[PICTURES] Was the brainfade from Indian players responsible for Mohsin Naqvi's hijacking of Asia Cup 2025 trophy distribution ceremony?

Indian players could have used this opportunity to further troll Pakistan fans and Mohsin Naqvi. But instead an otherwise weak administrator in shape of Mohsin Naqvi end up schooling the Indian team by not only denying them trophy but also winner medals. And the worse bit was to take these souvenirs with him instead of dropping them with the ACC staff.

So how exactly it was a brainfade of the highest order could be gauged from following illustrations:

*No Look No Handshake during receiving trophy from Mohsin Naqvi: This would have further boiled up Naqvi but instead SKY and Indian politicians are boiling with urging ICC (BCCI) to take strict actions against Naqvi 🤣🤣

*Suryakumar Yadav pulling up faces to Mohsin Naqvi: Everyone knows that SKY may be a flop player of late but he has some great buffoonery skills and is master of pulling up cringe faces that will certainly have put Mohsin Naqvi in a jeopardy. Some examples

I seriously think the Indian team thought if they pull this tantrum someone would intervene and pakistan would get humilated but it didn't happen oh well 🤣
 
Everyone on this forum knows how much I like Naqvi....but at this occasion he really owned them. Fact....So for the first team I appreciate him for something.
 
Leave SKY and Naqvi aside, I am actually more surprised with what Agha did, considering the state of your economy I thought he must be collecting the toss coins but when he turned down the loser's check I was shocked. He might be a nothing cricketer but he earned my respect.

Oh bhai, it’s not a real "check," so don’t think you can take it to the bank and cash it. It’s just for show the actual reward money gets transferred directly into the account.

The biggest trolling being done is to dismiss Naqvi's presence and treat him like an untouchable.

They were trying to settle 6-0 humiliation, either that or forced explain how 4 guys can waltz through 40km of India without being detected. I guess DRS wasn't working. LOL!

Indians got humiliated further. For all the money, Indians still were forced to the begging bowl in Dubai to play in a tournament that zilch of any value other than to the 850 million living below the bread line who thought the tournament will be played close to their villages.

Imagine all those fair & lovely adverts - down the swanny!

Naah, these guys have all won Asia Cup before and some have won T20 WC/Champion's trophy. They will win it again next time.

It is trophyless Pakistans who craved this Asia Cup so much. So much that they stole it.
 
Gotta say, we got some of the coolest, chilliest and swaggiest celebration of winning a tournament ever thanks to this fiasco. The empty trophy celebration and all those insta pics were awesome 🤣.

The way the boys were hanging around in the grass while suit-boot officials were waiting for the presentation reminded me of college days when we never used to care for all these official functions and hang out at the back doing masti. 😍

One of the most memorable championships ever; love it.

India won second game but Rauf Plane celebration and Faheem memes stole the show so Pak won

India won the final and tournament but Naqvi saab didn’t hand the trophy and took it away, Indian team had some fun and frolic but got owned- so by default Pak won both the final, hearts and championship

Naqvi can only melt the brass trophy assuming it's metal, can't burn it. We can call the rivalry something like 'The Alloy

Based on the events unfolding doesn’t need to be a genius to wrap some of them around his finger 🤣 Rauf lost games vs USA, Zimbabwe and close wins for Pak against many teams yet all it took was a plane celebration to become a super star. How much brain cells need to be wasted here lol.

Your team is obviously protesting something. No problem - support your team’s cause. I’m with you there.

All I want to know is why is your team upset? Why is India so upset? What has the world done to you??!

Look I know on social media Indians get a lot of flak for various things like hygiene etc. that’s fine, but surely you’re used to that now. Did something else bad happen? Were you made to feel a bit insecure? Did someone swear at you? Did someone destroy your toys? Did someone slap you?

Just having a bit of fun. Nobody's jingoistic.

Personally I think India should have shook hands with the Pak team and staff in this tournament but it seems I am in the minority here.

Nope, I have also said during gameplay it is an etiquette to shake hands before and after. My opinion was SKY didn’t saying anything wrong or dissed Pakistan post-match like people are saying. Especially after first match. Things obviously escalated from there.

For now yes we don’t have a physical trophy. Eventually we will get it. Won’t change the result/ record. Worst case what Naqvi saab has 2 more years as ACC head? We will take it then 👍 “chairmans and heads” in Pak change in what 6-12 months anyways 🤷‍♂️
