Even the best players sometimes don't fit into a system. Its never easy but you have to find the right system and stick to it, too much of chopping and changing doesn't help.

For strikers, I usually look at off the ball, finishing, and eh, I can't remember.

For AMs, I'll look at passing and creativity and teamwork.

Yeah..you're doing more or less everything right. Keep an eye on positioning and teamwork too

Look at your team composition.

Quick wingers and Strikers with good heading attributes = 4-4-2 Maybe.

Players with good passing ability who are maybe not so quick 4-3-3

Quick players and a rock solid defence = Counter attacking 4-2-3-1

And many more.

Yeah I think 4-2-3-1 sounds reasonable. Although if I play Klose, 4-4-2 isn't a bad idea but I don't have such good wingers.

I have a decent defense, but I'm relying a lot on Fellaini and Obi Mikel to contribute to defense cuz I have Clichy, Howdes, Naldo and Isla as my starters.

Well leatherface also said he doesn't know much about football. He had no idea that Cavani is actually one of the best players in the game.

In addition, getting a player like Cavani in the free transfers is a HUGE tossup and the team that gets him will have a huge advantage. I'd give leatherface a break and give Cavani back to him. And then he can trade him off.

Just because he clearly didnt know what he was doing and it doesn't really hurt anybody if we did it before the free transfers. We can stick to the rules too but its a big blow to a team to lose a player like cavani for nothing in return.
