It has been reported that players were involved in blaming each other for the terrible defeat in Australia tour. During the team meeting, discussion became fiery. A series of heated arguments were thrown by players at each other resulting into a mild confrontation.

With the recent ODI defeat by 4-1 and Test defeat by 3-0 against Australia, Pakistan cricket team players have started to blame each other for the poor performance. The reports claim that dressing room environment hasn t been friendly lately.

There were matters like junior players disrespecting the seniors in squad. Moreover, some players accused Mickey Arthur was treating Imad Wasim as a proclaimed son. The players were blaming one another for the disappointing series defeat against Australia.

According to sources, Muhammad Amir was questioned by an anonymous player that why wasn t he bowling well? He replied with a question saying, "Why are you dropping catches on my deliveries?” Amir was accused by some players of playing selfish cricket.

Wahab Riaz was asked why he wasn’t bowling decent enough to which he came up with an interesting answer saying, "I am tired". Furthermore, Umar Akmal was asked about his poor batting as well. He responded that he s batting up to his skill.

Asad Shafiq was lambasted for his poor batting. He was accused to be in the team because of personal ties and not talent.

Apparently, Amir and Wahab were carrying a lot of shopping bags which were difficult to carry. Rahat Ali seemed silent as usual while only one member of the coaching staff was sighted at comeback and it was batting coach Grant Flower. Meanwhile, head coach Mickey Arthur will reach UAE on 2 February.

Sounds too cheesy to be true. If this is the team spirit, then surely we need to kick each and everyone out of the squad and start with team first mentality

Reports state that Pakistan’s players allegedly blamed each other after suffering a disappointing defeat in Australia.

Heated arguments ensued in the dressing room as the national cricket team suffered a 4-1 one day international series defeat after the 3-0 test series loss at the hands of the Australians.

It was reported that there were moments where juniors disrespected the seniors and Imad Wasim was called out as the national team coach’s proclaimed son.

Muhammad Amir ,Wahab Riaz were targeted for poor balling and the likes of Umar Akmal and Asad Shafiq were blamed for the poor batting show and were attacked with vicious taunts of favouritism over merit.

Only batting coach Grant Flower was reportedly seen after the incident with head coach Mickey Arthur travelling to the UAE on February 2.

Which player or team management is leaking this?

A news channel applying confirmation bias to generate a story and get some clicks.

Nothing to see here.

Clickbait. Even if some of this happened, it's not bad per se. But of course when leaked to the press, it looks worse than it is

Lol expecting some statements from players and management now.

If anyone thinks blame game isn't a normal thing in the dressing room , she is too naive.

Look at the source "Dunya News", saw this on bulletin yesterday. Both Newscaster & reporter sounded too eager to make a controversy out of thin air.

Do these media outlets have any shame ??

It's obvious this is all made up crock of baloney.

There needs to be a press regulator to keep these shamlesss journalists in check.

I am sure this kind of heated discussion happens in every team's dressing room after a big defeat, even among Australian players recently after their loss to SA. This is nothing more than some masala news and nothing unusual here.

What Pakistani fans are commenting: another leak, what is wrong with these people.

What Pakistani fans are actually thinking: what happened next? what happened next?

How can a bowler like Amir play selfish cricket? Why is the person who questioned Amir anonymous but amir is named? What does Amir and Wahab carrying heavy shopping bags have to do with anything? I am so confused

Hahaha. Thats a joke of the day for me. I mean Players like Amir , Wahab and Umar were accused , but who is that anonymous person ? Azhar Ali ? or Hafeez? It should have been opposite to makele some sense but do you really think that azhar , malik hafeez or even hasan ali has guts to accuse guys like Amir , Wahab and Akmal ??

Pathetic by these TC Channels, just to get some views and clicks.

The reality however is, 90% of general public would've enjoyed it and hurled a couple of more abuses at these players.

Is that a translated article because its not really having any proper flow.

It was a totally expected defeat.
If we could have one 2 matches, i would have been satisfied.

Lol tu tu mein mein happens in EVERY SINGLE LOCKER ROOM. Those who have played any team sport in a competitive manner will confirm this.

