[PICTURES] Vaibhav Suryavanshi: The youngest cricketer ever to be chosen to play in the IPL

You are seriously clutching at straw here. Not me. lol Age fudging is a term applicable only when he violates in an age group game. Not anywhere. What is next. Arrest actress for lying about their age? If Mohammad shami says he is 27 you are going to ban him? You can't. He is not violating anything here. Examples have been set before for actual violation.
Are you seriously comparing someone in the entertainment industry to someone training to be a professional cricketer?

Also, you don't know his real age so you can't say for sure if he hasn't violated the rule before in age group cricket.

All you've done so far is resort to whataboutism and drawn weird analogies that make no sense. You should instead be condemning the principle, because it's wrong. One kid should not be having an undue advantage over others. Even one year makes a huge difference in age-group cricket. Anyone who lies about their real age... starting from age group cricket should be banned. Consequences are meant to deter behavior, not morally condemn the child. After all, this is a sport, not some dog and pony show.

If you apply that yardstick Pakistan team will stop playing cricket. Saw 15 year old farhan shaibzada. looked like 21 year old which would make him now 36. Only country that actually that does these testing is India. Whataboutism has to come from you. Not from me. But i have to remind you biggest age fudging country by light years is Pakistan. You are their fan. I don't see you calling for ban of Ali Raza and others. Ofcourse i will use whataboutism when you can't see the mirror.

You forgot Afghanistan

Suryavnshi failed against SA u19. India won on DLS. Wicket keeper pangallia another promising youngster made 94. He didn't play in Asia cup in most games. Also Ambarish who missed out in Asia cup made 65. This batch has a lot of potential than 2024 batch.

By “rest of us” you mean delusional Pak fans.

Comments about sleep etc don’t really work here considering the last 3 humiliating thrashings we dished out in September.
Spoken like a true coward who doesn't have a brains to form a coherent argument and has to resort to semantics/bringing up things that have nothing to do with the topic of the thread

Last I checked the thread was about Suryavanshi, not Pakistan/Afghanistan/Ali Raza/Sahibzada Farhan and actresses in the entertainment industry who lie about their age. Those are just some of the flimsy excuses you have concocted to defend your strawman arguments. The least you could do at this point is admit that you have resorted to whataboutism for the most part.

Also, you should try to actually understand what I'm saying before you start thinking of ways to make weird excuses. I never said Suryavanshi should be banned. I said in the future BCCI should make their rules about age-fudging more stringent so people are not allowed to lie about it and play in age-groups they should not be a part of. For a board that has talked so much about this issue and banned players for the offence it's a bit weird how certain players are still able to slip through the cracks by lying about their age.

No it is not about suryavanshi anymore lol This is your statement

"One kid should not be having an undue advantage over others. Even one year makes a huge difference in age-group cricket. He doesn't have any undue advantage as you say. He is playing the right age group. Not under-12 age group.

How the heck anyone can ban a player for age? This is not about suryavnshi. This is about simple logic. If Steve smith says i am 15 you think Australia will ban him? lol You are not applying for citizenship. Your age matters only in age group game. People make fun of olde rguys pretending to be younger guys. That is all you can do. You can't ban people for age. Because senior levle has no age limit.

Exactly. It's fairly obvious that I was talking about the future considering the fact that I didn't say that Suryavanshi should be banned. If you have trouble reading then that's your problem, not mine. Also, who's to say that someone who is 16 won't abuse this rule in the future by claiming that they are 15? Who's to say that someone who is 13 won't abuse the rule and claim they are 12? You can't even see the obvious logical holes in your own argument..

It matters only at age group level. At senior level if you fake age just for keeping your selection chance easier it will be shown up on the ground like it did for waqar younis. I still don't understand the "advantages" a 13 year old pretending as 12 year get. Practically nothing. Only two age groups represent India. Under-19 and Senior. If you violate under-19 you are finished. Your career is done. BCCI has been clear about that. ALl the other outliers don't really violate any law. If Suryavanshi plays under-19 world cup in 2030 then we are talking

Did you come up with a logical argument to explain why you think he fudged his age?

Stop pretending to be a rational poster, you have been ranting continuously against a 14 year old kid without any supporting facts.

Tbh, I really wouldn’t have slept post those three humiliating thrashings, we challenged your team both on the field and politically and then tore your clothes apart.

@RedwoodOriginal this appears to be Suryavanshi’s 14 year old mate

Vaibhav Suryavanshi Breaks World Record Even Before Facing First Ball Against South Africa U-19

Indian youngster Vaibhav Suryavanshi inked another world record during the first youth ODI between India Under-19 and South Africa Under-19 at the Willowmoore Park in Benoni. The 14-year-old set a world record, surpassing a Pakistan cricketer while captaining the national side at any level.

Suryavanshi was named captain of the team as both regular captain Ayush Mhatre and vice-captain Vihaan Malhotra missed out due to injuries. The duo is expected to return to the squad for the Under-19 World Cup, and so Suryvanshi is playing as a stand-in captain for now.

Suryavanshi surpasses Ahmed Shehzad

The Indian teenager inked a world record, becoming the youngest-ever player to lead a team in a youth ODI. He is also the first player across the globe to lead his side in an international U19 game in any format before completing the age of 16.

Pakistan star Ahmed Shehzad held the record previously, captaining Pakistan’s U-19 team against Australia in Brisbane in 2007. The list also includes

Player Age (at youngest instance of them leading their U19 national team in a youth ODI) Opponent Venue Years

Vaibhav Suryavanshi 14 Years, 282 Days South Africa Benoni 2025

Ahmed Shehzad 15 Years, 141 Days Australia Brisbane 2007

Mehidy Hasan Miraz 15 Years, 284 Days Pakistan Loughborough 2013

Farhan Zakhil 15 Years, 302 Days South Africa Thiruvananthapuram 2019

Ambitious Muduma 15 Years, 351 Days South Africa Harare 2025

JL McPhee (Australia), DR Madena (Sri Lanka), DLT Mills (New Zealand), NS Richards (Canada), JJ Tau (Papua New Guinea), D Viljoen (Namibia), and J West (Ireland) have also led the youth teams but their age was not recorded at the time of captaincy.

Suryavanshi’s achievements

He is also the youngest player to lead the team in any format of international cricket at the U19 level. Pakistan's Saad Baig is the youngest to lead the country in a youth Test (16 years, 3 days) and youth T20Is (16 years, 215 days).

The previous youngest player to lead India in a youth ODI was Abhishek Sharma. He captained the junior side at age 16 years, 105 days against South Africa in 2016. Tanmay Srivastava, Aryan Jurel, and Parthiv Patel are the only other players to captain the Indian side before turning 17 in any format.

Vaibhav has broken multiple records, including being the player with the most sixes in Youth ODIs. Also, he became the youngest centurion in both Test and ODI cricket at the U19 level. Vaibhav currently plays for Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Yeah, he's definitely 14, you're a rational and sane posters, India humiliated Pakistan politically after losing six planes, and pigs can fly.

Whatever you’re smoking must be the good stuff, because reality never stood a chance.
