[PICTURES] Myth behind Mohammad Rizwan's excellent fitness

Isn't it funny how the most fittest guy in Pakistan is the one who ends up with the most cramps every game?

What a fit guy he is

I suppose Gill is not fit either considering he had to retire hurt from cramps.

Like I’ve been saying, cramping has very little to do with fitness - it’s more about hydration but it can happen to anyone in this kind of heat. Just because you have cramps does not mean that you’re not fit - Gill is supremely fit.

As much as I don't like rizzu, to his credit he is a gun keeper and is one of the fittest players we've had in years which is might impressive considering our cake boys have put on massive pounds.

Rizzu is Atheletic and a good keeper. And to his credit despite being a medicore bat, the guy does bash minnows well and even against quality bowling punches > his weight such as his knock vs India in 2021 and his being the best for Pakistan this cup.

Also in 10 days you switched from calling him one of the fittest player Pakistan has had in years to now making fun of his fitness and making fun of the idea that he is one of the fittest players we have. Pretty dramatic change in such a short time, I guess he must’ve gotten completely out of shape during those 10 days.

He is fit, Theirs nothing wrong with him. That's the point.

I'm making fun of the acting.

A fit guy who supposedly keeps getting injured 24/7 in every match?

As rizwan said, it's acting.

I suppose Gill is not fit either considering he had to retire hurt from cramps.

Gill walked off. Rizwan never walks off. Ever. That's the point.

He has to stay because there is no one after him - Gill knows the quality of batting behind him
Bhai he admitted to acting, who you fooling?

Rizwan doesn't trust saud shakeel or chacha? What a future leader.

To all you strawmanning me, I'll reiterate.

Rizwan is very fit. Extremely. That's the point. His daily every single match ouch ouch drama is beyond irritating.

Bhai he admitted to acting, who you fooling?

Rizwan doesn't trust saud shakeel or chacha? What a future leader.

I am not here to 'fool' anyone so watch what you write

He is leading from the front instead of running back to the pavilion

Clearly, what a hero. Brother if you like rizwan then that's fine.

But I stand firm and won't change my opinion. I don't need to watch what I write. I know exactly what to write and when to write.

Rizwan does not lead from the front. I wish we lived in a reality where he was the ultimate leader, the worlds no 1 wicket keeper and the ultimate beast of a player.

He isn't, he's not a leader from the front, he's a selfish medicore player who plays for himself, not for the team with the whole no opening and no 4 is my holy grail nonsense. He isn't humble, he isn't good, He is not a goat. The writing for him is very very clear.

Anyone who claims otherwise is fooling themselves if they aren't trying to fool me. Ik rizwan, ik babar, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that they play for themselves and are fooling the nation with occasional certain milestones that makes everyone have a dopamine rush.

Seriously’: Cricket legends blast ‘ridiculous’ scenes as Pakistan halt Test

Legends of the game couldn’t believe their eyes when play stopped on Day 3 of the Boxing Day Test between Australia and Pakistan for a bizarre reason.

Pakistan’s tail wagged thanks to Mohammad Rizwan (42) and Aamir Jamal (33 not out) as the tourists cut Australia’s lead to just 54

But as Rizwan dodged some short pitched bowling with his unusual ducking technique, he copped a ball to the back when he was unable to evade a Pat Cummins delivery.

In pain from the blow, Rizwan called for assistance and played stopped while he received treatment from the team physio and had a drink barely half an hour into the day’s play.

“Don’t quite know why you’d be bringing drinks out. Only been going 25 minutes,” Ian Smith said on Fox Cricket.

“One guy has honestly come out to give Rizwan a drink.

“All of a sudden we’ve got three attending the Pakistan batsmen. Now the Australians are coming out with a drink as well. 25 minutes have gone.

Cummins moved David Warner into a catching position at cover and Rizwan drove a full ball straight to Warner.

‘Embarrassing’: Pakistan a laughing stock
After recovering from 4/16 to 6/187 at stumps, the Aussies lead by 241 runs and are in a strong position after a top order collapse.

