Something not right with this.
Seems like yet another mess-up and botched job by the PCB medics.
What happened to him. We need his control in the white ball game
The PSL happened to him.
Can you explain?
Became a 4 over specialist.
Fitness suffered, injuries, poor treatment and rehab.
His injury was a trauma injury though. He was fielding and fell weirdly and tore ligaments in his knee.
Treatment and rehab messed up by PCB again.
Yea just blame everything on pcb and coaches!
Its time players took responsibility for themselves and instead on relying everything on pcb and coaches

He's a cricketer, not a doctor. The PCB doctor's and physios are responsible for thee recovery of players. Yes if there is the odd case of a player not recovering then you can say the individual didn't put enough effort into the exercises and routine they were advised with, but the fact that so many players injuries turn worse after seeing PCB medics indicates there is something wrong with the medics themselves.
Again blame PCB, the players should seek independent advice from other doctors.
If i suffer a injury, i will not just rely on my employers doctors.
Even before i get injured, i will put effort into strength and fitness training to limit my injury.
If something is not working with my employers doctors advice, than i will raise issues with this.
The PCB doctors should be the best sports doctors in the country, that's what the players think, eventually some players go to other doctors once the PCB medics have messed up.
Ofcourse the players strengthen to limit injury, but the reality of fast bowling is that even if you are the fittest man on Earth, you will still get injured at some point. Apparently a pace bowler bowling at 130kph has the same amount of force go trhough him as a minor car crash, every single ball.
When I got a back injury I was refferred to a sports doctor that works with many cricketers and is associated with Auckland cricket and other sporting codes, and as expected he was very good as the top sporting bodies will want to have the best people for the job to treat their players. The players in Pakistan expect the same from the PCB and find out the reality when their recovery has been ruined.
If the players are breaking down, is there evidence that the advice given was not up to standards?
All fast bowlers break down at some point, and many breakdown multiple times. The worrying thing is that the PCB medics, sports medicine professionals who should be the best in the country, aren't doing their job well. Either they are diagnosing wrong, or they are rushing the players back in, or are taking too long in which case the player might take it upon himself to recover quickly and make it worse.
Again blame PCB, the players should seek independent advice from other doctors.

The PCB medics stop the players from seeking outside help, yet don't get the treatment done correctly themselves.
How do PCB medics stop the players? Are the bound in their contracts that they can not seek outside advice or choose their own medics etc ? if they have no faith in the doctors that they are assigned?
Again players to blame because the players should revolt and take a hard line.
Life is not fair, never is and never was or will be. You just can't blame people.
I have heard Rumman Raees have also concentrated on his batting. So we might see some hitting from him this time as well
is he still in United?
he is really awful. Very mediocre. The trundler of highest level. He has zero skills with the ball.
