We didn't get to see Sachin bat live at a very young age, so God sent Vaibhav Sooryavanshi into this world. Crazy domination.

These are 90 to 100 meter sixesHave seen many an aggressive batters but nothing as outlandish as Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. Some of the shots he plays are absolutely ridiculous, and on deliveries that have no business going over the ropes. Insanely talented. A freak

Even if he is 20, what he is doing is ridiculous. And its not as if he is only bashing U19 bowlers, he has done the same at almost every level he has played. Freakish talent.Him being 14 is a joke. he is definetly 19-20. Still a freak talent.
A true inheritor of Lala’s legacy. His age is the stuff of legend; known only to the creator, not mere mortals like us.Him being 14 is a joke. he is definetly 19-20. Still a freak talent.

That baby face is not of a 20 year old. Still carrying baby fat.Him being 14 is a joke. he is definetly 19-20. Still a freak talent.

Perhaps not quite yet. Maybe hone his skills a bit more. He will do that this IPL season. Also needs to get himself toned and fit. Perhaps by end of the year, or early next year. He should be ready.Someone this progidiously talented should be given a shot at international. No point treating him with kid gloves. Hhe is a step ahead of his peers at this level and will not gain much by continuing to play. Should be treated as a senior player in IPL this season and handed an international debut asap.
What is there left to hone?Perhaps not quite yet. Maybe hone his skills a bit more. He will do that this IPL season. Also needs to get himself toned and fit. Perhaps by end of the year, or early next year. He should be ready.
I am sure BCCI will handle him well.
I somewhat agree. Not much left to hone. But there is a bit left hone. On and off the field. Perhaps more off the field. On how to approach his batting, mental toughness, reading match situations etc. What is there left to hone?
He has smashed a century in IPL already.
That's a good point. The mental toughness factor. He will not be a big fish in a small pond, but a small fish with a lot of extra attention. You are right it will require some management.I somewhat agree. Not much left to hone. But there is a bit left hone. On and off the field. Perhaps more off the field. On how to approach his batting, mental toughness, reading match situations etc.
He will be with the big boys. Ain't going to be easy. Big boys are big boys, they will work him over.
I think he will get a chance after the World T20, we will play a T20 series against Afghanistan (3T20 in September) , where he can get a chance to debut.Someone this progidiously talented should be given a shot at international. No point treating him with kid gloves. Hhe is a step ahead of his peers at this level and will not gain much by continuing to play. Should be treated as a senior player in IPL this season and handed an international debut asap.
As I said, he is too talented to play under 19 level cricket. He is extremely talented to the point that he has lost interest in u19 cricket, he needs to play the big boy game.
Taken 3.5 years ago, and some clowns still have the nerve to call him 17-18.
