If there is one thing that unites Indians and Pakistani, its the fact that they dont agree on anything
Anyways, an excellent post which should really be the spirit of things when we discuss IPLvPSL (why we do that is beyond me!)

Wonderful thread. To be honest, I'm new here, but I find the incessant trolling to be distasteful. I'm a proud Pakistani supporter but that doesn't mean we can't appreciate good cricket. I'm proud of the PSL; the way it has come up despite unbelievable odds to be an established tournament is something to be very proud of. The IPL is and will remain the gold-standard for leagues; there's no shame in accepting that, or making claims that the PSL is somehow better. We just come across as bitter, and it's not befitting us. In fact, most Indians I've met in Canada, have been pretty positive towards the PSL; it's the Indian media that like to have a chip on its shoulder.
Let's just enjoy the cricket on show and back in the fact that players who were snarling at each other a month on opposing international teams are bum buddies in the same team.
THAT is the magic of franchise cricket and what made the IPL special when it launched. Seeing Symonds and Harbhajan get on, Laxman and Afridi share a laugh, Ponting and Tendulkar on the same team, and MOST importantly, Indians feel bad when Akmal drops another catch is what made it all special. It would be good if we can all get along and have a single league. Considering that Starc, Rabada and Cummins are injured and people like Laughlin are getting call ups, there is definitely place for Amir, Hasan and Junaid in the IPL.
Let's enjoy cricket and let it bring us together, not take us apart.
