I can definitely tell u that this kid hammad has a better teachnique than most of the players in the current squads. He is being wasted.
Hammad azam has zero technique against spin bowling. But we dont want him for technique, we want him to finish off games.

Selectors said Ruman Raes is injured thats hy not selected for NZ tour but he is playing the final. PCB is a joke

Hammad was so good at u19 level. Allah knows what has happen to him..

why is Hafeez bowling? so he is allowed to chuck in domestic..

This is what I was saying on other posts aswell that we need complete allround batsmens and today I saw an improved hammad azam who got all the shots, got a gud head on his shoulders and was showing a very gud technique. Who can play like this and when needed can destroy the opposition. Such players we need in our team. Hammad azam, imad wasim, babar azam, haris sohail, nauman anwar, sharjeel khan are our future batsmens and are way way better than the current ones.

S̶t̶e̶y̶n̶ A bowler who can swing the ball away from the batsman gets Hafeez :steyn

Hafeez still can't play the ball moving even a bit away, gets his stumps rattled by Ehsan Adil. Adil looks to improved his speed

This is hafeez the great batsmen. Slightly movement away around that off stump from any bowler and hafeez sab is gone. This problem he had way back when he faced dale steyn and this problem he still has. What kind of a batsmen is he, why people rate him? I don't get it.

Ehsan Adil definitely has improved his speed, he is hovering around 135 kph with peak of 140-145 kph

Ehsan has all the bases to become a good test bowler, he should accompany Pakistan on overseas tour as a bench player

Actually, outside Asia if you don't pick Asif then Ehsan Adil becomes a key Test bowler for you.

How's the pink ball been behaving under lights ?

The batting on both sides seems ordinary and the crowd looks poor considering this is a final and a D/N match.

Sorry if this question has been asked before, but how is hafeez bowling in this match? Is allowed to bowl in domestic matches

Hammad Azam (not Mir Hamza) is the other potential huge asset outside Asia.

This match really is an audition for him and Ehsan Adil!

Who did he get out to ? A spinner. I am his big supporter but he cant play spin to save his life.
You have a year coming up playing Tests in England, NZ and Australia. Who cares about being unable to play spin?

Ok fine those pitches should take of his batting but what about his trundling as a bowler? What do u think will happen with his 125-130 kph thunderbolts in AUS?

His bowling is more suited to subcontinent while batting is more suited to bouncy and non-turning tracks.

I am all for giving him chances but he needs improvement.

If Hammad could average 35 per Test innings outside Asia and bowl 15-5-45-1 per innings then he is probably more of an asset than Hafeez.

Those numbers are Mitch Marsh / Shane Watson / Ben Stokes territory.

And those 15 overs let the quicker bowlers bowl shorter, faster spells.

I think yamin could do that Job better, i rate him better as a batsman than hammad

Rumman has got less pace than Mir Hamza although Mir is marginally fast medium at best. Still Mir is quicker. Mir has far better average and strike rate than Rumman and is a new ball specialist.

Than why Rumman opened the bowling? He had T20 like figures 4 over 23 runs conceded.

I don't know why we are famous for doing strange things.

Hammad is a crap cricketer as we've seen before and his wicket was just the batsmen playing a dumb shot to a ordinary ball.

I posted a team few days ago with Yamin in it and Imad in place of a spinner

Opener 1
Azhar Ali
Asad shafiq
Younus khan
Misbah
sarfraz
yamin
Imad
amir
wahab
ehsan adil/Imran khan

Good to see Taufeeq still out there. He is still one of the better openers in domestic. If he scores big here, might put himself in contention

U guys have proof that he cant play spin? He was playing them well, wo khud full ball pe sweep mr ke out hoa hy. Past my jo tha wo ussy bhool jao abi plz player ko dekho phir bat kro.

I dont know why he got dropped ahead of shehzad and alikes because he has been quite decent on overseas tours

He had this problem before steyn even made his debut. In 2003 pollock made him look like a tailender.

Because they want to take this avg Rumman into national team sadly

Oo bhai!! Plz yaar avain hi hawaa my na chora kro. Player ko phly dekho phir bolo. Past my spinners k khilaaf khrb ho gha, abi ny hy.

Getting emotional wont change the facts. I have watched him against spin and really not convinced. Not even today. He is still pathetic against spin. And you can almost guarentee that he will get out spin 8/10 times. And its mostly LBWs.

Anybody rating hammad as a bowler or a player of spin needs to get a reality check.
He is crap.
Yamin is the best all rounder atm, unless ammad butt comes forward with a few performances.

Now Ehsan gets Azhar with an in swinging full pitched delivery,Azhar was looking for an expansive drive.

Ehsan is bowling the best that I have ever seen him bowl.
Certainly, there is improvement in terms of his drive though the crease.
The back leg is following through unlike before where he would just stall after delivering the ball.
Pace is around 138-144 which together with consistent line and the side ways movt with the kookaburra is impressive.

135-140 kph IMO is his speed which is good given his height and ability to move the ball around. His batting ability also adds strength to tail

Looks faster in this spell.
Around 139/140 at average tday.
but still has to improve the efficiency of his action.
Wastes too much energy and height in that long delivery stride

The last delivery he bowled in this spell was definitely 140+ going by the carry to the WK.

Havent seen him today, Yesterday he looked around 135-140 kz

Mir hamza seems to be putting in a lot of effort here. Not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing. Fast bowlers in the longest format should be free flowing.

I have a soft corner for him. But he has done himself zero favours. Still a trundler, still cant play spin. He might have a future in LOIs though where pitches are flat and ball doesnt spin much.

I doubt that.
He is at the same level as he was in 2009.
In fact back then he was a better and quicker bowler.
Gets dismissed to even inoccuous spinners and is just about above average against pace.
I am afraid, there are better options around
