Where do you think he stands among his teammates across formats? He avgs 40+ in both tests and ODIs and has done well in big tournaments and big occasions.

I would also like to add if he could have a good enough test career while playing for India or if he played for any of Aus/SA/Eng/Pak/NZ?

He's the opposite of Sehwag, twice the player in ODI as he is in tests, have him at 4/8 respectively. If he plays overseas on the next few tours & does well then his stock will definitely rise.

He is underrated in tests. He could've done much better if he got more chances, but with Vijay and Rahul, he can only be the backup opener.

Yes he has at times scored big hundreds which is always a need of test cricket. But Vijay and Rahul are obviously better test cricketers than him to open for India.

5 and 8.

In Tests, he is almost an 8 or 9 in Subcontinent. Abroad, he is a 3 or 4 at best.

He had chances in Eng, NZ & SA. Had probably a couple of good innings vs 8 or 10 failures. He might be underrated on current form but his record ain;t great outside the SC, in tests.

Very good test player as well. India's 2nd best batsmen all-round all formats combined.

If Dhawan deserves a 5 in tests then so does Warner.

Dhawan averages 29 in SENA and Warner averages 31 in Asia.

6 in tests because he is a beast in Asian conditions - scores big, consistently and quickly. Outside Asia he's mediocre.

In ODIs he's 9 and is also a big match player - MOT in 2013 CT, leading run scoring for India in the 2015 WC and 2017 CT. Will play a pivotal part to India's WC campaign next year.

He is a watered down version of Sehwag. He is as good as him in ODIs, perhaps somewhat better. In Tests, he is dangerous in Asia and poor overseas, but Sehwag was of course legendary in Asia and better overseas than what people think.

Only on easy Asian tracks.
