I think its as much about testing bench strength, as it is about resting the core players.

In Fakhar's case, its a good opportunity to give Shan Masood and Imam a run at the top and see what we have here

Fakhar scored 285 runs this PSL, with 3 50s and an average of nearly 30. Whilst he didnt have a groundbreaking tournament they are decent numbers. He didnt get out after a few deliveries and sit on his "batty". He also captained the Qalanders for the second half of the tournament.

Whilst there is definetly a need for him to tighten his game and technique up, there is no need for the factless exaggerations.

A rest will do him good. There are a good 10-11 matches in England before the first World cup game (5 odis- 3 warm ups agaisnt the counties- 2 world cup warm up games plus) so he will get plenty of game time .A rest may do him good,

Predicted 4-1 Australia because of the form they are peaking at the moment against India in India.

Looks like peaking at the right time. Jhye Richardson, usman khawaja, Ashton Turner, maxwell, players to look out for.

I’m sure Australia will easily win this series, Pakistan has to play really well to avoid an Aussie wash.

It's in the UAE and our players have been playing there and performing so to answer my own question i think we'll win.
This isn't india so it will be harder for aus to win as the pitches won't be as dead.

Australia's poor strike rotation and novice middle-order will find it hard to get going against the darters and spinners during the middle overs.

Difficult to call now. Yasir Shah isn't great in LO. Australia have issues against offies not leg spin usually.

nah pakistan in odis has just never been able to challenge australia that much, weak team or not.

we usually mess it up badly.
