Asif Ali promoted to #3 despite normally being at #5.

Talat demoted from #3 where he did well last season. Still managed a match-winning knock at #5 in the last match, demoted again to #6.

At least I can admit Misbah doesn't always favour younger players which i don't agree with and have said many times. Whereas he won't see a single fault in Sarfraz.

Like I said your support of Sarfi/Misbah only hurts the national team. There should be no "Well, he's even worse" criteria as that's what children do. We should just focus on what's best for the national team.

To point out the inept strategy/management from IU.

Farhan shouldn't have been dropped after one game with Asif Ali being persisted with, failure after failure. Farhan is more of a #3 than Asif Ali anyway.

Must say Moin & Sarfraz has done their homework for PSL draft perfectly - for 3rd year, they are going to out punch their weight.

What they have done is picked batsmen from foreigners & whatever local bowlers left within their budget. And they have picked cheap local spinners. What KP, Watson, doing at this age in PSL actually indicates the domestic batting resources, add to that Rossouw, Roy, Hastings, Mahmud (last 2 years I believe Right was there), their scouting has been spot on with half the budget of KK or LQ.

No budget id the same of all teams.

Here guy is batting at 5 pushing Talat down and dropped Farhan. IU is short of one spinner for this mud bed - you'll see IU might dropping one of Fahim or Raees to accommodate a spinner & carry on Sami.

Raees is injured now and as VC he wouldn't have been dropped. Fahim was performing well so he wouldn't have dropped.

What was really ridiculous was seeing Patel and Badree benched. Patel in particular is coming off a purple patch in LOI cricket in England. His combined batting and bowling would have been exceptional for the side. Badre would have been a nice addition too. Islamabad have to pick the right side for the next game.
