Peshawar: MPA Faisal Zaman has fled sub-jail MPA hostel Peshawar, he was detained there at KP Assembly Speakers’ requisition, ARY News reported.

The MPA is accused of murdering PTI leader Tahir Iqbal.

A member of Kyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly Faisal Zaman has fled the MPA hostel Peshawar, where he was detained. The Peshawar MPA hostel was declared as a sub-jail for Faisal at Speaker KP assembly’s request.

Faisal Zaman was elected a member of the KP assembly independently and joined PTI afterwards. Faisal had been accused in the murder case of another Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Tahir Iqbal.

Faisal was arrested after the anti-terrorism court cancelled his bail in the murder case of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Malik Tahir Iqbal who was killed in Haripur district a few months back.

Tahir Iqbal and his driver Sardar Gul Nawaz were shot dead by unidentified gunmen on September 14, 2020, in Kotera village of Ghazi tehsil in Haripur.

There should be no whatabouttery in these matters.

To the family of the murdered man his life was worth more than anything.

Reducing the death to whatabouttery and political point scoriglng is disrespectful.

Yep. Public for the most part is a lost herd of sheep who has no idea of its destination.
It’s only recently that some sense has been instilled in some portion of public - but as you can see, public has been totally shackled by tey army. Public can’t do anything.
The army has to have 100% say in whoever wants to be the PM.

Just look at their politics - on face, they supported IK but how cunningly they kept the back door open by putting a sell out election commissioner who is a prostitute of Shareefs.

I am shocked by Bajwa’s statement that IK was not a yes man.

He's learned from his mistake. Bear in mind this was the first time PTI was in government, they chose electables for the last election, won't be happening again. Imran Khan has stated that this time he will give tickets to PTI workers and loyalists and will personally be involved in the process

Good post. If we defend these crooks or pretend to care for the victims but deep down are worried about the Party then, we are no different from the crooks and thugs of the other parties

There is no defense against criminal allegations. The accused should be caught and tried under law. PTI should distance itself from any member that has criminal allegation on them until they clear their name.
