So the World cup is over and now we will turn to club football ..After winning 1oth Champions league Real Madrid are well on their way to defend it .. Rumers are heart about james rodriguez, kroos and falcao comming to madrid and khedira , di maria and morata leaving ..

On the other hand our rivals(barcelona) bought luis suarez and rakitic amd sachez left for arsnal , i think it is going to be one hell of a season and i am looking forward to epic barca v madrid battle

Let's get started all madridistas

Congratulations to Khedira, winning Decima and World Cup after tearing his ACL.

La liga schedule should be out in the coming weeks.

Hate this part of the season (rumours) but I think Khedira is going to Arsenal and Kroos is incoming, haven't really heard anything substantial about DiMa leaving or staying.

Real just blew the league end of last season or would have had a historic treble.

I think they will run away with it this season, atleast in the league.

Atletico's squad is decimated and the replacements are unlikely to be same quality

Barcelono have done a complete revamp and have an inexperienced coach. His whole approach will take time to take shape and I think this will be a bedding in season for him and the new Barca

Atletico hasn't changed much tbh, only Costa and Courtois are leaving while it may be their best players they are bringing in worthy replacements of Manduzik (Bayern) and Navas (Levante). Majority of their midfield and defence is staying, they still have a shot at the title.

Barca… they need defenders.

^ Depends if they can hold onto Koke, Godin and the left back. Esp. if Koke goes their whole midfield will be torn.

Also I feel the role of Villa in their success last season is often underestimated.

I think barcelona will struggle if they couldn't buy any defender especially RB and CB .. I think they have a strong attack bit i think cenyral midfield is another weak area xavi is old and rakitic is still new in this barcelona setup but still they are favourites along with real for la liga and imo atletico will struggle this season as courtois and costa already left and filipe luiz and koke on their way out ...
I still bck real to win the league this year and they are favourites for CL as well along will bayern,PSG and barca:)

Ancelotti is really a poor manager when it comes to winning leagues. Barca are favorites for the title this time around, especially with the signing of Luis Suarez. Rakitic is another top quality midfielder proven in La Liga.

Toni Kroos is a good signing for sure, but an upgrade on Benzema is desperately needed.

One can easily become a Real fan they always sign an eye catching player every year this time its Kroos on the verge of joining them

so the midfield atm is Kheidira Kroos Di Maria
then Bale Benzema Ronaldo :14:

Khedira gone to Arsenal and Di Maria is on his way to PSG.
Kroos, Alonso, Illaramendi, Modric and Isco will cover midfield.

Rodriguez might also join Madrid.

Real Madrid complete Toni Kroos deal

The Germany international will continue his career in La Liga after signing a six-year contract with the Santiago Bernabeu side

Bayern Munich have announced that Toni Kroos has completed his transfer to Real Madrid for an undisclosed fee.

The attacking midfielder had long been linked with a move to the Champions League holders and he has now signed a contract with Madrid until the summer of 2020.

"We would like to thank Toni for his time at Bayern Munich," said Bayern chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge on the deal.

"We enjoyed some great successes together. We wish him and his family all the best in Madrid and at Real."

Bayern were initially keen to hold on to the 24-year-old, yet they put him up for sale after failing to reach an agreement over a contract renewal.

Manchester United also showed an interest in signing the Germany international, but Kroos eventually opted against a move to the Premier League giants in favour of Madrid.

Kroos, who played a key role in Germany's World Cup win this summer, will be presented to the media and fans on the honorary balcony at the Santiago Bernabeu at 17:00CET on Thursday.

The midfielder came through the ranks of the Hansa Rostock youth academy, but joined Bayern at the age of 16. He made over 170 official appearances for Bayern since breaking into the first team in September 2007.

LOL, it won't be the best even in La Liga.

Messi, Suarez and Neymar > Ronaldo, James and Bale

Guess you learnt nothing last season when Ronaldo and Bale were better then Messi and Neymar.

Suarez will struggle to replicate his form, because he has to play second fiddle to Messi.

