[PICTURES/VIDEO] Pakistan's new 2019 World Cup kit revealed by the PCB

Love the camaraderie between this team. If only they could win a few!

Very, very good. I prefer this to the much loved 2011 World Cup kit which I find to be very overrated.

AJ Sports effed up big time. How did this kit get approved?

Better look: https://ibb.co/FqqcZdW

The stitch job joining the two pieces of fabric together is clearly visible and that zipper divide turns it into three different parts, making the jersey look laughably bad, even if the zipper part is ignored, the jersey looks horrendous as a whole.

Can't understand whose mockery this thread is struggling to make, Is it the jersey? or the thread itself.

Got to admit it looked better in pictures, but still a lot better than the current one design wise. Won't go into the tiny miny details.

It's not a tiny detail mate, shirt legit looks like two pieces of cloth were torn then sewn together, have a good look at the link provided. The cap however is spectacular, the jersey will make players the butt of jokes during world cup.

Agreed. Didn’t like the random moon and star. It was a horrendous kit.

Fat people , like sarfaraz, should not wear horizontal striped tops because it makes them look fatter. If fat people want to wear striped tops they should wear vertical striped tops.
As far as the kit itself , to be honest i love all pak kits from 1992 to this one. I have to say, however, from all the detailed inspection of this kit, pakpassion sure seems to have alot of fashion divas as members.

Love the simplicity and the colours of the kit however it could be vastly improved by not having that stitching in between, it should be one piece, like the 2011 kit. In terms of quality the boom boom one was the most superior Pak shirt I've ever owned.

Good kit but not as good as our last two world cup kit's those ones were amazing 11 and 15 kits were just amazing. This one's pretty good as well, huge step up from our previous kit which barely looked green. Love when we bring out this dark shade of green. We should only play with either this shade of dark Pakistani Flag type green as we have here and had in CWC 11 or bright green like we had in the CT, CWC 99 and CWC 15.

Some trousers have star logo on right thigh front and some have star logo on left thigh front.

What is this ? Why ?

The kit maker whats their logo visible most of the time. So it looks like it is based on batting hand. the Lefties have it so that the AJ logo is visible when batting, same for the righties.

Are very clever! I thought some of the players put their pyjamas on the wrong way round, lol!

Man when you look at pakistan cricket players they either look like malnourished or average joes. Not a single athletic person in the team.

If i was a pak kid i wouldn't aspire to be any one of these crickets.

Hopefully the next gen are of a diff caliber

We wore the infamous water melon kit in 2015, prolly one of if not the worst kit we ever wore.

Then at least Shoaib Malik has it wrong way round. Senior Most :)

Hey, some of the best players ever to play the game were, how can i put this politely, rotund e.g. shane warne, ian botham and our very own inzi, just to name a few.

Not bad , would not have taken more than ten minutes to design though. Throw in a few shades of green in stripes and put name Pakistan on it.

99 still remains our best kit. This is a very plain design.

Agree, a design that would most likely have taken no more then 10-15 minutes and honour might have been given to someone’s lucky kid - and while not expecting the Pakistan cricket shirt to be designed to look as classy and with the same quality fabric as t-shirts for Barcelona or Manchester United football teams, but what’s surprising is even domestic T20 cricket teams in IPL, England and Big Bash leagues have bettered designed kits.

Not complaining though , because if they perform to their best in the World Cup then any green T-shirt with the word Pakistan will do and prove to be memorable...

Couldn't agree more and none of them look like star material we had in the late 90s//early 2000s. Nearly all of them are meek individuals.

The next gen won't be of different calibre if PCB doesn't diversify the source of their talent pool. Opting for Sarfraz as captain epitomises the downfall of Pakistan cricket.

looks soothing and stylish to the eye....good on pak...as an indian i wish our kit was changed...bit tired of the same light blue....i liked the purple ones of 2009 with the flag colours as a stripe....

Not the best of shirts really is it.

Looks pretty simple to me and doesn't really compare with some of the best shirts over the years.

Fabric joints look poor as if they've been rushed.

I found them on eBay today half sleeve (uk) and got one ready for the world cup! :D

By the way, Nike was the supplier for Peshawar Zalmi's kit.

Not true. Peshawar Zalmi has its own clothing brand in the UAE and in a couple of other places as well.

Anyway, Nike would never supply kits to a team without stamping its logo and making money out of it. Besides, there is no official Nike in Pakistan - the various stores across the country are resellers just like how there are Apple resellers in Pakistan.

The new look team shirt carries the same colour theme as of previous editions – Yellow and Blue – but there is a slight change in the designs and use of Dri-FIT fabric, designed by Nike.

^ Clothing brand doesnt means they manufacture their own stuff. Nike is a shadow supplier. And yes, i am aware "Speed" is responsible for reselling Nike, Charles & Keith and Pedro in Pakistan.

Nike does have a big manufacturing setup in Pakistan.

I loved them on the first look but now it does look like they did a poor job with the front fabric joints.

That bit looks really odd.

Fan of the design though!

A champions trophy winning team going into a world cup and still unable to secure a world leading kit maker.

This has to be a first. Sack the marketing team in PCB.

the 2015 kit was one of the worst Pakistan kits I've seen in my life.

Honestly does anybody actually like the 1992 kit for it's design or is it just for the nostalgic value it holds?

design, its the only pak kit i own. timeless and simple, never looks old. only one that comes near it is 99.

only other pak paraphernalia i have is a floppy test cap, none of the modern kits have done it for me, altho this looks acceptably understated, especially compared to the technicolor eye sore that was the wc 15 kit.

hi saj , from where i can purchase the kit? can you please recommend any store for authentic kit ?

Looks good on the field, bit average on its own, but players are rocking it.

Definitely better than 2015, 2007 editions.

Fans always find it incredibly hard to purchase these jerseys. This is a major fail on the PCB marketing team’s fault. It’s something Waseem Khan can easily address. All major teams have their own official stores both brick and mortar as well as online. It’s a guaranteed cash stream.

Shirts dont have to be fancy to be good. Simple shirts can be good too, and this one is.

Good to see Mohammad Amir back in the Pakistani colours, especially in this lovely kit.

Mohammed Amir doesn’t look as skinny as usual, must have eaten alot of Protein’s in form of chicken of late.

Nothing creative about it.On the contrary the it looks like a sloppy stitching effort on the first look.

But it is growing on me and looks nearly good after donning it.

Did anyone else notice that the shirt images on the AJ website, and on the PP wallpaper, showes the entire front as one fabric whereas the shirts the players are wearing has the front panel stitched separately?

The images look much better. I wonder why the discrepancy. The stitching looks really bad!

The Aj photo isn’t accurate. The shirt does have the stitching. Still at work but this arrived today

That's so unprofessional! Obviously the image version is what it should've been but they mucked it up for some reason. Hating that stitch line!

I know man it’s like they rushed it it was such a nice kit that stitching makes it look like it’s from some cheap darzi in meena bazaar

Overall i think the kit is great and this is a recent first that AJ is selling the player edition. The fit is fairly accurate, possibly slightly small. I wear a 34” suit jacket and the small
shirt which is designed for 35-36” chest fits snugly. Any smaller and it would be too tight.

That size is Pakistani size I believe because there small is xtra small for me so I would have to go for medium

I think this kit has proven to be extremely popular. Looked great on the field. Really hope they keep it till the world T20 at least.
