So Pakistanis should not pay bill’s for two days then on the third invade parliament house inevitably leading to chaos and bloodshed. This will lead to the military taking over for sure, something that PTI and IK have always wanted to avoid, methinks it’s a hit wicket for sure!!. IK makes no sense whatsoever, obviously prior to the march he did little planning and seems clueless if not in a state of panic.
Hitwicket! Well said. (by Talat Hussain)
I think the Sharif brothers have run out IK!!!![]()
Okay . . . . and what is the mentality of an individual out there in the march?
I respect you bro, but here is one thing.
This is a game of politics and power. When politics is personalised in the raw pursuit of power, a Nawaz v. Imran fight to the end, the only loser is the awaam. The ordinary guy who just wants to go to work and earn enough to sustain his family.
Ideology, ethics and past be damned.
Slave like mentality summed up in one post
Imran Khan's interview while laying down on stage:
https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10152365553024527
Just a general observation. Khan looks really exhausted and i dont know how much toll has 18 years on the trail as a politician taken on him, the amount of physical road work and physical hard work he has put in as a politician compared to others is unparalleled but it appears to be taking a huge toll on his appearance and health. Sometimes i wonder whether he thinks back at the opportunity cost in terms of personal life and other things he could have done, he could have made a lot of money as a commentator, writer for sure.
I can't speak for the individuals.
Fair enough, but then the ordinary guy should not complain "government corrupt hai, koyi in ko takht se nhi utaar sakta". If truly everyone is happy with their work and earning enough to sustain their families then they have no right to moan about governments
The same courts which let Gullu Butt walk free? To hell with these courts
Yes, I read one of those posts. I never heard of civil disobedience in developed western countries. Its impossible to avoid taxes in that part of the world. Or am I wrong?
Pakistan was already a joke of a country in the world's view.
So Pakistanis should not pay bill’s for two days then on the third invade parliament house inevitably leading to chaos and bloodshed. This will lead to the military taking over for sure, something that PTI and IK have always wanted to avoid, methinks it’s a hit wicket for sure!!. I think a lot of people, not only PTI supporters will be with IK when it comes to his call for not paying taxes.
Pakistan doesn't need a revolution, it needs reform by way of passing bills in parliament
Which isn't happening though, from my understanding? He filed claims in the courts in regard to the election rigging, and nothing is being done about it, correct?
So how I see it, what else is there left to do?
This !
Something needs to be done.
IK is trying at least he is doing something.
Indeed - but with this mass tax boycott its going to be hard to run a 'model government' in KPK.A guy on Geo saying that rich themselves don't pay taxes, why should we pay it?
ISLAMABAD: Scores of traders on Sunday held a protest outside the National Press Club (NPC) against the ongoing sit-ins of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT).
The traders were of the view that the sit-ins had disturbed the financial system of the federal capital.
They appealed to the government to resolve the issue either by resigning or shifting the venues of the protests out of the city.
They also appealed to Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri to consider the problems of the traders and find some other ways to get their demands fulfilled.
Addressing the protesters, Ajmal Baloch, a leader of the Aabpara market traders, said for the last eight days most of the shops in the area remained closed.
“Traders have to pay rent of their shops and meet other expenses but in the absence of any business, they are suffering. Besides, daily-wage workers are also out of work,” he said.
He added that traders who opened their businesses did not have much to do as participants of the sit-ins spent most of their time standing in front of their shops.
“They (protesters) come to the shops and charge their mobile phone batteries. They don’t even bother to get permission of the owners,” he said.
The president of the Super Market Welfare Association, Sarfaraz Mughal, said most of the traders purchased goods from wholesale dealers on credit and paid the dealers after selling them.
“If the shops remained closed, how can the traders pay back their loans. During the sit-ins, most of the participants sleep in the markets, and even in the ATM booths.”
He said traders in other markets were also suffering because they were not getting supplies due to security issues. The interior minister should designate a place for the protesters out of the city,” he said.
Mehboobul Mukarram, a trader in the Melody Market, appealed to the PTI and PAT leadership to consider the problems of the traders and shift their supporters somewhere else.
Talking to Dawn, Sarfraz Mughal said: “It has become impossible for the traders to get supplies of edible items because of security reasons. Even the citizens have stopped coming out of their houses.”

