My prediction is 3-2 to Australia.

I feel the Ashes are going to be entertaining and it is going to be the series which will establish Stokes as an ATG.

But it will be an Australian win because of the English openers who cannot even stand for an hour at the crease.

Both batting line ups are poor, but i expect englands batting to fare a little better in home conditions.

Josh Hazlewood has 16 wickets at 25.75.

Pat Cummins has 23 wickets at 24.85.

PM Siddle has 73 wickets at 28.63.

James Pattinson hasn’t played enough matches against England on the English soil from which you can conclude if he is a decent bowler or not for English conditions.

Nathan Lyon has 25 wickets at 30.20.

These are quite decent numbers but it is not as staggering as I thought it would be.

Apart from Cummins and Siddle, the rest of the bowlers fail to fulfill their potential in England.

Rain is about this summer so we will lose a match to it.

Both sides have better bowling than batting. The England top order is awful and Aussies can’t play lateral movement.

Every team and player not Indian or English is over hyped for you. Never ever seen you call a Indian or England player overhyped lol.

Cummins is elite . Pattinson and Siddle know how to bowl in English conditions but no one over hypes them anyway. Lyon is a excellent spinner . What is overhyped about Australia’s attack?

Why isn’t this team number one in tests if they have this much ability in your opinion? Your only excuses are this went against them or it’s a fluke when they lose. Just maybe England in tests and the players you are hyping aren’t as good as you say.

I think a lot rests on Roots performances. If he can get a few scores then England will be in a good position. The rest of their batting does not provide confidence.

as for aus, pattinson deserved to stay in the team. starc may replace siddle. hazlewood has to earn his place, he has been pretty bad in his last 10 tests
