Quetta squad now includes Afridi, Tanvir, Iftikhar, Umar Akmal, Faulkner and Sarfaraz.

Well Zafar Gohar returns to Islamabad United. Hopefully gets games and performs well.

Judging from the quality of foreign players in PSL, PCB should enforce a rule of maximum 3 foreign players per playing XI.

Rohail Nazir - Karachi Kings
Zafar Gohar - Islamabad United

Muhammad Imran jr - Karachi Kings
Sameen Gul - Peshawar Zalmi

Samit Patel is back with Lahore Qalandars. I must say, that was a bad move. Could have gone with other spin bowling ARs.

@Saj, what picks make sense and which don't?

Cause there are some ordinary and some surprising moves.

Lol this lady is a terrible host. She literally cuts everyone off and has been extremely unprofessional.

Romario Shepherd and Odean Smith I think are very good picks.

The other WI allrounder Dominic Drakes is also a very good upcoming allrounder. Should have been picked.

More surprising is Ben Duck being not picked given his PSL Record.

I don't think he's a good enough WK. He left wicket-keeping before a good couple of years before Qalandars asked him to do it. His fitness is also a concern.

The six HBL Pakistan Super League franchises on Sunday finalised their squads in quest to lift the glittering trophy at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on 27 March.

Looked like one of the player's child and an owner's wife were both helping with selection :)

Have a look at his economy rate in T20Is and IPL what do teams look for when picking players.

Teams look for numbers and stats in modern day cricket amongst the players available. Chris Jordan is amongst the top 10 bowlers (He is 10th) economy wise (Minimum 100 balls bowled) in death overs since Jan 2020 in T20Is. Only Haris Rauf, Shaheen Shah and Muzarabani (Oppositions might not be the strongest) have better death overs economy than him amongst the bowlers in PSL. To give more perspective even from international point of view Starc (10.52), Rabada (10.42) and Southee (10.84) have worse death overs economy than Chris Jordan (10.39).

According to some reports

BPL is clashing with PSL, one the franchise has faf,Moeen and Narine as their overseas signings. PSL owners should be ashamed of themselves, stingy owners. We should give franchises to bigger players in the marker like Mansha, Malik Riaz, House of Habib and Hashwani group. Sack these petty owners.

I don't think these owners have expressed interest in the PSL. The PCB so far has fallen for the emotional blackmailing of the franchise owners ie we are the first time investors in this league, we deserve respect, all our wishes to be catered too, they are now taking 98% of the PSL revenues and they are still complaining. Behind the scenes, they justify not pouring anything more than what they usually do in the PSL every year because they don't have the confidence in the Pakistani market to get a sufficient ROI
