PSL final was a bigger event than India-Pakistan faceoff: PCB

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Operating Officer Subhan Ahmed Thursday said the final showdown of Pakistan Super League (PSL) was a bigger event than any Pakistan-India match.

Attending a meeting of Standing Committee, Subhan Ahmed revealed PSL final attracted more viewership than any Pakistan-India match, adding TV rating of Indo-Pakistan match received ten points; but, PSL’s Lahore final skyrocketed to 21 points.

The board COO said eight matches of PSL-3 will be held in Pakistan; of them, four will take place in Lahore and as many others in Karachi.

Commenting on fixing scandal, the PCB officer said five players have been suspended for involvement in corruption scam; of them, one has been penalized and investigation against four others is in progress.

Nasir Jamshed, a vital character in the scandal is currently in England where the country’s crime agency booked him in the scam, he added.

there may be possibility of very good viewership of PSL final. I guess all my friends circle was very much interested in PSL final. Even international community too. Frns from India as well as Bangladesh too were interested..

But who can rule out whole india's population . PCB guys are fool.//
