PTI Government - 100 day agenda thread

I voted PTI and will vote PPP, and not Imran. Hope he is jailed soon

thanks for proving my statement correct,

Anybody with half a brain knows the PPP are completley useless. I have a task for you. Take out there previous manifesto (if you have the guts) and tell me how they plan on paying for all those stupid promises they've made in it. More loans? please. They are a wadera party full of morons who cant run a nation.

So many people want this government to fail and end ASAP it is hilarious.

Do not worry it will be completing its term of 5 years.

What a flop show it has been. Many ministers look like they are inexperienced which kinda proves that elections weren't rigged which I used to believe because if it was rigged then they would have done some homework before coming to the government but they won a lot of seats which was a bit shady

ignore them. They dont understand anything..to them the subsidies and the loans is what they want and how they think a country is run.

Tiny countries like Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam etc smashing Pakistan in all economic indicators, but these jahil log want back the people who have ruled us for 40 years. Khuda ka khauf karo bhai kitna khaogaye.

As a poster mentioned above, its laughable how many people want this government to fail.

Those are some seriously sad people, i hope they manage to find some maturity from somewhere.

In the mean time, Imran and his government will go about their business and will get this country back on track inshallah !

I am in Pakistan and was here 4,5 years earlier. Big changes by PTI govt already. I will write a more detailed reply when I am back.

But but Nawaz and his crew are tajarbakaar loag who have turned pakistan into a asian tiger. the amount of garbage you ehar from these people is beyond astounding. Now IK has had a failed China trip when all indicators show it was pretty successful. Hell the chinese ambassador has had to highlight the successes on the tour. But no IK is a failure blah blah blah.

The pmln are a joke and its supporters are bigger jokers who offer nothing to Pakistan other than more debt and slave status.

I just returned too and I was there previously too. The change is quite visible and also the mood is upbeat. The nooras are seriously rattled!!

Legal package promised in PTI's 100-day agenda ready ahead of deadline: law minister

Minister for Law and Justice Barrister Dr Farogh Naseem on Wednesday claimed that the law ministry has completed the tasks assigned to it as part of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government's plans for its first 100 days in power, three weeks in advance.

In a special message issued to mark the feat, Naseem said his ministry had finalised the entire legal package by Tuesday night.

He revealed that a draft of the whistleblower bill is ready, whereas work has also been done on the women's action plan.

According to the minister, the inheritance-related issues faced by people have been reformed; he claimed that the process which previously used to take seven or eight years can now be completed within 15 days.

Furthermore, the barrister said progress has been made on a legal assistance bill that had been pending for nine years.

"A comprehensive law has also been drafted for public servants," he announced, adding that a legal aid justice authority has been established.

As part of the legal package, "legal assistance will be given to people — especially women and children — from backward areas", he stated.

Naseem revealed that amendments have also been recommended to the civil procedures, which he said were "formulated by the English after 20 to 30 years of research".

He said Prime Minister Imran Khan has already been briefed about the legal package, which will be inaugurated by the premier soon.

Petrol prices goes up again...Naya Pakistan Purana Manjan

Here is a lesson in basic economics , Pakistan has to import oil since its own domestic production isn't sufficient to meet its demand. The price of oil is set by the oil exporting countries *shock and horror*

Since Pakistan has to import oil it can only do so at the rate set by oil exporting countries in the world market which fluctuates up or down depending on geopolitical and economic situation *more shock and horror*

If the price of oil in the international market goes up the Pakistani government has two options, either pass on that increase to consumer, or absorb the increase thereby depleting currency reserves. *people start fainting*

Exactly. And on top of this, why can't people see that PTI have actually made genuine efforts to minimize the impact felt by the lower classes? When the prices for various comodities rose, PTI increased the price of the type of that commodity bought by the rich, they made sure that the poor felt the least impact.

Also, isn't it the PTI government that is trying to invite people to invest in a refinary near Gwadar? Such a refinary will cut Pakistan's import bill by $7 billion, it will be the people who benefit from this.

We all welcome criticism, but not this jahalat.

but but thats logical, the patwari party doesnt do logic..they are trying to whip up all sorts of right wing propaganda, from yahoodi agent nonsense to all sorts of bakwaas..newsflash patwaris, your whole leadership is going to jail and Inshallah every single one of your leaders will be dealt with for their treason.