That stance won't get you anywhere.
Gullu Butt did not "walk free" - he was released on bail.
Fine, lower courts are rife with corruption. But would you say that about the Supreme Court? That one institution whose leader was named as one of the most powerful individuals a few years back? Which does something to maintain and uphold the constitution of the country by staying within the system?
Yes, wonderful.
Make a mockery out of your country now on global media just to oust the local govt. Perfect!
Another big lie. Are you not familiar with the names Arsalan and Iftikhar Ch?
In fact, majority of these judges in high courts and supreme courts have been appointed through supreme judicial council , so most of these guys chosen for these jobs have personal relationship with the former chief justice who almost all parties (except N league) consider politicized in favor of N league.
On the other hand, some people in lower courts may be corrupt as is the case in every field anywhere but on the whole they are impartial because they have been selected on merit via competitive examinations and not because of political affiliations or personal relations with Chief Justice.
He didn't need to make a mockery of our country. As our PM does it very well all by himself
PTI resigns from National Assembly.
A bit too late, i reckon.
Fact: NS and IK had the same number of showings in the NA.
So much for upholding the parliamentary channel for reforms.
KPK should ask for separation from Pakistan if Nawaz doesn't resign. Thank god Bangladesh separated before they had the deal with Nawaz.
No. Why would they resign from KP and against what ? They have no concerns over elections in KP but at the same time IK did say they are ready for re elections in KP if opposition have doubts over their mandate.Doesnt make any difference. They refused to resign from KPK assembly which matters most.
They dont want their own skin in the game.

the circus continues!
what was the point of resigning now ?! Should have done it a year back, at least then it would have liked a principled stand and they would have gotten some good political mileage from it.
incredibly stupid!
Have a read a lot of stupid crap on PP, but this surely takes the cake!
Hats off, jack@ss !!!
big disappointment... no respect for the 7 million plus votes it got.. atleast serve them.. uphold their trust.
just digging a deeper hole right now the PTI folks..
And the other million of votes that went missing and went towards these corrupt ********?
I don't care what happens but I'll forever respect Kaptaan. If he fails/failed, he did trying. A leader worthy of my blind support.

I feel sorry for you, truly.
No politician or party is worth that kind of trust and support...parhe likhay jaahil wali baat ki hai.

The supreme court is also corrupt...it is bought. Actually if it was not corrupt, the lower courts will think for a second before doing the nonsense that they do. The last CJ sold the country and dreams of an entire nation. He could have had his name etched in Pakistan's history books but he turned out to be a sellout.
Imran Khan redeems himself today.
"I will lead Azadi March tomorrow into the Red Zone."
"If the police fires, I will take the first bullet before anyone of you do."
Imran has caught the attention of foreign media right before his march into the critical 'red zone'.
When you get the attention of newspapers like Wallstreet Journal and Bloomberg, you clearly are doing something extra-ordinary.

After all he is more educated than most people on this forum, who are continually making him a laughing stock for his move of civil disobedience since yesterday.
LOL the guy has a Degree in Politics and Economics from the Oxford College.
Funny. Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudry too was named as one of the most influential personalities back in the day by TIME magazine, does PTI/kaarkuns recognise that?
He was educated from Oxford and that's why he deserves a blind, senseless fan following?
News flash - so were Benazir and Baby Zardari.
We all have functioning brains here, buddy. If IK can lead an unconstitutional disobedience movement alongside being glorified for his thurggery-threat of closing the tarbela dam because it's his "democratic right", then we are all well within our own personal freedom to question and criticise him over this policy issues.
