13 teams in total :) That's the only practical way to divide 13 into 4 groups

Isn't Irfan meant to be in the Multan squad?

According to the PCB Squad List, no:

http://www.pcboard.com.pk/Pakistan/...wenty-20_Cup_2009-10/Multan_Tigers_Squad.html

However, that's incorrect. Cricinfo has him listed in the squad, correctly:

Abdur Rauf*, Ahmed Raza, Babar Ali, Gulraiz Sadaf†, Junaid Iqbal, Kashif Naved, Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Hafeez (1), Mohammad Irfan (1), Naved Yasin, Rameez Alam, Rizwan Haider, Saeed Anwar jnr, Shahid Abbasi, Shahid Akram, Tahir Maqsood, Taimur Ahmed, Zulfiqar Babar

Have edited the post above the reflect Cricinfo's squad for Multan.

isn't Talha also in the Lions squad? I could have sworn I saw him on the bench in the last game

The tournament was boring till now because of difference in quality of sides...

But with all the stronger teams holding right positions at the tof of their respective groups, and no major upsets... now the tournament enters into virtual knockout stages.

On paper Lahore Lions & Sialkot Stallions should have no problems to proceed to Semi round but thats T20 cricket.. and both Multan & Rawalpindi have talent to overcome the group leaders...

Shouldn't Mohammad Irfan, Naved Yasin, Rizwan Haider & Zulfiqar Babar be highlighted in bold for the team listings.. as they are the star players for Multan and they hold the key if Multan is to overcome Lahore

^ There you go, you've highlighted them in bold in your post so I think that should be fine ;-)

It is like EPL wher we almost know which clubs are going to make in semis....

I m with Stallions ...a fan of Malik

Hopefully we start having some decent games. The quality of the batting has been really really poor big problem in Pakistan that really needs to be sorted

The game has started but the channel isn't working anymore. :(

irfan bowling reasonably well however lacks a bit of pace and control

sohail nearly run out ... fatty jamshed refused to move from his crease

Good over by Irfan!
Abdur Rauf just got smacked for six.

Commentators are all over the place as usual...

"Yeh out hai... Nahin benefit of doubt jaata hai batsman ko"
And what's up with the toss? Why were they speaking english?

abdur rauf is no longer international material .. reasonable domestic level bowler

jamshed gone to irfan ...
good bounce for Irfan... should have been in the T20 shortlist for the WC..

butt first ball .. caught at cover ..
irfan gets the wicket but not a wicket deserving ball

He needs to get his speed up 140 and he will the complete bowler to replace tanvir

boy this lad is tall and boiy does he get good bounce...imagine ona real bouncy, fast track..
hell just imagine him on any english wicket!!!!!!!!!

Very poor shot though by sohail ahmad.

yes it was..i think he was hanging back slightly expecting another short delivery...

with his height he'll deceive a lot of batsmen!!!

Akmal (both) look in amazing touch.

man its difficult distinguish which akmal is facing!

Damn, missed Irfan's bowling, both Akmal's looking in super touch.

75/3 ..
commentator thinks irfan is 7' 6''. what nonsense. i dont think he is 7

umar akmal to kamran akmal ...

"kamran bhaee .. thale hona"/...

what does that mean?

Im gonna go to Karachi just to turn of the commentators mic

PCB just made T20 boring

Where is the crowd?

1st time watching pakistan domestic Cricket, thx to PP.

what a disappointment, crappy commentary, (the guy just said great security. well done keeping the crowd away)

no intensity without a crowd

Umar Akmal gets the heebie jeebies after a few dot balls in any format of the game and goes :127:

Commentator said it was the 'stritter one'.

LL looking et for a big score hhere after reaching 100 in the 14th over and U Akmal still there

Who is this guy bowling? :inzi

not sure but the commentators cant stop talking about fitness level everytime he comes on the screen

Another wicket goes down, Multan keeping theselves in it.