They don't even have any plan for Sindh including Karachi. There is a underpass at sharhaefaisal and it's around 2 to 3 years old. After completing it first they named it of any ex PPP worker than they used panaflex not paint on it's wall and now you'll find third class light green color distemper on it's wall.

100 days is too early to judge any government. Pakistan has a lot of untapped human capital. If the government is able to provide security and assurance to investors that their investment will earn a good return, then you will see a great improvement in Pakistan's economic situation.

Provide security and remove government restrictions. The private entrepreneurs will do the rest. However, it will take at least a couple of years for positive results to be visible. Good luck.

Jailed for what ?
What law has he broken?

he has broken the patwari party law. Which states "if you are a rich baap ka beta or a rich individual you have the right to do whatever you want, at whatever expense you so desire. No Officer of the law is allowed to arrest or detain you for any reason. Everybody must bow down in deference to you so you may continue to plunder".

I wonder if any other news agency would've phrased it in quite this way. Look forward to Mir Shakeel being behind bars

There's aiming high and then having to adjust your plans and settle for less, and then there is claiming a Qatari letter proves your innocence only to then say "what Qatari letter?".

Geo's report card is the most biased show against a particular party.

Only the day before yesterday they were admonished in the supreme court for poor reporting.

100 days is practically speaking insufficient. Let's revisit after a few years to make a better comparison

It always surprises me when the opposition talk about the 100 days stuff..they think IK was going to solve all the countrys problems in 100 days lol..

70 years of mess will take a lot of time to clean up. Come back after 5-10 years.

Bill Gates explains why chickens are the ultimate solution to poverty

The richest man in the world is setting his sights on poultry as an antidote to poverty.
On Wednesday June 8, standing in front of a makeshift chicken coop on the 68th floor of a New York skyscraper, Bill Gates announced his foundation's partnership with Heifer International, a charity focused on donating livestock to poor families around the world.

Together, the two organizations will deliver chickens to countries in need as a way to lift their citizens out of poverty. Gates says his initial donation will be 100,000 chickens.

The announcement coincides with the philanthropist's latest post on his Gates Notes blog, which outlines the supreme benefits a flock can offer impoverished families.

"These chickens are multiplying on an ongoing basis, so there's no investment that has a return percentage anything like being able to breed chickens," Gates says.

Families that keep chickens can use the birds for their meat (either to consume or sell), and live chickens can serve as a currency to pay for things like school fees or repairs. In addition, they are cheap, easy to care for, and can empower women to take active entrepreneurial roles in their community.

"The chickens are almost entirely a women's activity, because it involves being around the household all day long," Gates says.

Through research and trips to West Africa, Gates has found that after a period of three months, a typical owner of eight to 10 chickens can yield a flock of 40 chicks. With a sale price of $5 per chicken, which Gates notes is typical in West Africa, an owner can earn over $1,000 a year. The extreme-poverty line, meanwhile, hovers around $700 a year.

Donald Nkrumah, senior program officer of agriculture development at the Gates Foundation, says chickens are a good way to supplement seasonal sources of income, such as crops.

In East Africa, for example, many farmers use the income generated from their chickens to purchase a cow, which offers more in the way of milk and meat. According to Nkrumah, livestock makes up between 30 and 40% of the income in a household.

The fact families can consume eggs or milk all year-round adds to their sense of self-sufficiency.

Pierre Ferrari, the CEO of Heifer International, says Gates and Heifer have selected roughly a dozen countries where they think donated chickens will do the most good. Many are located in rural areas in Africa, Central America, and Asia, though he couldn't name any specifically.
A big hurdle in choosing locations for the new coops, Ferrari says, is ensuring that local farmers are properly trained to handle a small flock of eight or nine chickens. "There's no point in placing a chickens in a place where they're going to die," he explained.

Nkrumah says the bulk of the farmers' training will come from local government organizations that cooperate with Heifer International and the Gates Foundation.

Over time, Gates says he hopes the partnership will help people lift themselves out of poverty. He calls it a "bootstrap" solution.