Messi is better than Ronaldo and Neymar will do much better in his second season, should be on par with Bale but lets see how quickly he recovers from that horrendous injury.

Suarez is too good a player to struggle, and even if he doesn't replicate his Liverpool form, he'd still be better than James and comparing these two at this stage is absurd. Yes the Colombian is flavor of the month but he has a lot to prove.

Messi > Ronaldo

Neymar =/< Bale

Suarez >> James

Barcelona's attack for me, quite comfortably. La Liga is once again a two horse race though, it will be very hard for Atletico to sustain their performance especially with D. Costa, Luis and Courtois all gone.

If Barcelona don't sign a quality CB, they'll still struggle to go all the way though, because Madrid are sharper in other areas.

Rodriguez and Falcao may join Madrid.Florentino Perez wont be outdone by any Catalan thats for sure.

i think we have better players then messi and ronaldo (BOTH OF THEM ARE OVER RATED )

For me this is the best team in the world

GK:NEUER
RB: LAHM
CB:GODIN
CB:BENATIA
LB:ALABA

CM:VIDAL
CM:SCHWEINSTEIGER

AMR:Bale
AMC:Robben
AML:Reus

ST:SUAREZ

Benatia and Godin are really good but I'd go with T. Silva and Mats Hummels.

Robben on the right, Messi replacing Reus and Ronaldo for Bale and you have a phenomenal team.

Nah, Real are clear favourites for me

Barca have lost a top player in Sanchez and they won't have Suarez until later in the year

The Barca defence is still a concern, they need to sign a top centre back because Mascherano is not a centre back

The midfield is still a little unsure because Xavi is probably going to leave. It's odd BUT Thiago would be perfect and be a regular now without Xavi and Fabregas

Morata to Juventus. http://www.realmadrid.com/en/news/2014/07/official-announcement-morata

18€ with buyback for 30M after first year, 35M after second.

Casemiro loaned to Porto for 1M. http://www.realmadrid.com/en/news/2014/07/official-statement-casemiro

I don't think Morata is coming back, Juve is a huge club and they already have Tevez and Llorente. Hard for a youngster to excel there. This was a weird deal, he isn't worth that much.

Casemiro is a great player and hopefully gets a lot of playing time. He didn't get much time but when he did he showed great promise. (Away vs. Dortmund)

Best of luck to both!

Jose Rodriguez is likely off to Deportivo de La Coruña on loan. Great player, this should be good for him.

Also, Hames is looking like he will be a Madrid player come Wednesday.

Real Madrid to unveil James Rodriguez on Tuesday

The European champions have sealed a deal for the Colombia international, who claimed the Golden Boot at this summer's World Cup in Brazil

James Rodriguez will be unveiled as a Real Madrid player at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday.

The European champions made the Colombia international their principle transfer target on the back of the 23-year-old's stellar performances for his country at this summer's World Cup in Brazil, with the attacking midfielder winning the Golden Boot after netting six times in just five games.

Madrid reached an agreement with Monaco over an €88 million transfer fee over the weekend and finalised personal terms with the player and his representatives on Monday.

James will now be presented to the press and Madrid fans on Tuesday, with the construction of a special stage for the ceremony at the Bernabeu already well under way.

The club have also confirmed on their official website that the official stadium tour will not follow the usual route on the morning of June 22 as the Presidential Balcony, where Madrid signings usually make their first appearance, will be off limits to the public.

Meanwhile, the Liga outfit are also still hoping to persuade Monaco to part company with another Colombia international, Radamel Falcao.

Indeed, los Blancos have already made a breakthrough in their bid to bring the former Atletico attacker back to the Spanish capital, but the proposed transfer hinges upon Madrid's medical department declaring themselves satisfied with the striker's recovery from cruciate ligament surgery earlier this year.

The James deal is also likely to leave Isco surplus to requirements at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Spain international only joined Los Blancos from Malaga last summer but, after struggling to nail down a regular berth in Carlo Ancelotti's starting line-up, could be offloaded, with Premier League outfit Liverpool closely monitoring the playmaker's current situation.

