Misbah should solely be a specialist captain and retire. He has lost whatever batting ability he had left in him.
This LQ team has crashed my fantasy team as well - stared with 6 of them (including Captain) - it ended myself roaming between 35th to 38th for almost 2 weeks. Since, then it has come down to 1/2 from LQ ... and I am in top 15. But, burnt too much fuel already

Misbah will continue to lose respect if he keeps this going. Outdated and mundane captaincy mixed with a lack of form with the bat.

Hopefully Quetta and Karachi put up a close match.
It's actually good for PAK cricket - IU should be paid to keep him captain for 5 more years. That's probably only way to keep him out of Selector or Coach's role - you have no idea what miracle he can do if somehow he replaces Ul Haq.

Exactly, they should have sent Faheem or someone to finish it off quick. The teams besides LQ are all pretty close, NRR can come into the equation.

It was 13.3 overs when Misbah came in with 25~ runs required. He has managed to take it the 17th over in a T20.

His captaincy has been brilliant. The decision to open with Duminy in the last match diffused Imad's threat of drying up runs worked brilliantly. Today sending Shadab at 3 was also very good. In addition, he marshals his troops brilliantly and utilizes his resources better than others.

Marshaling troops requires the general to lead from the front. In cricket, that is found in the form of scoring runs. Especially, scoring runs QUICKLY, as in a T20. The only thing holding IU and its players back from removing Misbah is his 1st PSL victory and the "respect" culture of Pakistan cricket. These youngsters know that if they open their mouths to criticize Misbah once, that will be the end of their careers.

I think lahore made some critical errors in this Psl namely not picking a good Wk batsman,Going for an explosive squad with no players to hold one end (eg England team have root to do that),No proper roles defined for the players....

He is able to play all over country/world for club teams & FC teams with a younger family across whole year!!!! 2 years down the line family will grow while Selectors job in PAK doesn't need much dedicated time. For a Coaching role, he can manage to agree PCB a clause that his wife will accompany him everywhere .... while PCB can sponsor his kid (s), for a boarding school in Switzerland ......

Came out, scored at a blsitering SR, failed to install confidence of younger players, put pressure on the guy who was SET and got him OUT, killed the NRR and didn't even gain any confidence himself. It was a purely selfish act that failed. It's not as if the IU batting line up would lose 7 wickets for 26 runs in 6.3 overs.

Himself, Asif and even Shadab got a promotion. Each batsman of the playing xi needs some time in the middle cause right now the team's too dependent on Ronchi. Misbah is a smart enough to know this

I'm a big Misbah supporter but cannot believe he is getting defended for this display. Yes, all his decisions were spot on, even when he came out to bat. However, if he couldn't put the ball away, he should have simply retired out and maximize his team's NRR.
