2 Tests in tough conditions for Pakistan against a team that is a difficult opponent in its own conditions.

However Misbah's men are a tough and well-drilled unit and will be looking to do well against an opponent they have traditionally done well against.

What do you think will be the outcome of the 2 Test series?
 
2-0 Pakistan.

They owe it to the fans for the lacklustre last Test vs WI.
 
1-1 draw.

Kiwi team without BMac is spineless.

Ideally Pak should be favorite to win it 2-0. But Pakistan are not a ruthless team. They choke enough to give the opposition a chance.

Going by what I have seen in the past few years, pitches will be flat after Tea Day-1 and batsmen can pile up hundreds if they have the hunger. Feel for the bowlers though.
 
Can't really be too sure, our last test was atrocious and we're in a new country, but I'll predict 1-0 to Pakistan.
 
Good bowlers in both sides, so I don't expect any draws. I think NZ will win the first one because Pakistan won't have gotten used to the conditions soon enough, but Pakistan will reply strongly and win the second.

NZ only have one real batter in Latham.

Pakistan was recently top ranked team.

Rahat Ali to prove a point this series, hit's the deck hard and works his *** off - Amir will bowl well.

Hopefully Pakistan have spent a lot of time doing slips fielding drills, because god knows there will be a lot of slips action this series!
 
Rahat was a beast in New Zealand games in the World Cup. We all know what Amir is capable of. 2-0 Pakistan
 
I've gone for 1-1.

1st Test to NZ and then Pakistan fight back in the second match.

We'll be peaking at the right time in Australia, the NZ series is irrelevant regardless of the outcome although I expect a win

I think the first Test could be marred by rain looking at the forecast for next week in Christchurch.

1-0 series Win for pakistan coming up.
 
2-0 to NZ. Our batters will have a nightmare and bowlers will flat as usual. Wish our players prove me wrong

I'm predicting a series win for Pak but I'm not too sure on the actual result. 1-0 looks quite likely from my eyes.
 
I think New Zealand is favorite to win .They are a better side than Pakistan in their home soil.And they even beat Pakistan in a test in UAE.Plus Pakistan lost a test to a minnow in their last test.So, New Zealand is favorite.

What i expect is a tight battle as a neutral.

very well said. I also think it will be 1-1.

Pakistan will go with fears in the mind of the different conditions so that's a psychological advantage for Kiwi team in the first game but Pakistan will fightback in the 2nd game.

Pakistan lost a tests to a minnow yes thats correct. New zealand just lost 3-0 to a minnow team so point you make is irrelevant.
 
1-1 looks the most likely result because of a lack of practice match for the Pakistanis and Nz will be at the top of their game. A series victory for Pakistan will be a magnificent achievement.

India is a minnow. So ....

Pakistan is the no 1 ODI team....

And Yasir Shah is a tearing fast bowler....

And Trump has the most clean character in the world..

Pakistan favourites really.

But have a feeling this will be a closely fought series.

Can't do predictions. Its basically all about luck with so many unknown variables in here.

I would say probably 1-1 or a Pak series win (1-0).

But its really a guess only.
 
Wow, NZ without McCullum are in no mans land.
They are neither here nor there.

If the conditions are green and conducive to swing i expect Pakistan to have a tough time.
Whoever wins this series will win both games. No point in predicting 1-0 to either side. If Pakistan are to have any chance of competing in Australia, this is the series they have to win.

So 2-0 to the winner.

I suspect one match will be draw( based on how weather is looking right now). I think it will go 1-0 to Pakistan. But then both teams are capable of collapse and produce result in 3 days so you never know.

That was assuming there would be 10 days of play, unfortunately the weather isn't looking good in Christchurch.
 
After the lack of spine NZ showed in India, Pakistan should really be ruthless. Should be aggressive and go for the win, even if they lose a day in this test. They have the bowling and the batting to win this.

New Zealand ran through Pakistan in the first test. As I said, no way Pakistan can even draw a match in their tours of NZ and Aus. Many Pakistanis are as usual with their jingoistic posts.

Wishes should not be confused with reality. We are not capable of winning on pitches that are not flat. We don't have the batsmen or bowlers for it.

NZ would have won 5-0 if it was a 5-0 match series. Thoroughly outplayed us in every department.

We got badly exposed on those green surfaces.