"It's the classic thing of teaching someone how to fish," Gates says. "Now, if you don't live near water, then it's pretty hard to fish. But the parable could've been stated in terms of giving somebody a chicken."

Let’s not forget where the first mention of the “hundred days in office” came from and where it ended. (3/20/1815-7/8/1815). :)

It’s a political tool used to provoke a sense of changing the old guard while the new leaders simply adjusts himself to the levels of hierarchy and bureaucracy.

The fact is they are yet to prove their competence. But I'm well to give the PTI a few months to see if they are not just all talk.

Thanks for giving them a few months, you are too generous. Maybe you should have given those that bankrupted the country a few months and we wouldn't be in this mess. Maybe even tell us where your finance Minister is?

Gave 30 years to corrupt Sharifs but only willing to give a few months to PTI. How very kind of you.

Visited Pakistan for about 2 weeks and pretty much all Plaza’s, commercial buildings etc on Kashmir Highway have either been demolished or its construction has been stopped. Mainly because these lands are legally owned by the Government.

However the poor have also been affected. Many poor families have been told their house that they have had for generations are illegal. Back when their Grandparents purchased it, documents or such was not a concept so many currently have no documents to prove anything and are suffering.

PTI need to live up to their statement of preventing poverty. If they are going to action Poor people to leave their homes then they must offer them compensation, insurance, legal aid or offer a fair market value of the property.

Remember not all families knew their lands were illegal as many received NOC as well.

Fair point about the poor and they also need to go after the movers and fixers that made money out of the illegality

They are just hot air. The fact that they could not complete a single metro bus project in Peshawar shows their credentials. Most of their so-called reforms and policies are for show only and have no substance.

His brainwashed supporters cannot list any concrete, game-changing initiatives that PTI has managed to achieve in any sector or department. Their inexperience and incompetence have been badly exposed, and this is only the beginning. I am afraid they will run this country into the ground by 2023.

What about your lies- you were exposed and then as always you ran. You told us Billo was your hope but when he gets exposed you run again. Get over it, the crooks and thugs you support are finished

I agree with Mamoon .

They will run this country down into ground by 2023.

Can someone list the achievements of the PTI government so far??

Bedsides keeping the country afloat from your thefts- btw we are still waiting for the money trail the duffer promised in Parliament ( and then said later he was lying) , starting the rescue of public services, getting millions of kanals of land back from Noora land grabbers, getting respect back on the international scene.
Don't forget he has sent the mafia into a tail spin-with The Duffer behind bars, his kids on the run, and his 2 brothers either in jail or about to go to jail. I think that is a pretty good start don't you think.

Imran Khan , after a bad experience with Pervez Khatak, who was a clever and traditional politician, has appointed pliant CMs in KPK and Punjab. Lets see how the things unfold.

Nothing positive is coming out. Pervaiz was brilliant. This guy is clueless.

What's gone wrong?

I know Sohail bhai you are trying to play a Pashtun card here, which you should not. I know you are concerned about that Rao Anwar thing. He killed one pashtun and suddenly your anger errupted. What about hundreds of Urdu speakers killed by him and others?

Also, now you are supporter of PTM because of that Dawar case, right? I would like to suggest bro you should do bit more background research about it and you will know lots of things.

And last thing, now you are trying to move out of the country because you fear for the safety of your life and family. Janab, you can't run away from DEATH. Jahan aani hogi na, to ajayge. Educated people like you who never try to do something good for the country and system, who consider an easy option i.e running away and then you people can talk about the situation of country. Sorry to say, it's quite funny.

Alhamdulillah as compared to the previous years, the system of Law and Justice is extremely better in KPK now.

Anyways, coming towards the topic and that this new CM is dud and duffer while Pervez was excellent. Parvez got 05 years to do his stuff, in which he did some mistakes but some good things as well. And you are not willing to give one complete year to Mehmood Khan? WHY?

I can enlist many of his good things uptil now which he has done.

WSSP has a digital system now.

Court automation started.

Only six incidents of terrorism took place in the capital city throughout 2018 compared to 14 in 2017 showing 57 per cent reduction in their incidence.

Incidence of targeted killings in the capital city dropped from 10 to five.

Sui Gas project Lambi Dheri.

