Ok, I am not too sure but i am hearing some disturbing news coming out of the practice sessions at the moment.

Allegedly Wahab and Yasir got into a heated argument playing football  Micky had to send both of them out of the training session........

On the eve of practically the biggest test both have ever played we are doing this over FREAKING FOOTBALL :69: :69: :69:

Wahab Riaz, Yasir Shah scuffle during net practice

BRISBANE: Leg-spinner Yasir Shah and fast bowler Wahab Riaz were got into a scuffle with each other during net practice on Wednesday, one day before Pakistan clash against Australia in the first Test match.

According to sources, things got serious while the two cricketers were playing football. Both cricketers were involved in a dispute which got physical before other players broke up the fight.

So far the team management has not responded to any queries regarding the incident or addressed it altogether.

Pakistan will play their first Test match of the tour against Australia on Thursday.

Imagine if Yasir reinjured his back cause of a fight in practice. :murali

And then we think what is wrong with pak as a nation as and as cricket team, when we think we have found each and every way of humiliating ourselves we still somehow yet another way, disgusting stuff to say the least no matter who initiated it and for whatever cause.

Nothing wrong with this at all.

You want your team to be getting more and more tense and wound up on the eve of the match. Plenty of football coaches goad their players into this.

And reading between the lines, if Yasir Shah's back is good enough to play football, then he's obviously in the team.

Sick of Wahab Riaz thinking of himself as a much bigger player than he really is. On merit alone he would barely make Pakistan A team.

Unless there's more to the story then I don't really care, the two of them will be fine by now.

wahab bowls much better when he is wound up.

He certainly does.

I've just watched "Inside Cricket" on Aussie TV.

Allan Border, Stuart Clark and Mark Waugh focused on Mohammad Amir but have a perception of Wahab as a bit faster than he actually is.

They didn't think much of the Pakistan batsmen though. And the Aussies have been practising bowling at water cylinders on the top of a pole, practising peppering Pakistan with bouncers.

Why is Wahab getting into a fight with the second best football player in the world

From what i am hearing one went in with both studs showing, it was late and high. There is history between the two, adding to the already explosive Argentina- Brazil rivalry.

I thought Inzi and arthur said we wont compromise on discipline thats why shehzad and junior akmal are out from the team...

These things happen a lot in sport. They probably shook hands at the end of the day and it's already forgotten about.

Not the first time Pakistani players are at each others throats...

The Inzamam and Younis Khan incident.... then the Afridi wanting to beat up Younis Khan one in the West indies.

"The three players apparently got into an altercation when Afridi showed his displeasure at being asked to open the batting by Younis in Pakistan's first innings. Inzamam then joined in the argument and supposedly exchanged heated words with Younis before the other players intervened."

Then the infamous Akhtar smacking Mohammed Asif with a bat incident.... Of which he originally intended to beat up Afridi.

"According to sources, the two were allegedly involved in a dressing-room spat which resulted in Asif being struck by a bat on his left thigh. "

"Shoaib Akhtar has blamed Pakistan allrounder Shahid Afridi for the spat that led to him hitting fast bowler Mohammad Asif with a bat during Pakistan's build-up to the ICC World Twenty20 in South Africa. On his return home today after being thrown out of the squad, Shoaib apologised for his actions and said the matter should have stayed in the dressing room."

Shoaib, who has been handed an indefinite ban for the scuffle two days ago, said he didn't mean to hit Asif, whom he described as a younger brother. "I apologised to Asif and he forgave me but another team-mate, Afridi, took the matter further and it forced the management to send me back," Shoaib said.

"The incident began with a verbal spat between me and Afridi, who used foul language," Shoaib said, "and Asif intervened and in anger I hit Asif with a bat."

"Afridi said things about my family which I could not tolerate. He made comments that cannot be called jokes. I am sorry for what happened and it should not have happened. I request the authorities not to ban me for a lengthy period. I want to play for my country and talk of a life ban or lengthy ban is worrying."

Nonstop action... pure entertainment....

Lets see who picks up more wickets here in Aussie land. Keep those coming boys :rp

You can always trust Junaids to see a silver lining from Pakistan's perspective

Looks like they patched up.

Just wait until Misbah retires.

This will happen every other day.

Bilal7 for India is the opposite of what Junaids is for Pakistan.

Hahahahah mateee I love your posts.

And sometimes one can't even be sure if you're being sarcastic or for real. :srini

I enjoy a spot of high class trolling, but I'm serious here!

Remember during the NZ Tests I said that they were just the warm-up for this series? Well Neil Wagner has given everyone a 130K examination of their technique against short balls and now Starc will do it at 145K.

The Pakistanis need to be pumped up, but also alert enough not to just do stupid Rizwan/Misbah style hooks and hoicks.

Poor behaviour from these two.I know stuff like this happens in the heat of the moment but the Aussie media will be at our throats.Anyways looks like the matter has been patched up now.

HAHHAHA.

The video looks so fake and 'forced'. :srini

Yeah, obviously they won't become enemies of each other. But after the fight they would have 'ghussa' on each other for some time.

Will eventually go away, maybe during the match.

Lol such a non-issue. Just two highly competitive guys, stuff like this happens. No big deal.

These things are bound to happen in any group that spends so much time together.

As Wahab said, make 'dua' for them if you are a Pak supporter.

And the matter has been resolved.

Quite funny how Asif fans, Shehzadians and Akmalistas are immediately jumping on this to scream "DISCIPLINE ISSUES !" - this is nothing compared to the crap they've pulled time and again but whatever helps the fan clubs sleep at night.

all those posters critisizing this

Anyone who has played football or competitive sports will understand that these things happen, so there is no biggie. Poor stuff from media

Things like these happen all the time. They're mates and don't tell me you guys haven't gotten into spats while playing sports with your buddies before.

A non-issue that is being blown out of proportion.

That video made it seem like Micky Arthur was on the edge of the bed, holding a kitten, making slit-throat gestures to the players!

Yasir should have make a blow to Wahab's wrist during that fight, his wrist position during bowling would have been corrected then. And Wahab to Yasir's back, so that his back injury would have gone. It's called manipulation therapy.I think Micky was trying this .

If the camera had moved a little bit left, we would have seen micky holding a double barrel pointing at their temples.

Who do you think was holding the camera with a gun in his other hand :ma

Over the top reaction by people here. There's no big deal getting into altercations while playing it's part of the game. I would like to see this aggression against Australia.

This type of stuff is good for us, need to be wound up before the Tests so we can really cause some havoc to the Aus batting lineup, need to be fired up for this series as the Aussie cricketers won't be afraid to sledge us.

Cant wait for this series. i think we may have a better chance in the next few tests and I have a feeling some young lullo aussie is gonna do something against us. It always happens. But I really hope we are competitive. The NZ series really was a bit of an ambush for me...but on we go..

Made me chuckle, that. I think again a non issue is being blown out of proportion in Pak cricket. What happened between Asif and Shoaib in SA was a serious incident, this is normal I reckon.

Both should be dropped for the first test.

If it was Shahzad or Akmal, we know what the reaction would be like.

They've sorted it out, so it's all good.

Also Mamoon I think that's Sohail Khan, and not YK.

Yeah I was wondering if these guys have never played football with friends. Some guy will be too into it, will push around, others will get angry. After the game everything is forgotten

I know it's a non-issue, but it can't be Yasir's fault. He's too innocent. Wahab is getting older now. Should calm down a bit. No excuses.

As anyone with a wife/girlfriend knows, you never go to bed angry so I'm glad they've both sorted it out without one of them having to sleep on the sofa and subsequently missing the game with a stiff back.