What a signing James Rodriguez is! However, Real's troubles are more in defense than offense, an area they would do well to reinforce. Kroos is another brilliant signing, so calm on the ball. Would be tragic if Di Maria was moved on, he's been absolutely incredible since the last bit of last season

so how are they going to fit:
james
isco
illarramendi
kroos
modric
alonso
Khedira
di maria
bale
jesse

all in midfield, surely isco will be ****ed off - more bench time
i understand illarramendi/alonso khedira- more off DM and will rotate, but thats too many midfields who all wanna play 40+games this season bar isco/jesse(both young/developing),

I can almost understand the huge price tags for Bale and Suarez as they proved themselves to be top performers in a top league ... James on the otherhand does not have that same pedigree and I think its absurd to pay so much based on a few WC games.

Is James worth that much ?

Yes.

It may seem expensive right now, but in the long run €70 M for James will be a steal. A young, skillful, marketable player from South America who has given 40% image rights to Madrid is going to earn Madrid a lot of money. Although he isn't on the same level as Suarez or Bale, he has potential to go there, he's only 23 and still has 2-3 years to get to his prime. It's absurd, he is worth 50M maximum right now, but it's where he can go. Monaco paid 45M for him just last year, this is the only way Perez could get him, this is how the Madrid business model works.

Potential is there.

Di Maria wants to leave and face a new challenge, nothing Madrid can do about that. Khedira is also outgoing. Jese is injured till October/November.

Ancelotti isn't going to start James and Kroos right of the bat. They will have to earn it their spots, just like Illaramendi and Bale did. Also, it all depends on how Ancelotti will play them and which formation he will use.

—————————————————Benz/James
———————————Ronaldo/Jese—————Bale/Jese
————————————————James/Isco
——————————Modric/Alonso——Kroos/Illarra
——Marcelo/Coentrao——Ramos/Nacho--Varane/Pepe—Carvajal/Arbeloa
————————————————Lopez/Casillas

Theres still a month left of transfers btw.

Also, this.

Real Madrid C.F. season 2014–15

Must be nice to have so much money. Aren't they 600m euro in debt? Or did they pay it all off last year.

I know they have huge revenues and lots of tax breaks from the Madrid government, that's probably a big reason.

Interesting to see how they fit together..great individuals doesn't guarantee great chemistry

In there prime yes, however James and Bale have not reached there prime yet.

Yes, well I tend to pick actuals over hypotheticals. I will re-evaluate my choice whenever James and Bale reach their prime.

I would love to see how Real adjust the position of James, it will be pretty interesting as a lot of other players won't like it :13:

Ancelotti can definitely tinker with his formations now based on the type of players Madrid have signed. There is talk of Pellegrini taking Isco on loan with the view of making the deal permanent, it could be a good signing as it will relieve the creative burden of Silva.

If Real manage to integrate the new signings successfully then they will be a monster in European matches. PS: Real fancy making a cheeky bid for Torres :P?

Debt has been decreasing year by year, its around €138 million these days. They'll release the annual financial report on the first week of September.

Well Real Madrid isn't a regular club, it doesn't operate as a "company". It's owned by the members and they select a President to make decisions.

I guess they will fire sale some people to stay under the FIFA Fair Play regulations.

Rodrigeuz made a mistake going to Real. He plays off the left, where Ronaldo plays. On top of that, he is going to be completing for ball time with Ronaldo and Bale. He is very talented but the odd one out of those 3. Don't think it was a good move on his part, unless Ronaldo moves to striker and they slowly face out Benz.

James 10 merchandise are selling like hot cakes so from a business point of view as well, this doesn't really seem to be the absurd move many claimed. Price is huge no doubt but they have this young star for 6 years who is going to be the face of the club for years to come.

