Been a red since I was a little knipper, when we had glory days!

I wonder if Ronaldo can unlock possibly one the greatest and more organised defences we have seen in this decade.

Played for a French team that built the attack from midfield, later he did the same at Real. He'll hardly play too many wingers.

They are still around and Fergie still looks the same as well :)) what a legend, so much admiration for Buffon :bow me Italian housemate is not a big footy fan and doesn't like Juventus either but is supporting Buffon

It's good for the game that an Italian side has conceded early - had it gone to break 0-0, this match won't have been worth watching in 2nd half.
 
Tbf the deflection left no chance for Buffon.

An early goal in a final is always great. Im still back Juve for some strange reason.

Defo all most neutrals are backing Juve tonight, they play some incredible football. Shoaib Malik is a Real Madrid fan , hope he doesn't lose too much confidence ahead of his big match tomorrow if Real lose.
 
I am a Madrid supporter but due to some reasons want Juve to win. It will greatly help italian football

Don't worry about Malik he always brings his batting shovel to India games :afridi I want RMF to win for Ronaldo as am a fan of him, grew up watching him destroy teams in the EPL during his prime we were so lucky to have a footballer of his class in England miss the fella. But at the same time am a fan of Buffon to, my lil sis is a big fan of his as well she predicted Italy would win the WC in 06 as well :))

Jokes aside, the man is sensational; I honestly will never understand those who think Leo is better. Sport's easy when you have unlimited funds to buy success. At least in cricket, despite its flaws there's some semblance of egalitarianism and any team can win on their day.

That being said, Ronaldo is a machine and deserves all the plaudits he deserves.

One is the most complete attacker of all time, an all-time great goal-scorer and an all-time great playmaker rolled into one. The other is an all-time great goal-scorer, but not even among the top 50 when it comes to playmaking qualities.

This game has not seen a better individual player than Messi, but if one has to criticize, then yes his mentality can be questionable at times. Higuain has choked (he is football's Amla actually) Argentina out in numerous finals, but Messi should have scored in at least one of them.

Looks like he will have to win an international trophy from the touchline like Ronaldo.

Messi would probably choke under the pressure of playing in the Championship or EPL, so you're right; for all his greatness as an "individual" he got nothing to show for it :broad

Out side that wonderful Barca team in a particular system, Messi won't stand up even by the side of Enzo Fransiscoli. Ball playing quality in not only his monopoly among Latin players; but not everyone had that Barca team to play around & the protection you get from referee in Spain for wearing 2 types of shirts there. His Argentina show indicates what he'll do in EPL or Bundes Liga.

That's the thing I hate about Ronaldo fan boys. Join the football watching train from Champions League round of 16 and by the final let out the fatwas. I wish for once rm boys watch the whole la liga season, just once.
