I have no idea why Mohammad Haris always gets to captain A side or Shaheens. The guy is a very limited cricketer in long formats of the game, can be a decent T20 player but to captain every side is beyond me. From the list of players above Haseebullah and Qasim Akram have got captaincy experience under their belt so why not them.

They have not picked enough batting. Yasir Khan and Haseebullah in T20s?? Saim Ayub and Azam Khan should be in this too.

Serious parchi this guy. Haven't seen him score a run in a couple of years

Muhammed Haris
Yasir Khan
Omair Bin Yousuf
Haider Ali
Qasim Akram
Abdul Samad
Arafat Minhas
Ahmed Daniyal
Abbas Afridi
Sufyaan Muqim
Zaman Khan

Looks to be a strong squad. Probably could have picked a guy with lesser international experience than Zaman & Abbas but both are still very early in their careers.

Only name I am a bit surprised that isn't there is Faisal Akram but maybe they want to prioritize him playing upcoming FC tournament and Sufiyan is a similar bowler.

Guys like Abbas afridi, dahani, haidar ali, zaman khan and Mohammad Haris have been in and around the national team, this tourney could have been a chance to give to some youngsters to see how the perform, ideally players who have not represented pakistan in the senior level.

I don't know why international experienced players even though they are lesser ones have to play in emerging trophy, which is normally breeding ground for u23 players.soumya sarkar ,30,played in last trophy and we know the talent pool of bng.

It is clear that they have identified Arafat Minhas for the future. He is one to keep an eye out.

Keep on giving Haris the chance to lead A side and Shaheens without giving him chance in the main team squad is simply stupid.. Rohail Nazir been sidelined who has the experience of captaining u19s, should be given more chance or name Usman Khan or Tayyab tahir or Kamran Ghulam or Hurraira who are inline to make a debut in the main team will give them some experience of managing a team or how to handle pressure situations etc..

They have also named a Faheem Ashraf as captain of Hong Kong cricket sixers with Shadab Khan in the side , though its not a serious cricket altogether but why do such things.

No it is good to have these guys play against India A side which is a strong side , India C side would be stronger than Pak national side as they turn out to be more professional cricketers than these biriyani eaters..

Play against Ifthikar Ahmed, Asif Ali and those gully dunda cricketers would teach them nothing compared to playing against quality opponents like India, Srilanka, Afghanistan and Bangladesh A in a tournament.. Jahandad Khan, Hasnain and Ali raza should have been there too if not going to Australia for LOI series...

Sometimes these Pak cricketers look doomed not knowing the rules of the game..