On field though, they're gonna feel better about signing Toni Kroos. Technically the best midfielder in the world (acknowledged by FIFA), ideal replacement for ageing Xabi Alonso. Also, mentally i believe this guy's a genius, his presence of mind is exceptional. He's going to be the glue in this Real Madrid team, despite all these expensive signings in there. How is he worth just 20 odd millions i don't understand when some awful ones like David Luiz are getting close to 50. Market forces

Nah, it will work fine

Ronaldo to the left, Rodriguez central and Bale to the right

Phenomenal talents.

Pepe called Keita a monkey when they last met so Keita refused to shake his hand and then Pepe spit on him and Keita threw his water bottle.

Court suspends Madrid's Bernabeu project

The club's spectacular plans for the renovation of their stadium have been brought to a halt amid an investigation by the European Commission into alleged "illegal public help"

Real Madrid's plans to renovate the Santiago Bernabeu have been suspended by the Spanish High Court amid an investigation by the European Commission into alleged corruption.

Madrid unveiled their proposals for the spectacular stadium in January, with the all-new Bernabeu to include a shopping centre complex and a hotel in an area to cover 12,250 metres adjacent to the ground - almost half of which is currently unoccupied land and would be given to the club as part of the agreement.

In order to approve those plans, Madrid's government approved changes to the city's General Urbanisation Plan from 2011.

However, the European Commission has opened an investigation into possible "illegal public assistance" by part of the government towards the club.

A group of ecologists have also filed an official complaint claiming that Madrid reneged on a previous agreement to build an underground car park and a walkway giving access to the stadium in 1991.

"The club never fulfilled its part and ended up owing the government €2.8 million," a statement from the action group Ecologistas en Accion AEDENAT read.

The Spanish High Court have decided that the European investigation means there are sufficient grounds to bring a halt to the €400m project.

The Madrid government dismissed the High Court ruling in a statement on Friday which read: "The agreement between the Madrid government and Real Madrid, which is supposedly the cause of the procedure opened by the European Union, has nothing to do with the modficition of the [urban] planning. Therefore, it makes no sense to halt these modifications when they have absolutely no relation to the proprietary agreement."

Madrid, meanwhile, have 10 days to lodge an official appeal against the High Court decision.

Comon, seriously what is your club starting to do.

Signing too many stars will only invoke War of Egos in the club and that results in pathetic turnaround :yk2

well, why do I care #putaMadrid :akhtar

think they have to sell di maria to fund falcoa,
levezzi supposedly linked with juve/both milan/liverpool - around 20meuro's i read, psg could buy di maria but would be in trouble with FFP,
does mourinho want another left winger?

only two clubs i can see who can afford price&wage

You missed Man United Bro :)

Madrid can buy all the big name attackers they want to but at the end of the day their defending ability is poor.

Pepe, Ramos and Marcello are clowns, Varane wants out, Xabi Alonso is near the end at DM and their only other player that tracks back di Maria is leaving.

Instead of spending megabucks on Falcao they should be trying to sure up the defense.

Real Madrid C. F. would like to announce the extension of Karim Benzema's contract with the club until 30 June 2019, to include the next five seasons.

Satellite

Great news. On to the Euro Supercup.

Florentino Perez doesn't spend money on players who aren't flashy.

Selling Di Maria is a big mistake. Not only he was great offensively, he helped defence by tracking back. His work rate is admirable
Where are they going to fit in all the players, there will be clash of egos. Btw kaylor Navas Navas is a great signing.

According to latest reports PSG are out of the Di Maria race citing him as 'too expensive' and Man United are the best contenders. Will he really want to leave for a non-CL playing club?

Also what is the latest on Khedira, Wenger came out today and said the club were never linked with him. There will be no shortage of candidates for him, it will be interesting to see how this saga plays out.

You think Madrid will function with one Striker only?

I'm hoping yes, Falcao coming in will dry up Isco's minutes, which he desperately needs. Also, Jese comes back in October/November and he can play winger/CF so they're technically playing with one striker for just a couple of months. Carlo also said Karim is all he needs.

United not having CL is just temporary, in the long run I don't think Angel would refuse United just because they have no CL next year. Usually, whenever Wenger says something it's true. I'd be happy if Madrid keeps Sami.
