Quetta Gladiators (188/5) beat Lahore Qalandars (187/7) by 5 wickets in Match 4 of PSL 9

Qalandars used the short boundary so well
It was also poor game awareness from the bowlers, who kept bowling it in the arc into where the short boundary was.

Jahandad has done power but honestly, Abrar is a little overrated by some fans .

He wouldn't have been a significant improvement over Shadab or Usama at the World Cup.
Abrar is slightly better bowler than shadab. As a whole shadab is light years ahead of abrar as a cricketer and shadab is average at best. I think you are being too kind by calling him a little overrated.

Both Hasnain and Wasim JR looked like they were chucking throughout this innings

He wasn't last game and it was one over where he got hit. That happens.

Also, is there anyone not expensive in PSL? The par score is like 200 on these pitches.
He didn't bowl great last game either got lucky with couple of wickets which were long hops.

Jahandad was hitting everything to leg side but he's clearly got power and good hitting base.

As a T20 spinner, Abrar needs to learn the art of getting out of jail against someone clearly looking to take you down.

He will learn from this experience

He needs to improve against left handers too

Very impressive leg side striking by Jahandad

Needs to add some off side game too, could be a great lower order hitter if he can hit straight and on the off as well

Congratulations to Shaheen Shah for actually putting his team first before his own batting preference

Shaheen has a big task of removing Jason Roy before Harris Rauf bowls to him.

The ball could be sent to Liberty chowk if Roy gets to Rauf

Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan, Mr Neil Hawkins is watching Lahore Qalandars v Quetta Gladiators match at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore alongside Chairman PCB, Mr Mohsin Naqvi and senior PCB officials.

incidentally , does any1 besides myself think Rauf needs some help in basic cricketing skills & sense ?

sabhi peet rahey hain - 61 in 6 -0 rubbish

Saud massively disappointed in the world cup and especially in Australia. Such a talent

How Shaheen and Rauf have fallen. From being supposed best in the world to absolute rubbish

Saud Shakeel is playing comprehensively well, loving his batting display, especially that no-look shot to Shaheen Shah Afridi.

Zaman should bowl more of these like Malinga and Gul used to bowl. Wonder why yorker disappeared from the scene

Wow, heck of a swinging yorker by Zaman to get Saud. Top notch delivery.

The only thing I am disappointing with so far in this tournament is the awful standards in fielding. It seems like many of the players are awful fielding wise including the young domestic players which makes it all the most disappointing & frustrating.

If Saud Shakeel can improve against those straighter short deliveries, aimed at his body, he could be a good option when it comes to opening the batting in T20Is.

The best decision Quetta Gladiators made this year was finally giving Saud Shakeel a chance.

Wow, outrageous shot from Nafay.

This is the best part about PSL, the new & upcoming talent and making a name for themselves here.

He is still too smart and clever to read batters mind. He actually bowls with plan rather than spraying to hit 150kph
I agree. Bowling IQ is obviously 10 times that of up and down bowlers like Haris Rauf and he still can control his length.

That itself should get him in the side ahead of Rauf.

Rauf gets a massive wicket of Rossouw and that could be a game changer. Good to see Rauf get a wicket here, he's been struggling lately and hopefully he can start to turn around his game.

PAK spin options are very limited though.

Inside edge catch dropped. That's a routine catch and a misfield after that and instead of an easy wicket for Rauf, it's 3 more runs against.

Crappy life to be a Pakistani bowler honestly. Bowl on roads and your fielders are always awful.

149.4 clicks from Rauf. Better pace from him today.

Nafay looking like a classy bat. Certainly seems to like the pace.

This is an international level attack. Khawaja is doing very well. Same with the lad from Lahore earlier. We need to through some of these lads in at the deep end.
