He is not even in the same galaxy.

Hey where did you go?? Get right back here and explain why you advocate for some Tulla baaz domestic bully when most of us sitting abroad don’t get to watch Pakistan domestic cricket and even international matches based on time difference. We can’t possibly comment until we see some televised matches. You regularly talk down babar and Rizwan and when that doesn’t work you turn to misbah. None of this is ever on topic. Babar is fine, lacking in a bit of form. Rizwan is fine that’s another thread. (Just fine nothing more). Both shouldn’t play t20 any longer its a game for new players to find their feet.Bro if the criteria is 30 then it has to be fair?
This is my issue with pcb and what Babar fans ignore. You cannot just pick and choose.
This isn't wwe which is scripted and you can make someone the marketable face of said company and give them scripted wins.
This is a real life sport and the selection criteria has to be fair to everyone but it is not.
Shan masood being captain, Babar, Shaheen and rizwan frequently in the test squad depaite never playing fc red ball and many selections convientally being from SNGPL like Abdullah shafique who barely had any experience before he got drafted not only in test but as Pakiatan's priemere world cup opener as well as Saud shakeel another sngpl representative clearly shows the bias.
And it also shows the quality. I advocated so much for Abdullah and saud in past comments but their lack of work ethic and in abduallah's case his lack of List A and Fc games are clearly showing his inability to play cricket.
Same with Babar who doesn't have the fitness to last even a session and shaheen who doesn't have the fitness to even bowl 5 overs.
Misbah, Ramiz and others are to blame and when a player who is hard working and a domestic topper and is a fitness freak shows up and embrasses the so called King of Pakistan, Misbah and ramiz will be brought up.
They gotta be held accountable for such rubbish.
Yeah I ain't reading all of this. Shorten it please.Hey where did you go?? This thread was about KG. Let’s stick to him. You have probably seen KG bat in domestic and seen some pretty good shots. He’s certainly capable but there is a world of difference between Pak domestic and international test level especially in SENA.
Allow me to explain please. The ball at 80mph travels at you in less than a second.at 85-90mph it’s even less time. In that time you have to decide if it’s a front foot or back foot shot, your head position has to be still to pick up the line and your trigger movements have to be perfect. The ball will drift in the air, hit the seam and then move more, in or out. You have to time the ball correctly to hit the middle of the bat, not play uppish and be aware of the gaps. You have to watch the bowler, the ball and be aware of what the pitch is doing. You have to do this ball after ball over after over session by session. But only one good ball would beat you and a few innings like that and you go back to domestic shining shoes. It’s a tough world. 99% don’t make it.
It’s not easy. But before you get a measure of all this you have to actually be out there to get a measure of your environment and match situation. KG has been given an opportunity. It won’t knock twice. He has a long long way to go and will be tested day in day out in different conditions against bowlers that don’t want him there. Either they want him out or they want him knocked out. It’s the same effect.
This KG that you think is better than Babar (and by extension the best in the country that we’ve all seen) has some serious flaws. I won’t compare him to Babar that would be a disservice.
Suffice to argue… Does KG belong at international level? He certainly looks like a bowler who graduated himself to batting. He plays premeditated uppish shots that he is fortunate to evade fielders most of the time. The way he was set up by Rabada today was just elementary. Out swing, out swing, out swing then bring the ball in. He can’t pick up bowlers from the hand.
Don’t get me wrong I think he deserves his spot. Especially after the England test but the hallmark of that innings was the slow patient singles. He hasn’t shown the ability to replicate that. Many batters are not quite at international level when they start but need to be trusted if they show an appetite for learning and development in the cauldron of test cricket. But he will have to learn temperament and patience. Fencing style “wait” “no” to his partner is not polite. These are international players they don’t need bats pointed at them. A loud shout is ok. He’s a newbie he doesn’t need to mouth off at opposition. Since he did that he can’t score a genuine run. Flicks and edges don’t count. He’s mentally not right.
He will score heavily in Pak domestic and on slow pitches but since his debut he is making the mistake of trying to dominate too quickly with hard hands and a crooked bat that comes down at an angle. Nobody cares for a quick 30 or 40. Shan has nearly 40 of those kind of scores and still looks bad.
If KG wants to keep his spot he’s got to play straight, leave balls more often (obviously not straight ones like today ) he’s got to keep his mouth closed and eyes open (unlike today) he’s got to recognise that at no 3 if he keeps slashing he will burn. Right now he’s on probation. Other players have made big scores (abdullah made 200, Khurram manzoor made 146) they were dropped. How you make runs is as important as the amount you make. You must show mental application and patience. Bringing a limited overs game into test cricket is ill advised. There are different demands. He has to adjust quick.
Next time we will discuss what’s wrong with Rizwan.
Yeah I ain't reading all of this. Shorten it please.
There is no rush. Take your time but think before you write about KG.Yeah I ain't reading all of this. Shorten it please.
