Just like we had high bounce, swing and seam settings so 150-160 was par score at Lair which was around 250+ at cage and MU stadium and 220+ at Adda, spicy mansion.

I do believe it is a decent batting pitch. Refer to my earlier post.

I think a score of 170 on this pitch will be the score after which you can feel a little confident. 150 will be chased. Anything between 150-170 is anyone’s game.

Similar to playing 5 pacers on a DRY bit high seam / high swing pitch.

158 is a decent score but actually slightly below par because of the run out as well as the good containing job. However, it will come down to the wire as PB can easily chase 150-155.

That’s why you’re not seeing a 200+ score. Bounce is Good, hence I would place par/above par at 165-175.

158 is slightly below par, but does not mean you can’t defend a below par target. After all, [MENTION=53377]jeetu[/MENTION] bhai suggested some people will bat like clowns today :afridi
 
run rate is good, no wicket lost even when super bowler bowling, from here it looks like a big advantage and easy chase for PB, someone needs to produce a magical spell here

Either there’s a dramatic collapse in the batting order (or else 2-3 players get out for single digits is not remarkable enough for [MENTION=53377]jeetu[/MENTION] to mention) or there is one bowler who is smashed around the park. Cornered Tigers aren’t playing so you can rule me out for that last one :afridi

That's the end of the game and The Pindi Boyz wrap up a massive victory winning by 6 wickets. Loose Cannons CC was never in the game but that is more down to The Pindi Boyz's excellent performance than it was the former's poor effort. The bowlers were probably licking their lips when they saw the pitch today - the pitch was very sporting, to say the least. All of the disciplines benefited greatly throughout the day. These two teams were fairly evenly matched so it was tough to predict the outcome. That being said The Pindi Boyz proved to be the stronger in the end and snatched victory.

Talking about the game, like I said earlier chasing is our strength and I backed our guys to chase anything under 170 which we did comfortably. One risky move was playing the spinner [MENTION=138411]EngrOmair[/MENTION] at this ground but it paid dividends as he was really economical. Jibbu at 3 and KP at 5 worked out perfectly with KP finishing the job as I wanted him to. Batting was sublime throughout. No one played slowly and we maintained almost 9 RPO throughout the innings. Bowling was superb too but Cannons' batting is always dependent on the super bats doing well and fortunately today they failed along with that crucial run out of [MENTION=128087]last_knight[/MENTION] effected by yours truly :afridi

Big shout out to [MENTION=128087]last_knight[/MENTION] who gave me a lot of headaches with regards to the strategy to counter his almost perfect selections in every game. Loose Cannons were a tough team to beat which is why I was really happy to exact revenge in this final.

Not bad for a debut season huh? 2 finals and missed out on the ODI qualification. Here's to many more successful seasons.

Finally, kudos to the organisers [MENTION=40952]Batman[/MENTION] [MENTION=53377]jeetu[/MENTION] . You guys made this terrible pandemic that much more bearable.
 
Imran Khan being my first pick in the international picks knew he would do something great and he sealed the final with gigantic six!

Well done to all the teams and everyone who organised it as it was nice to be a part of this league since after a decade lol.
