a 'soft' ban have only intensified after the draft.
The Hundred has not had overly strong Pakistan representation in its four seasons thus far. Usama Mir has played the most – 13 matches in 2023 & 2024 for Manchester Originals. Haris Rauf (12 matches), Imad Wasim (10), Mohammad Amir (6), Shaheen Shah Afridi (6), Mohammad Hasnain (5), Zaman Khan (5), Shadab Khan (3), Wahab Riaz (2) are all the others to have played in the league.
Pakistan international schedule clashing with The Hundred 2025
Despite the worrying signs, the reason for Pakistan's players having no takers this time around is more simple. There are strong availability concerns for them during the tournament.
Dates are yet to be confirmed, but according to the ICC's Future Tours Programme (FTP) for 2023-27, Pakistan are set to play a series of three ODIs and three T20Is in the West Indies from the last week of July to mid-August.
Immediately following that, a three-match T20I series has been pencilled in at home against Afghanistan before the Asia Cup starts in the second week of September. In addition, Pakistan are reportedly in talks with Bangladesh to organise a white-ball series for a window in July and August.
This season of The Hundred is set to run from August 5 to August 31, overlapping almost entirely with these two series. Understandably, franchises are unwilling to pick players who are likely to drop out if they are selected for the national team.
The league has been burnt by player withdrawals before. Last season, Pakistan pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi pulled out, saying he wanted to spend more time with his family – before agreeing a deal to play in Canada's Global T20 which overlapped with The Hundred. As it happened, he was eventually denied a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) by the PCB, to participate there.

I like to expose the hypocrisy of certain fan's.Looks like somebody is still in pain. That somebody being you.
Some of those players have been picked in the past but Babar & Rizwan were never picked. The duo has made Pakistan team boring to watch. It's not just about the results, but also their dull style of play, which fails to excite fans.Who stopped Shaheen, haris or other bowlers to not getting selected??? They are performing like a minnow as well.. it is not just rizbabar. The whole core group has been mediocre.
Nobody told Shaheen or haris to get smashed
Yeah as if boys have a choice…..Good for Pakistan cricket, Boyz remain focus on task at hand![]()
Rizwan and Babar are worth 10 Rashid Khans in terms of legacy and marketability. Some of those players have been picked in the past but Babar & Rizwan were never picked. While Rashid Khan has significantly contributed to enhancing the brand value of Afghan cricket, RizBar had have the opposite effect on Pakistan's cricket brand. Due to Rashid Khan's success, Afghan players get favoured in other leagues, while RizBar negatively impact opportunities of Pak players.
Rizwan and Babar are worth 10 Rashid Khans in terms of legacy and marketability.
No need to troll they aren't picking Pak players because Pak's international schedule clashes with the hundred.yes, leagues can't afford them.
I am not trolling. The Hundred franchises haven't been able to afford RizBar since it's inception but they could get other Pak players in the previous editions. No need to troll they aren't picking Pak players because Pak's international schedule clashes with the hundred.
As always you love twisting words. I was talking about Imam in ODIs.@gazza619 was right in this case. The teams that would sign Sharjeel and Asif will also sign Imam....
Well guess what, the teams that didn't sign Sharjeel and Asif also didn't sign Imam ul Haq.
Gazza is always spot on with his assessments!
What? You try to say that I want Sharjeel in everything and I want Asif Ali as the overall captain of Pakistan. I’m the one twisting things? As always you love twisting words. I was talking about Imam in ODIs.

I have no clue how the 100 draft works. But in IPL coach definitely plays a massive role. For instance punter exclusively focused on Australians. Stephen Fleming focused on New zealanders. No West Indian sounds very odd.
Sadly we are seeing the end of an era

yea.. taking 3.4 overs from T20 and in the end turns every over into a 5 ball over is comical at best.Personally speaking 100 is a despicable mockery of this game. T20 was a step towards modernising the game and taking it to masses. It actually worked like a charm but the moment IPL became too big these people went nuts and created T10 and 100 which were really unnecessary. Nobody talks about the ways in which the English tried to kill the game out of pure jealousy and frustration.
Sad to see the discrimination against Pakistani cricketers and at this point when they’re already down.
It is not discrimination, the English don't have an anti-Pakistan policy like BCCI. Pakistan players are just not good enough currently, this can be borne out by their terrible performances on the international stage.
I refuse to believe Shaheen, Babar, Saim, Haris aren’t good for a ridiculous abomination of a format for English conditions. They’re all class players.
I just named a few too ones only.
Shaheen's last minute withdrawal last season coudl have been the reason. Haris had a decent season looking at the stat. But seems like last season they had 4 overseas players. This season only 3 overseas players per team.I refuse to believe Shaheen, Babar, Saim, Haris aren’t good for a ridiculous abomination of a format for English conditions. They’re all class players.
I just named a few too ones only.
Shaheen could probably be very effective in English bowling conditions, but he is paying the price for terrible bowling on batting wickets. This is actually deserved, you should not get rewarded for a year of failure. Saim is still not fully established abroad, Babar not really a T20 specialist, and Rauf is as likely to lose you a game as win one. He bowls like a farm hand.
I have never seen anyone defend English cricket like you do,Again, presumably he's an almost certain to be playing in Pakistan's series that clash with the tournament.
I have never seen anyone defend English cricket like you do
Shaheen, Babar and Haris are pathetic players, proven time and again...I refuse to believe Shaheen, Babar, Saim, Haris aren’t good for a ridiculous abomination of a format for English conditions. They’re all class players.
I just named a few too ones only.
I think Pakistan is one team that is better served learning outside than inside lol.Pakistan players are available for domestics and Psl only. Isn't this what Pakistan posters wanted ?
So why did those 50 Pakistani cricketers register themselves knowing their international schedule? No need to troll they aren't picking Pak players because Pak's international schedule clashes with the hundred.
Nah, I post factual information, not regular made up nonsense.
Nah, I post factual information, not regular made up nonsense.
The stake in London Spirit has just been sold that puts it's total value at $366mn. For context according to reports last year that's triple the highest valued IPL franchise in CSK that was valued at $122mn.
Well said. But the problem of some guys is that why rizbabar did not get selected. That is the only hot topic here... windies are known for their t20 game but they got nothing... They are rizbabar too I guess...28 out of 28 Bangladesh players were also rejected. So Pakistan is not alone in this. 30 out of 30 West Indian palyers were also rejected. Just remmeber only 3 from 58 South Africans were picked.
