Yes i also heard, He had i bit of memory lost temporarily. But for LQ i need if Laddy fit then he should be in the xi. Or Hafeez needs to be used for 2/3 overs.

I second this. Dilbar should've been a no-brainer. Daniyal guy needs to go. Get anyone in emerging.
 
Australia batsman Jonathan Wells has joined Peshawar Zalmi squad while UAE fast bowler Zahoor Khan has been drafted in the Quetta Gladiators squad in place of West Indian all-rounder Andre Russell.

Zalmi’s trio of David Miller, Fabian Allen and Fidel Edwards’ stints with the franchise have ended, they will be joining their teams ahead of the West Indies-South Africa T20I series.

Meanwhile, Zalmi all-rounder Imran Randhawa would not be travelling to Abu Dhabi due to visa delay.

Russell has also left Abu Dhabi for national duty, he has been replaced by Zahoor in the Gladiators squad.
 
Quetta have lost six of their seven games and only got 2 points, so even a win against Lahore Qalandars does not guarantee them a spot in the playoffs as they will have to hope for other results to go their way.

Man has Azam lost weight at all. He looks unfit and doesn't look much different to last season tournament. He's batting well but his fitness is poor.
 
Azam Khan in the T20 team over Rizwan will help balance the team.

We cannot have 2 accumulators at the top. Azam Khan can keep and is a power hitter. He’s what we need even if Rizwan is averaging 100.

Quetta got it through their own talent hunt and club cricket. Thats the problem I feel with Quetta they have restricted themselves to cricketers they have seen play in their clubs and around. Credit to the guy that he played a good innings or two but, Quetta would have done better with a solid batsman at the top order in the shape of maybe Abdullah Shafique or even Saud Shakeel who they released after giving just one match if I am not wrong.

They could have even gone for an emerging talent like Qasim Akram or Mohahammad Haris and they even had the opportunity to but missed on that.
 
If I ask Rauf in a net session to give me 6 good length deliveries, he will fail 100 out of 100 times.

Rizwan has been the best T20 batsman in Pakistan currently, you seriously really can’t suggest to drop him when at the moment he is as good as any at the top.

Azam has been selected in the squad and that is as pure middle order batsman which is where he prefers to play.

The state of pakistani supporters these days, Rizwan is probably currently pakistans best batsmen, are you seriously suggesting we drop him for an overweight kid with no career highlights to date, give me a break.

Wow so one innings from Azam -in a tournament where TTFs like Asif and Iftikhar have you payed innings of extreme dominance- is enough to justify his place over our best batsmen, fielder and team man.

That’s true but you cannot have 2 accumulators at the top. England done it with Joe Root, and now Pakistan has to choose between Babar and Rizwan. One plays and the other doesn’t.

The balance of the team is more important for me. I want two sloggers at the top who can potentially get me 100 in the first 8-10 overs, and if that does happen, having Babar and Rizwan coming in after would be pointless. We have to back Sharjeel and Fakhar, there needs to be positivity. Learn from England.

If Wahab, Irfan, and Amir all got 20 wickets each in the PSL does that mean we play them all along with Shaheen and Rauf? Why do people only talk about the balance of the team when it comes to bowlers?

your making yourself sound silly, england could afford to do it with root because they have about 5/6 batsmen who were ready to take is place. We do not even have a solid number 4 and 5 yet you want to remove the only bit of consistency we have in this team :))

Balance of the team🥴 if Rizwan can play at 6 as a power hitter then fine enough, but he can’t be opening with Babar.

We won’t need a solid number 4 and 5 when our top 3 can play 10-15 overs🥴 Sharjeel, Fakhar and Babar as our top 3 can easily play till the 15th over, after that we bring in our power hitters.
 
If there were was an area for Nawaz to improve in the T20 game is his batting. He needs to continue the moment that Azam had built in the team. But this dot ball issue needs to be eradicated.

Yeah you hit the nail on the head with that one. We should instead replace the guy who’s basically ensured our wins in SA and Zim with an unfit unproven batsmen that has no justification for his selection.

I mean hey if balance is being 2 wickets down in the power play with the rest of the batting line up under tremendous pressure than sure balance it must be

Azam khan should definitely be in t20i team but not over Rizwan.He should replace any middle order player.

Now we’re including Zimbabwe in our debates as if beating them is some kind of achievement🤣🤣

Rishabh Pant isn’t fit but if he can get into one of the best teams in tbs world then why should we stop Azam Khan?

And that’s the problem with the Pakistan team, we have people in charge who think negatively just like you. You cannot go into a game thinking you’ll be 2 down in the PP. You have to back your players and put faith in them. There has to be positivity in the dressing room.

Even in last match we knew the results before hand when he was there.

Bro their's a difference between positivity and thinking rationally.

I brought up the Zimbabwe series for the exact fact that without Rizwan we would have lost the series. That is not a testament to how great Rizwan is but how pathetic our batting reserves are and why we must continue to stick with Rizwan in the team.

We have also seen our players be backed and guess what no result has come. We have seen below par batsmen who dominate our domestics like Asif Ali, Khusdhil Shah and Iftikhar Ahmed get countless chances on to prove themselves and time and time again they fail. Now please enlighten me how is Azam any different to them.

In regards to Pant it's like comparing an average overweight joe to a contestent on a weightless show.

Lets clarify one thing, on current form pakistan is closer to Zimbabwe than it is India, that is a fact. No one is saying Azam does not deserve to be in the team however in place of our best and most consistent batsmen, on what basis? i would understand if Azam was smashing these b grade pacers in the PSL but he isn't even doing that consistently , Rizwan on the other hand has been tried and tested in all formats and has performed.

if azam was anywhere near as good as Rishabh i would be all for it but he isnt even fit enough to lace his boots.
 
It's funny because I do think Azam does deserve a chance in the team. Who knows we might find gold in the end of the rainbow. However to suggest that we drop our best batsmen is just laughable

He has always been an impactless player that's why he keeps hiding behind the tail even when he was captain of the national team and people want to replace him with Rizwan.

This Quetta's captain always pick up fights with fast bowlers due to the fact he can't do anything to them while bowling so he picks up fight.

I believe that Shinwari has been hard done atleast in the ODI format where he averages 18 with the ball.
 
Sohail Akhtar would be toyed with any international fast bowler. Never pick him for the international side please.
