Cant take this seriosuly when you have azhar ali over fakhar zaman. A proven failure in odis who plays like a snail and is not up to the necessary standards of 2017 ODI cricket over an aggressive attacking left hande opener with an excellent donestic record and proven performances in PSL and good start to internatina cricket? Mak avsolutley zero sense.

Perhaps if u could justify this i would understand what our selectors are thinking when they make these evidently completely illogical decisions?

This innings by Faheem was no fluke
Clean hitting and striking of a ball throughout his innings
None of the sixes were on the short size of the boundary

His hitting reminded me of Wasim Akram, in that a lot of his big shots were straight down the ground.

Hia batting cannot be judged like that.

So you sat behind a keyboard, not even at the ground, without any highlights could tell where he hit those sixes.

Bowling is the bigger issue. I don't think he can play as the 3rd pacemen which means either Imad or Shadab get dropped or we play one less batsmen. I would open with Sarfaraz and play one less batsmen but our guys ain't bold enough to do that.

I don't see any place for hafeez in the team. fahim should replace him. hafeez toothless bowling is n't going to work against big teams and his batting is certified failure.

Yes we would have to rely on Imad to play well with the bat but he was excellent last time out in English conditions. Also Shehzad, Hafeez and Azhar are not in the team with this combination which is a major plus.

Want to see him bat and bowl before judging him.

In an article about his innings, the writer did mention that none of sixes were over that boundary and he mostly hit straight; so, he did not even target that boundary especially since BD bowlers didn't bowl any balls to be hit on that end as well
