India- Tendulkar, Gavaskar, Kohli, Dravid, Vijay Merchant, Vijay Hazare

Windies- Lara, Viv, Sobers, Headley, Lloyd, the three Ws

South Africa- Kallis, Barry Richards, Graeme Pollock, ABDV, Smith

England- Hobbs, Hutton, Hammond, KP, Root ( bar KP, all from the amateur era.), Compton(HTB)

Pakistan- Javed Miandad, Younis Khan, Inzamam

I keep telling you, all those guys were Professionals (except Hammond who was a Professional 1929-1938 and registered as an amateur thereafter).

I would include Bert Sucliffe (test average 60), Ken Barrington (test average 58), PBH May (test average a mere 47 and he was an amateur, but was nonetheless the the most clutch player England ever had).