Mehman Khana project.

Only CM to save some money from the allotted Funds.

Building 02 University in the City of Kohat, among two, one is Medical University.

Merged the excise and taxation department with the provincial revenue authority.

Introducing a smart card system which will replace the old registration book system for vehicles registered in the province.

Establishment of economic Zones in the erstwhile federally administered and provincially administered tribal areas of the province.

Finalisation of the financial model for the Rashakai Economic Zone.

And there are many. I am not saying he is the best, but saying he is duffer after a span of some months is hilarious.

The fault of this guy is he don't like to talk much, he is not fond of holding day to day press conferences e.t.c.

It would be wise if we give him at least 02 complete years.

Anyways, hope you find a good home and job in foreign country where you may live a good life without fear of DYING. Good luck brother.

Thanks brother for the information you shared. I don’t want to play Pashtun card and I wanna say what I think is right, if urdu speaker is killed or Pashtun. I did not participate in any dharna od PTM so technically I am not a part of it and I do beleive many of his slogans were wrong but many were genuine too and even Imran khan endorsed them before elections. State should go for the reasons that why we want to leave the country?? Must be some reasons? And I do judge this health minister and CM on the basis of my observation I did so far. In health, nothing positive is coming out, BOGs are promoted on personal agendas, our helath minister is unaware of the things, new trainee are facing stipend issue for 6 months, no security act or MO act, no new work, the old things repeated again and again. Pervaiz and co did reaoably well. Even BRT is headache and it continues. The . In health I am rightly disappointed and you can see if you visit any tertiary care hospital wxcept HMC in KPK. And you will get your answer.

No point in arguing with a Junooni who thinks that the PTI government did not mess up the BRT project, and the resident Junoonis on this forum (who have never been to Peshawar and never will) actually buy into the nonsense that he writes about the BRT.

A completely failed project that has badly exposed the incompetence and arrogance of the PTI government. They have no clue what to do with it now, and Peshawar will remain an infrastructural nightmare for at least another two years.

Let's accept that the BRT has been badly handled, but is it really the first to go over budget, recently the cross rail project in London went over budget and delayed by a year. What about Islamabad airport, delayed by a decade and over budget by 100's of billions, remember Nandipur which was inaugurated by the duffer and still not producing any Electricity.

You know i always say that Mamoon ur Rasheed ( Chishmish ) Is a certified lier. Because you lie about people, infact you BLAME people for those words which they have never done.

I calmly accept back in the days that BRT project is messed up by PTI and now i am going to share screen shot, and post link as well :) Will you grow some balls and will apologize? I highly doubt.

Brother, as i said before. We gave complete 05 years to Pervez Khattak and did excellent job, no doubt he did some mistakes. But he did many many good things for us.

What i am saying to you is wait a little, Mehmood is coming on a track he is trying to do things right. Not even an year has been completed yet. As i said before, at least give him 02 years and then see what he is going to do.

The things which you have said about health conditions currently going on is no doubt, absolutely right. Pervez Khattak did lot of reforms in Health sector which we all have seen. Mehmood hasn't done a single thing SO FAR in health sector and health sector is on decline again.

But they guy is working,a nd tha's the positive thing for me. So wait for a while and then we will judge him deeply, again.

Regarding PTM, genuine questions were always welcomed by him and that's why IK appraised him for this.

Agreed.Compleetly failed project and causing millions of rupees wasted on people health due to rpeated chest infections peopel are getting living in peshwar becoz of this nonsense and failed prroject.

No need of tagging your fellow Junoonis to pat you on the back.

The fact is that for a long time, you were in denial over PTI's mismanagement with respect to the BRT project, and it wasn't until I backed you in a corner and left you with no choice but to finally acknowledge PTI's failures with gritted teeth.

I would have respected your honesty if you would have been open and transparent about PTI's failures from the word go. However, the fact that you only admitted after I forced you means nothing. If it wasn't for me pointing out facts that you could not deny, you would still be shamelessly denying their incompetence.

Don't make feeble attempts of hiding behind the failures of other parties. People did not vote for PTI because they are less crappy than others; they voted for PTI because it claimed that it is going to bring tabdeeli.

