Great game, Rams were a worthy opposition and played well. To be honest had it not been for Sohail tanvir's innings, I admit they most likely would have won.

I don't think you outplayed us, but yes Tanvir should not have come in before.
 
RR were cruising but Tanvir started slogging out of nowhere - Rana snuck in two dots and then Naveed got out after being put under pressure. That's where the game turned.

Sialkot sure know how to win these finals.
 
Why the hell gov sindh is doing the round what is wrong with Pakistan.

Firstly I am not a Pindi supporter. I was just giving my opinion us a neutral fan.

2ndly, the Rawalpindi Rams were easily winning this with a RRR of around about 7 in the last 5 overs which is nothing in T20.

But Tanvir's dumbness lost them the game. Pindi played a perfect game, it's just Tanvir's dumbness which costed them the title. So yea, in a way Sialkotis are lucky to win this.
 
Sohail Tanvir has been too happy to promote himself in this tournament. There is no way he needed to come in ahead of Jamal and Hammad today when the ReqRR was easy for players with a full set of shots. Glory hunting came back to bite him.
 
Raza hasan , Man of the match? He kept his cool in his final over and got breakthroughs and economy is just impossible for this game? anyone?
 
Can't believe people admiring Tanvir's captaincy :facepalm:

yeah but if it wasn't for Tanvir 1 run over...they wouldn't have gotten this close!
 
Sialkot won this tournament with virtually 10 men.

Imran Nazir didnt do anything at all in any of the games.
That in itself is quite an achievement.

ofcourse he was looking for glory. jamal anwar should have come before him.

But did Rams deserve to win it? Of course not. Sohail as your captain bears responsibility.

And I've noticed very few non-Sialkot fans are neutral towards Sialkot :)))

He bowled a great over no doubt. But suppose he got hit for a few boundaries and they had to chase 10 runs more, even then Pindi would have won it considering how easily Hammad Azam was putting away Rana.

Anyway it's Tanvir's batting which costed them.
 
Sialkot are the most hated team - it seems - because of the players they have (:malik :rana), it's nothing personal against the region.

When you have someone commiting suicide, then yes the other side benefits and is, lucky :sohail

One positive thing about Sialkot was: Malik's captaincy. He was brilliant.