Australian great Mark Waugh was particularly frustrated that the umpires hadn’t told Rizwan to push through the pain and keep the game moving.

“That’s where the umpires have got to say, ‘No hang on’,” Waugh said.

“He’s worried about his back. That’s just part of batting isn’t it — wearing one on the back or the shoulder.

“What’s the physio going to do for the batsman who got a ball on his back? What can he possibly do for him? You’ve just got to say, ‘Nah, off. It’s part of the game’.

“He’s getting a little massage now. Seriously, he’s banged him on the back.

“You don’t stop the game for a ball hitting him in the back. Surely.

“We talk about over rates, entertainment, value for money. Like what did he do then the physio? It’s ridiculous.”

Former England captain Michael Vaughan said: “12 overs were lost yesterday. It just gets put to one side and no one bats an eyelid.”

Australia had the last laugh when Pat Cummins showed his tactical skill as a captain when he set the perfect trap for Rizwan.

Mitch Marsh (96) fell agonisingly short of his century but he continued his excellent form, combining with Steve Smith (50) to rescue Australia’s innings.

Marsh was given a life when Abdullah Shafique dropped a sitter of a catch at first slip that would have had Australia 5/46 if he held onto the catch.

Rizwan took a double or 3 and was signalling to the dug out. Then this 10 minute drink break happened. He used Jamal’s taking a body hit as an excuse to have a drink himself

If Rizwan keeps topping every run scoring list imaginable then nobody minds if he takes even half hour rest between each ball.

When you are the greatest wicketkeeper in the history of your country you are allowed to take a few liberties.

Plus it winds the haters up which is the best thing about it 🤣

The article is wrong. It was Jamal who got hit in the back

But it was Rizwan who called for a drink.

Absolute rabbit as a fielder for Pakistan

Like the look of him in the outfield.

Rizwan retired hurt when he couldn't improve his strike rate.

Keeps happening on a regular basis now. Sometimes it looks so blatantly obvious it's laughable.

Wonder how much money is bet on these shenanigans of his... :inti

Rizwan wins the “performance” award hands down every time. I mean acting performance award. He is selling what people are too eager to buy. It has happened too many times to not see see the pattern.

If this guy was on 35* off 28 balls having played some of the powerplay…he would power through and get his 50. That’s what he usually does with his cramps Drameybaazi

He realised he isn’t going to get a 50 today by the end of the innings that’s why today he didn’t even try

If his injury is serious & misses the series as well as the upcoming tournament, then either Usman Khan or Haseebullah Khan have been presented a golden opportunity to stake claims in the lineup.

Are you happy Haseebullah is in the mix?

@mominsaigol what do you recon? Why have they sent the reports to England?

Babar Azam on Rizwan injury during a pre match conference in Lahore:

"Whenever your main player gets injured you definitely miss him. The great services and the great performances that he (Rizwan) has rendered for Pakistan is before everyone of you. He is a fighter and always try to give his best in every field. It's (injury) not that bad but we are trying our best to preserve him. His rehab would be just two matches long and it will take place at NCA and he would be looked after fully before the T20 World Cup. Hopefully he will get fit before the Ireland tour. And we have had thorough discussions with the physio regarding his rehab. And he would be available for the team most probably even before the World Cup."

I always seen or heard whenever Rizwan coming to bat in the crease , he is getting serios cramp and than throw his bat and lay down in the ground. Is it what the strategy to kill the time or seriously he have problem with his knee?. This irritates most of the opposition bowler to delaying the proceeding, or it may cause slow over rate.

It’s being reported online that Rizwan failed the PCB fitness test twice in a month. Would request it this news can be officially verified

PCB with strict fitness rules but this guy has the Tests overlooked for him and is made captain!

Bro I got my legs cramped once and when I was asked to put myself in this same stretching pose I was screaming non stop until the pain finally subsided and my body regulated blood flow again.

Rizwan looks peaceful 🤣🤣🤣, almost as if he's happy to be cramped