If you are passionate about a sport then losing hurts and hurts a lot and you don't just sit there and happily accept it, you lose your temper, you try to fix blame. This is natural, and I would be glad if this news is true, just shows the players are sick of losing and want to get back to winning.

Lol. Way too cheesy to be true. I'm sure if they were blaming each other, they wouldn't be saying stuff like that lmao

But why? A batsman can be selfish for his own average. A bowler bowling like that is only going to hurt his own stats

Maybe being selfish as a bowler means trying to bowl defensive lines rather than attacking for the fear of getting hit for runs?

Gossip bakwaas..I hope some of the teeny boppers dont take this news seriously ignore and please mods delete this thread!!

Exactly. Amir sometimes not ready to take risk of wicket taking bowling but more focus on economy

The big one was the attack on Shafiq - it is one thing to criticize one's lack of performance but to throw them under the bus on the account of being in the team on the basis of connections and not talent is a big no-no even if there is some truth behind it.

Wonder why Imad is getting preferential treatment?

Rest of the accusations are spot on - even against Amir although he was completely right to put out why catches were being dropped off his bowling.

funny how Amir goes on pointing other peoples drop catches, but doesn't bother to look at the catches he himself has dropped

False report - I can bet on this.

This PAK side has many other issues, but this is a team built by Misbah & Azhar - they'll never scratch each other's back, because that doesn't keep them in comfort - rather being together keeps them safe & sound. What Misbah has done in 5/6 years is that he has created a very loyal & devoted bunch of players, who doesn't bother for the loss or own performance - Azhar is just a continuation. Actually, whoever tries to bring result into it will get filtered out - by now every player have realized that - be with the bunch & be safe.

I won't put names, but one can see that 7/8 core players are having a free ride in the team regardless of individual performance or team results - may be sometimes they had to sit out a match or series, but more or less these players are there & shuffled around. On contrary, players like Sohail, Tanvir, Maqsood, Jamshed ... has come & gone by - I won't be surprised in Hasan, Imad suffers the same at first failure.

I don't think defeat or poor performance hurts PAK players - therefore don't believe they'll stress relationship for the sake of the team - it doesn't earn them much. Rather, they'll back each other & make sure that same faces are shuffled around for whatever performance. I'll not be surprised if 11 or 12 of 16 men playing in AUS ODI to make the CT 2017 team & most of them will play in next WC as well.

Funny, how haters are blaming Amir for pointing fingers on the basis of masala report!

Why is it that you always have to present doomsday scenario..

This is all masala news. Me personally I think the players know that Azhar is a terrible captain and are just waiting for him to get sacked. I saw a different Pak under Sarfraz in the T20's.

Haha laughing at PP'ers innocence. This report is probably true and won't be surprised if there is more to it. When you lose that many games like we did, these things are bound to happen even at club level cricket.

What's funnier is that PP'ers still making their playing XI with Hafeez at 6 and Junior Akmal as an opener. Hilarious. So far from reality.

:)) im glad you we share th same view points.

People will believe what they want to. If they dont like the news it becomes masala, if they like it then its not masala.

And you are spot on the hageez no.6 discussion. Guy is an opener, its impossible to play an opener at lower order, hell of difference in technique and playing style.

Opening is also difficult.

But most guys here think opening, middle order batting is alll the same

Dude, get real please.

In EVERY locker, dressing room, such things happen and things get heated. especially after MONTHS being on a tour, and losing.

It's reality of life and sports, it's the way some words are portrayed in a masala report that's hilarious. Get real again.

I wasn't sure if I would get any support on this. People usually start pointing guns if you call spade a spade here. In T20 WC'09, there were 6 players in the squad who weren't speaking to each other. This happens all the time in every team. So no masala news. What about Australia tour of 2010?

Exactly. Umar Akmal has probably never opened in his life but posters here already mark him down as an opener and Hafeez at 6 is just hilarious. Delusional stuff

lol bowling is one area where you want to be selfish. You want a bowler who wants to run through the lineup and get 10 wickets...

But why? A batsman can be selfish for his own average. A bowler bowling like that is only going to hurt his own stats

I think you know the answer....

Nevertheless when you are bowling to warner n Smith he probably prefers figures of 10 overs 45/1 instead of 75/3