Tabdeeli is not what we saw in KP or what we are seeing now at a national level - it is an example of what happens when you run your mouth without having any experience of running the country. It is always easier said than done. B

Before initiating the BRT disaster, the crook Pervez Khattak made tall claims of how the PTI government will show other governments how to complete a big project like this within the designated time at the lowest possible cost. However, not only did those claims backfire, he also shamelessly attempted to deny PTI's role in the mismanagement.

Same is happening now on a much larger scale. PTI is nothing more than a very good opposition party that excels in creating noise and gathering brainwashed masses to create anarchy and disrupt the country with protests and strikes. However, when it comes to practicality and managing a province or country, they are out of their depth.

Let's say you are right which I still doubt , because as the gas accusations show, you make up stuff every day. It's interesting that you say we shouldn't compare against previous govts, but isn't that a really stupid thing to say because if you can't compare then how do you know what is good or bad, how do you know if something is improving. Why did you avoid answering on Nandipur or Islamabad airport? Didn't you say how good those corrupt people were?
Let's cut to the chase, the country is bankrupt, who caused the bankruptcy, was it the PTI or your guys that have been in power for the last 10 years? Your corrupt will pay, they can't run, the Duffer is in jail, the Sindh mafia have been caught red handed

There is regular gas load-shedding across the country and since two days, there have been power cuts in Islamabad after every few hours. Since you do not care enough to live in the country that you pretend to care so much about over the Internet, you are free to take the word of our friend here who denied PTI's mismanagement in the BRT project until I forced him to spill the truth.

Oh and I do agree with him on one thing. The gas shortage in Peshawar is because of the BRT, and PTI is responsible for it. They were supposed to have it up and running more than a year ago.

Mamoon anyone who still in favour of BRT project is mad,. I have mentioned the ill impact on health.

Yes but you lied on that day because their are people that testified and they have more credibility than you. The PTI might mismanaged the BRT but you are making out that this is 1st in the World and it's never happened. It makes you look desperate, why haven't you explained Nandipur Afterall it was done under both your favourite corrupt parties, can you give us an update as to how much it cost, and how much electricity its producing?

Yea it’s due to work but I hope they complete it im two to three months which does not look to be.

All big projects are a pain as They cause disruption and annoyance. If they are not worth it in the long run then it's been a waste of money and time. Btw as you are Peshawar can you please check if Mamoon said about the shelter home being closed as soon as IK left the home.

Indeed. I replied in the relevant thread about Shelter Home, in Peshawar we call them Mehman Khana ;) And as i said before there are total of 5, but 03 of them are running and 02 are under progress. And buses are working at night in order to pick people as it has been witnessed by many people including me.

But, obviously Mamoon ur Rasheed lives in Peshawar ( I mean Peshawar at twitter ) so his all information are false.

Haha only an honest person can respect other person honesty, obviously you can't respect it :)

You forced me? Chalo let me expose your lie again. I wasnt even talking to you on that relevant thread, so you never forced me and btw, you don't have spine to force me to say something.

I say right, when the things are right. And i say wrong, when the things are wrong. Am not deaf and blind and obviously biased like you.

And i dare you, triple dare you read the thread and tell me where you forced me. I will share the link also ;) http://www.pakpassion.net/ppforum/s...-PTI-Performance-so-far&p=9763516#post9763516

Now grow some spine, or else you can run away from this topic because you are best at it.

And your good luck that i have to join my work after 36 hours approx and i won't be available. So till then, ENJOY.

Is that a temporary state because of the works or will the problems continue after the completion

Projects like these cause environmental issues all around the world. But there was a backup plan for this that how these issues will be dealt with after the job is done and especially Health sector. So InshAllah, once this project is completed. Health issues will definitely be sorted out as obviously Govt can't take any risk about it.

There is lots of investment in it and for sure it will benefit KPK in a long run. So a temporary loss can be taken i guess.

Mehmood Khan has ordered Ajmal Khan Wazir to take care of this project and Ajmal Khan Wazir is checking this project day and night. It has been said that soft opening will be at 23 March 2019, but i think it wont happen. Realistically possible in May, 2019.

The good thing is people were facing lots of traffic issues initially which has been decreased now, or should i say nearly this issue is ended.
