So a few weeks ago finally tried Mumtaz in Leeds.

I'd heard good things about it from quite a few people so I thought I would give it a go.

We went midweek so it wasn't too busy and we got a table straight away.

I have to say the service was awful, with young inexperienced staff just wandering around. It seemed like the place was understaffed.

The food came and they hadn't even brought our drinks.

The food was tasty although the portions weren't very big. You could tell the food was freshly made and made by a decent chef, although presentation wasn't great.

The restaurant itself was clean and tidy with a good atmosphere, although I thought it was over-priced.

I won't be desperate to go there again.

Food 8/10

Value for money 4/10

Red Lobster. Feb 9, 2020. We booked for 30+ people for dinner. Had an entire room to ourselves. I ordered the Lobster plate.

Food quality: Okay. 7/10.
Service: We had two dedicated servers. They frequently checked on us once we started to eat. 7/10.
Value for the Money: I think it was pricey. Spent $125 USD for 3 Adults and child. 6/10.
Overall: 7/10.

Hare and Tortoise - (High Street Ken branch) - Japanese.

I have been to this place many times - there are a few branches around London.

I purely go there for their chicken katsu curry (chicken is halal there) and I love it. They also do good sushi etc, but the katsu curry is the winner there for me.

Ashirwad Indian restaurant Orlando FL.

Just a couple of miles away from universal studios theme park.

Had low expectations but good food for the location and demographic they are catering to.

Copa Cabana, Brazilian restaurant here in Toronto.

It was a bit pricey at $70 per head, but all you can eat and boy oh boy do the Brazilians know how to cook meat. Waiters will come to your table with these large seekhs of meat and slice a chunk onto your plate with this long sword-like knife. Also there was a samba dance performance halfway through the meal, that definitely added to the entertainment.

Finally tried Chick Fil-a in Toronto. The sandwich and fries are much better than popeyes. Service is also very good. Will rate it 8/10 which is very high as it is still a fast food place.

Visiting a family related couple in Bolton.

We were took to what looked like an aeroplane! Its literally a half cut Boeing 737. :yk

The place is called Steaks On A Plane.

Food: 8/10
Service: 6/10, they forgot my order. :mv
Value for money: 9/10

Overall: 9/10 - would be an 8 but gets an extra point for the unusual/bizarre factor.

The Stoned Crab in Bahamas.

Lahore Spices (Sutton, branch)

The food is amazing. However I feel the waiters are more friendlier to White skin people also its very very slow. I would recommend the takeaway as you get a discount.

Ivy Asis in St Paul’s
7/10.
Great location (directly in front of at Paul’s).
Excellent service
Oriental (Thai, Chinese, indon food)..

French people much have very high standards for cuisine - the best tastiest Pakistani food I ever had - it was at a Pakistani restaurant located in Paris, France. I saw that even French people were dinning out there. I tried eating food everywhere in the world, Mexico, USA, South Korea and other European countries but really nothing comes closer to it.

Lahore qila East Lancashire

Went to Red Lobster in Orlando last year, it was excellent.

The food was delicious, the service excellent and was very good value for money, especially with the free bread :)

Ate from a local Pizza Pizza store here in Toronto.

Pizza Pizza is a Pizza franchise in Canada. It is quite popular as price is the cheapest.

It is not my favorite pizza as I prefer Domino's more. I give Pizza Pizza B+.

Christopher’s, don’t think I’ve ever eaten a worse steak but the waitress was super nice

Spice Village (Tooting)

Standards have dropped. The nihari was just awful and the food didnt have the right balance of seasoning and spices. Visually also the food doesnt look appealing. Someone ordered the biryani and it had weird colours I have never seen before on a biryani.

What I found personally outrageous is that you cant tip with the cash machine.

Despite my rating it was the only full restaurant on a weekday evening.

Khatta Meetha
Hounslow West

A big group of us went there on Saturday. One of the friends knows the chef. hands down one of the best nihari, haleem and karahi gosht in london.

It was per-ordered so check and make sure they have it or they cook it for you before heading up to it.

It’s like a pan shop with few tables so you’re not there for the ambience or the service

Bamiyan Kabab - Toronto (Thorncliffe)

Hands down the best Afghani cuisine. I have been going to this location for 10+ years and the food quality has remained the same. Fresh and tasty.

I think they should reduce the rice portion, they serve a bit too much rice.

10/10

Asian Wok in Islamabad. In my opinion, the best Chinese/Thai restaurant in Islamabad.

9.5/10

Do they have a branch in Saddar, Rawalpindi?

If yes, I did go in 2015. Food was good.

It's odd that the restaurant is named after a famous food street in Peshawar, Pakistan but claims to sell "authentic afghan cuisine" lol.

It’s not Afghan restaurant. It’s Pakistani restaurant. There are other authentic Afghan Persian restaurants which are really bad

Why can’t it be authentic? They bring their skills here to the UK. Same as many other restaurants do.
